These shoes are perfect! I first saw these shoes browsing on the site and really liked the look so I bought a pair knowing they'd be good quality-which they are! They took about two days to break in and have been wonderful since! Formerly a sneaker addict I have worn these everyday-they look and feel great, they are now my favorite shoes!

I've been wearing LL Bean Camp Mocs since the early 90s. As a field engineer, I am on an airplane nearly every week. Slipping this shoe off and on while clearing security is a breeze. It is comfortable and stylish enough for nearly every occasion, including gruesome trade show duty when I'm on my feet for a dozen hours or more each day. I only wish it came in black as well as brown! It would be the only show I'd have to buy.

One of the best casual shoes I've worn. I had a pair of these by another manufacturer in the late 70's and early '80's that I enjoyed very much. I don't know why I waited so long to order a new pair.
These are so much more comfortable than the old ones... much more comfortable than boat shoes.

For
years I have worn the Moccasins - home, office, yard, every where
except perhaps the Opera. Their comfort, with or without socks, make
them a "second pair of feet". One caveat - they do pick up too easily
twigs, pebbles and the like when walking in the yard, fields or woods.

For the past 30+ years this is the only shoe I have worn. It's great to just slip them on and go. I buy a new pair every year or so but still hang on to the old pair to kick around in.

I have been an LL Bean customer for many many years. Most of the clothes I wear every day come from LL Bean and I am consistenly pleased by the quality, fit and durability of their merchandise. Having said that, however, these moccasins are without peer. They are the absolute best! They wear like iron and have outlasted any others I've had by far. The leather is tough, but when they're scuffed a paper towel and a little water will bring them back to looking like new. The soles are thick and withstand miles of walking on gravel roads with negligable wear. And the fit? They are sooo comfortable! I sincerely hope I find them again in the Bean catalog when these finally wear out.

I have owned several of these moccasins for over ten years and loved them above any other type of shoes. I currently keep three pairs of them and alternate every day. About the only time I don't wear them is when I wear a tux. They are good looking and comfortable. The only negative I can think of is keeping the lace from coming untied.

These L.L.Bean Camp Moc's are a "classic". The style is great and they are very comfortable. My grandfather wore them, my dad wears them, and I have been wearing them since college. I love these shoes!

Fit well. They are comfortable both with or without socks. They go with almost any casual clothing too.

I couldnt live without them. My old pair was at least 10yrs old and My 8 month old dog chewed that old pair. I had to have another pair ASAP and when I bought this new pair, they actually were on sale at 10% off. Can't beat them and LL bean on all facets.

Handsome classic moc that will wear in well with use. I've worn the LLBean mocs for several years. The weight of the shoe is a bit heavywouldn't pack it in a lightweight carry on. Past designs have been lighter weight.

My husband loves them more than his Topsiders! One drawback-ties come undone too often.

Arrived with a distinct chemical-like odor akin to mothballs that still has not gone away after a week. Used a leather conditioner that usually dissipates such odors and that had little effect ... assuming odor will go away if left on the screen porch for a week? These shoes run very large and are sized like dress shoes ... required me to return and size-down from an already-sized-down original order. Now wearing a full size smaller than my sneakers and they finally stopped slipping from my heel (wearing socks). Have not had them long, but they are comfortable for around-town casual wear and match up with chinos, jeans, and chino shorts well like any boat shoe-style footwear. I last had a pair 35 years ago and remember them taking a beating in middle school. Hope they haven't changed much. Bought these for vacation hoping I could wear them any time I'm not in sneakers or sandals (i.e., nice dinner out).

Very nice shoes for some, but not for me. Well-made, attractive shoes. However, the toe cap area is very narrow. I could never wear them comfortably.

I have these moccasins bought in 1997, and they lasted me over 20 years. Even when they almost became almost unwearable, I still wore them at home, they were that much comfortable. Compared to the new ones - the width they are more narrow by finger, leather is worse quality, you can instantly see that, as well sole rubber not that good. Returning them, and will consider twice before ordering the same 10.5 size in wide.

These were bought as a gift to replace my 12 year pair, which have become loose and stretched. Although they look similar, the quality of the leather isn't the same and the 'laces' are much shorter than previously. As with all Bean Mocs they need to be worn in and will eventually shape to my foot. My only concern is how durable they'll be, but as I only wear them inside they should be OK, otherwise, I'd be looking at one of the more expensive options that are still made in Maine.

I believed them to be "polishable", but they're more "roughout"... no huge thing, but a MUCH BETTER DESCRIPTION is warranted. Although the product number (and size) was EXACTLY the same as my present pair, the new shoes are too tight; I'm hoping they'll stretch with wear... otherwise, well made and finished.

Great pair of shoes. I love wearing these for work. They are comfortable and look professional for business casual. The only drawback I have is that I wish the lacings would stay tied.

I have been wearing Bean Mocs for years. The biggest difference over the years is the quality of the leather. Previous Mocs were softer and stretched more easily to have that custom fit.

Nice shoes but initially a bit narrow . After wearing for several hours each day they fit much better.

It was difficult to find a good size, my usual size was too large, so I went down a half size and it was better, but still a little loose and a little too narrow, but I kept them for now.
