This edition of Bean's classic boat shoe is the best ever in comfort and quality. I plan to wear them year round - in town, on the beach, and as a camp shoe in the field.

This is the second pair I've bought. I finally wore out the first pair after many years of good service. The life cycle starts as casual dress and winds up as wet grass yard shoes. They wear very well and I think they're a great value for the price. I would highly recommend this product.

Great all-around boat shoe. Comfortable and the quality leather finish can be worn anywhere.

Boat shoes are my go-to shoe; wear them all the time. I'd worn another brand for decades, but the last two pair I bought were not the quality I had previously experienced, so I decided to try Bean's offering. So far, so good. They were immediately comfortable and conformed easily to my feet. I've only had them about three months, so it's too early to comment on their durability, but if they match my experience with other Bean products I'm confident they'll last.

Got these to replace an old pair of Docksiders. They were a little dressier that I'd expected and would work well at the office. I'm not disappointed and they'll serve my purpose. I normally wear an 11-11 1/2. The review indicated that they were a little big so I ordered 11. They're snug, but will stretch with wear. Well made shoes.

purchased these for my boyfriend, and i slipped them on coming in for the night...could hardly believe how soft they feel. he loves them. everyone is happy!

This was a gift for my husband, who is not the easiest to please. But, as soon as the box arrived he opened it and tried them on. The last time I purchased shoes for him from you, I ordered the bison loafers. He wears them, but much prefers the moccasin style that you offer. I have been wearing these for decades. I buy a pair and wear them everyday. After maybe 5 years the sole splits. Beautiful leather and sewing. Fit great right out of the box.

These are great for dress or casual!

Really, I live in these shoes year round, unless it's 12 inches of snow. Been buying LL Bean shoes exclusively for most of my life.

I appreciate the ease of slipping on and off a great looking shoe. The shoes are well made and look cool whether I'm wearing khakis, jeans, or shorts.

The quality is very good. The mocs were stiff at first; but after a few days of wear, they have become more flexible and started to mold to the shape of my feet.

I have had this shoe for nearly 2 years now. I have wide feet so I ordered my exact size with EE, and it fit me perfectly from day 1. I never developed blisters. It is my daily 'beater shoe' which I wear to work and on weekends. It gets dirty but a gentle polish and they look good as new. I sail with them, and they are one of the few legit boat shoes that are still made. For its price you will not find another comparable shoe. I own another pair of boat shoes from another company bought at 3x the price, and I like those shoes a lot, but I guarantee they are not 3x better than these Casco bays. I wear them in the rain and I admit i've fallen overboard with them and gotten them completely submerged. One fell off my foot, but was able to retrieve it from the water as this shoe floats. Once they dried they did not smell and after a wear they were as supple as they've always been. I hope LLBean maintains the build quality since I bought them May 2018, as when these shoes eventually wear out, I will certainly buy another pair. Keep up the great work LL Bean!

These shoes are good looking and comfortable, true to my size. A good choice with or without socks, around the house or in the yard. They also look great with a pair of khakis for a night out. Would buy again.

Pleased to see i got what was advertised. Shoe was good quality, appears well made. Size was perfect. I have a hard time finding wide sizes, usually just get next size. NOT the same.

Other than the rawhide strings being too long I have no issues with the product. I wish it was available in blue, was disappointed it wasn't. would. buy another pair if available in blue.

This product is outstanding.
