I've been buying this model of shoe for decades! They fit well, wear nicely and look fine. And when they really get old, they become my grass cutting shoes. Now that's comfort.

I love these shoes. Easy slip on and off - good cushion soles. I've worn them as my everyday knock around shoes since high school 35 years ago. Back in the day they would re-sole them for you - but I'm just glad they're back in the catalog.

These are really very high quality moccasins! They look like a million bucks, and after a 1 day break in period they fit very comfortably! I feel really good being seen wearing these stylish Mocs. They look like they cost 3 times what I paid for them. Very high quality and thick leather. I am very pleased with this purchase!

The LLBean camp mocs are far and away the best on the market. The materials and craftsmanship are superior in every way.
As soon as I saw that Bean once again offered them in wide (EE) I ordered a pair.
If Bean ever goes back to offering these mocs in black again I'll order those as well!Happy Camper

Best boat shoe ever. I'm 65 and have been wearing these on boats since I was 15. I was bereft when it looked like they were being discontinued, and managed to find some through the store and bought two pair. They last longer if you use a leather conditioner, especially the stitching. I use Snowseal and they last 8-10 years of daily use on and off boats.

I was happy to see these still being sold (in fact, at a sale price!) since I'd read reviews they were being discontinued. I've worn these camp mocs for decades and, like so many other reviewers, feel they're both great shoes and sentimental. My father-in-law, long gone, bought me my first pair 40 years ago.
Not only are they well made with thick, rich leather and great traction soles, but I swear they outlast any other shoe (much less moc) on the planet.
One warning for people buying these for the first time is that there is little absorption of energy when you walk so don't think you'll be stepping into a rubber flip-flop. They are a bit hard on impact.
All that said, I hope they aren't discontinuing this shoe because they come first to mind when thinking of LLBean products. I hope the product folks will take notice of ALL these reviews from guys who love these shoes and keep them available.

Thank goodness. I despaired of ever seeing the originals again. The same shoe I've been wearing for 48 years.
Don't scare us like that again.

Just pitched an old pair of cactus colored mocs that got too tuckered out. I'm now wearing both cactus and dark brown pairs that I bought 4 or 5 years ago. I didn't realize til I saw the reviews that they had been discontinued within the past year, but are now back. Yikes. I coincidentally ordered another pair last week and better order another if they're teetering on being discontinued again.
Like a lot of old geezers here I've been wearing the dark brown mocs since the sixties. I always bought some for the wife and kids back when. I wore them on the plane for 20 Africa safaris. They were great after a hard day of hunting.
Occasionally I see another wise, old man wearing Bean's mocs. Glad I'm in good company and not always surrounded by the sneaker and sandal crowd.

Wow! i feared these were gone forever. They are infinitely imitated, but never exceeded.Factor in the price and anyone buying an imitation just is some one beyond reckoning.

I have not been without a pair of camp mocs for as long as I can remember. I cannot imagine a day without sliding into my current well worn pair. Simply put, no shoe is more comfortable.

The briar/natural camp moc is made of soft, high quality leather with a very comfortable inner sole. In this color configuration it is more like a boat shoe, but on sale with the 20% off promotion applied and 35 bucks of Bean Bucks applied, for 13 dollars net, the value is unreal.

I bought my first pair of Handsewn Mocs in 1977--and I haven't stopped since. A pair will wear out after 3-4 years and I'll buy a new pair, then use the old ones for yard work. I'm open-minded about your new version--but since my latest pair of Bean mocs have been to Madrid, Paris, Dublin and the glorious Irish countryside, I'm holding onto these babies until they fall apart.

So, to my dismay.... apparently along with many others.... the Bean Camp Moccasin has been discontinued. At least in the old, reliable brown I've been buying for years. I know that they've been produced offshore for several years now. There was a change in quality when that happened, but I eventually reconciled with that and continued to buy them.... likely out of habit, or brand loyalty, or something along those lines. But, now they're gone. The world changes. Bean's product line has changed, as it must, I suppose. I just looked through the most recent mailing for men and note that many, if not most, of the men's clothing items feature something called a more "fitted" styling. Perhaps that's a terminology to be applied to whatever replacement there is to be for the old Camp Moc.... a more fitted style. Brings to mind a Ballerina slipper, maybe. Now, I'm excited! In the meantime, Bean folks, how about just bringing back what had to be one of your best sellers. It wouldn't bother me a whole lot if you had to change vendors, jack up the quality a bit, adjust your price accordingly, and make a whole bunch of your customers happy. Just don't do it in Ballerina pink, please.

I have been wearing camp mocs and many of your other products for over forty years. I would consider these shoes not only one of my personal favorites but also one of your signature items similar to bean boots, boat bags, and Blucher Mocs. I understand that markets change and that as a company you need to adjust with changing times but from my point of view you have discontinued an item that keeps many of your customers returning to your products. I hope that you will consider returning this item to production.

I have bought and owned over 10 pairs of these Camp Mocs over the last 25 years. I sincerely hope that they aren't eliminating this style as its as cherished as the Maine Boot in every respect. If this is true, I will have to look elsewhere for my shoes and clothes

Like the rising and setting of the sun, I thought I would forever be able to count on ordering my husband a new pair of these shoes - his most frequently worn for at least the last 30 years. I still have mine from c. 1987. Hope the Blutcher Moc and the Bean Boot aren't the next to go. If they do - look out Boat and Tote Bag. L.L. Bean - I hope you will note these many comments from loyal customers who turn to you for these classic parts of our everyday life. While I recognize that businesses must evolve with the times, there are some traditions that should be maintained - I can't imagine that this wasn't among your best sellers. I hope you will reconsider. . .

Great Shoe, bought first pair about a decade ago. Have had 4-5 pairs since then. This is my main daily wear shoe. Went to order a new pair and understand that they are being discontinued? I, as many others are very disappointed and mystified as to why. I can only be hopeful that L.L.Bean will hear the feedback from the customers and change their mind.

I buy a pair of these Camp Mocs every year. Been wearing them for 35 years. My dad wore them. My brothers wear them.
Now they are discontinued???
I am very disappointed.
Quite frankly, I believe LL is turning over in his grave right now.
No camp mocs, but I can get a pair of OluKai Hamakua Chukka Boots?
No thanks. I will be deleting your app and looking elsewhere for my outdoor clothing needs.

Dear Bean,
Over the past twenty years I can't tell you the number of Camp Moc I have purchased. I currently have four pair is various degrees of wear and tear. I wear them every weekend....spring, summer, winter and fall. Like the iconic Bean Boot these mocs have been a staple, something I could depend on being able to purchase year after year. Now like so many other things at Bean this has changed to....call it progress or just change, I call it...time to say goodbye to a dear friend. After years of LL Bean Warm Up Jackets, countless wool socks, jeans, shirts and of course Camp Moc....it's time to move on. Thanks for the memories LL Bean.

Have worn these classics for decades!! I wear through a pair every couple of years. My feet love them! Our new puppy has chewed up my current pair - but will still wear them. These are LL Bean classics!! Tried the new models- had to give them away!! Come on LL Bean!! You are breaking our hearts!!

LL Bean, say it isn't so. Don't discontinue this shoe. These are a staple and classic that I've been wearing for over 25 years. I fear you have lost your way are are slowly abandoning those customers who have built your brand.
