What I always expect from you, good quality.

I just pulled these out of the box and was blown away by the look and feel. It feels much more expensive than it is. I typically wear a size 13, although sometimes I wear a 12. I bought 13 M and the length is spot on, with a thumb nail's width of space between my big toe and the end of the shoe. The width is not at all tight. The card that came in the box said they might be snug in the forefoot at first, but that wasn't the case for me. They feel just right, if not a smidge wide. There won't be any break-in. The leather is beautiful and soft, and the interior finish feels so premium. I've always loved L.L. Bean and still wear my Camp Mocs that must be about 20 years old now, but these are as good as it gets. Very impressed and happy.

Very pleased with the quality of the shoes, the fit and the value. These shoes are easily $50 less than others I considered.

This is one of the 3 pairs I have. Love them, great fit, always comfortable right out of the box.

Tastefully styled men's casual shoe that fits well. The light brown color on the website is a bit deceiving as they are actually darker in person but much lighter than the Canyon color. The fit is good although I do use a cushioned insole since most shoes nowadays have virtually no cushion or support.

These shoes are very comfortable and seem very well made. They are comfortable without socks as well. I ordered 1/2 size smaller than my normal size and this was a good fit.

I loved this shoe for my husband. It was very like the fabric shoes he has had in the past. But he would not keep, due to the cost - wah, wah!

I love boat shoes but the laces always come untied and they are a bit too casual for some applications. This Venetian loafer is beautiful, with really nice leather. It has a typical siped boat shoe sole, but flies under the radar in brown. I ordered the 9.5 EE but they were really wide. The D is a bit snug for my wide feet, but is breaking in nicely. Great shoe and a great value, especially on sale. Wish that they came in a lugged sole.

If only this shoe was also made as a penny loafer. Unlike some Bean mocs this shoe has a hardcore long wearing sole. Perfect as a runabout for casual wear and a great driving shoe with a low heel. I am waiting for the Grand Lake Penny Loafer to come back in stock. That is the shoe that people think must be from an expensive Italian maker.

Workmanship,fit,comfort, price....excellent

I bought the loafers on a lark always before having bought regular boat Mocs... Best decision I'd made on shoes! These loafers fit like a glove right out of the box and in over a year wearing 'em, they've only gotten better - they feel like slippers. My only complaint is that the heels seem to wear too quickly. Other than that, they're perfect. Now if only they made the Casco Bay Mocs with lugged rubber outsoles for camp/trail walking. I like the pure leather and look of them better than the Bison or Allagash loafers...

I picked these up yesterday at a LL Bean Outlet in New Hampshire. I am a size 10 but typically end up in a 10.5. I put these on a whim...and they fit perfectly - no tight spots at all, but given they are new (or very slightly worn given I got them from the outlet) they will relax in time to wear with socks this fall. The leather is very high quality, and classic non-slip sole, without being too chunky. A good looking, perfect versatile shoe...can wear with shorts, jeans, khakis...or even slippers! I prefer the simple clean look. I also recommend periodically treating with some sort of shoe oil to keep them in good condition over time.
