I was planning to use this product for everyday wear but also intended for hunting and golfing. I am disappointed that they don't have an opening in the front for men to use for going to the bathroom. When hunting or doing any activity this is very inconvenient. They fit around the waist is great. I do wish they were a little more snug fitting around the legs.

No fly for quick pee breaks. Did like the material but annoyed with having to half way undress at the urinal

Very comfortable and breathable, keep me dry when I get very sweaty. Durability is awful though. The crotch and butt panel weave started to "snag/rip" all over pretty shortly after getting them, it wasn't a complete tear though. It made them quite see-through. After about a year they started to tear the whole way making 1-2 inch holes.

Due to merino's benefits a lot of people will buy these for hiking and travel. The fact that there is NO FLY, unimaginable frankly, should be prominent in the description. They also run small.

Fit is really poor. Fits like a bag, won't stay in place.

No fly! Strange. I would never have bought these boxers if I had known that they did not have a fly!

I bought several pairs for my husband, who was shocked when he tried to pee that there was NO FLY! Who ever hear of men's briefs with no fly?? Good grief. Very uncomfortable

It doesn't have a fly. How are you supposed to pee? Drop trou and sit? Wrote to Smartwool. Their response was to give me a list of those briefs that had a fly. Who designed those things anyway? Certainly not a guy.

Pros: very soft, doesn't retain odors Cons: constantly ride up your legs, after a few hours they stretch out and feel loose, always reaching down and pulling theme back down, always feel like I have a constant wedgie, constantly adjusting myself (guys you know what I mean). I have a few pair of first lite boxer briefs and have never had this happen before. I love smart wool socks and thought I would give these a try. Extremely disappointed.

Smartwool modified the design and sourcing of these briefs. I purchased these to add to my collection of Smartwool briefs, which I had grown to love. What a disappointment. No fly, no waistband lining, and the 150 Merino appears thinner/lower weight. This is not what I had come to expect from Smartwool.

These boxer briefs do not have a fly. I will assume that, for reasons beyond my imagination, some men want underwear without a fly. I cannot figure out why Smartwool would not include this seemingly crucial information on the website's product description.
