These VIP briefs will keep me warm and dry during fall hikes in the White Mountains and winter skiing in Vermont. It is important to stay warm and dry from the first layer out.

Great briefs. I appreciate them NOT having a hole in front, as I use them for running. I am currently experimenting with modifying them for a more secure fit for 2 hour plus runs, to avoid chafing, and I have sewn them into my Smartwool 5 inch running shorts, replacing the designed liner which did chafe me on longer runs.

Fit well and are comfortable for all day wear.

After awhile of testing I'm suprised to say that you can actually keep these going for a week straight (maybe a little less sometimes). Ordered more after the first couple weeks so I can have a few in rotation. Much better than cotton or other poly blends on the market -hoping their longevity proves that point.

All I use is wool boxer briefs and socks. I work as a field mechanic and wool keeps you cool on the hot day and warm on the cold ones.

I love these and have 12 pair, BUT I would love them even more if they made something like this for women. I'm sick of rinky boyshort style for women. We need hard-charging sports underwear! I want coverage that won't ride up, something to wear camping/working with others so when I change clothes, my underwear cover me. The only think that needs to be changed to make these for women is 1. no extra space in front compartment, and 2. maybe a reworking of the backseam (none or a single one?), but the latter is less important. . Def keep waist high and legs long. Why can't anybody figure out that women want better fitting bras and underwear in this life? You can do it, Smartwool!

I use this product for hiking, gardening and everyday use.

I love everything about these, except the price. I wear them until they are rags. I always have the same problem, I wear them to bits. I move a lot, walking up hills in the winter and pedaling down them in sumer, I wear the crotch / legs right out from use. I keep on buying more because they are so comfortable, breathable, and just downright amazing. Low odor, low chafe, durable. I love everything about these underroos, except the price.

My wife and I are waking the El Camino490 miles. I tested several pair of briefs to find the one that would best serve my needs over 35 days of walking. These sport briefs were by far the best of the bunch. I'm only bringing two along for obvious reasons of space, but also because they wash out easily, do not smell and are super comfortable. They do not ride up and keep their stretch.

These breathe super well and feel great. You get used to not having the front opening. I have grown to prefer the solid construction.

I think these breath at least as good or better as cotton, and they dry as quickly as synthetics without the way synthetics hold odor. I like these for skiing and travel. The only downside is the price.

These are the best underwear on the planet, hands down.

I actually purchased these for myself (female) as I wanted higher waisted underwear that I could wear with dresses so my thighs don't rub. So happy very comfortable
