This is my favorite moccasin. I have reordered them several times over many years. Always good quality.

I have always worn these as my preferred shoe, about 90% of the time, because they slip on easily, no socks needed, and can be worn with a variety of clothes, with or without the liner. However, I'm a woman, and LLBean stopped carrying them in the women's version (which looks exactly the same as the men's). So, for a few years now I've had to order the men's version. In general, to go from women's to men's, you go down 1 size and 1 width. (Ex: Women's 10 wide = Men's 9 medium). I advise women to go to a local shoe store and try on a similar men's shoe to double check this, but this has worked for me. Shame on you LLBean for not carrying this in women's version! As of 8/2020 I notice it's listed again in women's, but not available in wide width. So, I'll still be ordering the men's version.

These shoes should be standard issue. I feel they run a little long, but a great product.

These moccasins fit great. The construction is first rate. Solid materials and sewing. They feel like they will stand the test of time!

As Bean tells you, these require a bit of wear to break in and conform to your feet. They become old friends quickly. I have 3 pair and cycle them from casual dress to very casual to yard work. Great product.

First off I would recommend the shoe, its easy to wear casually and looks like quality. Just step in and start walking. Great for the beach or summer dinners. Thick dark leather, that really does conform to your feet. However be warned it really does run a full half size long. check the customer fit guide. I had to reorder and replace a half size down below my normal 10 1/2.

Very high quality product at a reasonable cost. These Mocs should last a long time.

So I have owned a pair of these Moccasins for many years and I have been looking to get a back-up pair for several years. But to my disappointment LL Bean had discontinued carrying them but just recently brought them back. I was elated and bought them. I'm still wearing my original pair because they are made to last. But now I have a back-up pair in my closet so when the day comes, I will have them. They provide the best of a moccasin with comfort and the hard sole provides long term durability and they can be worn inside and outside like a shoe.

My dad wore these for years, literally until they fell apart. My husband is on his third pair. He also wears them until they fall apart. A well loved shoe that is so comfortable and sturdy. Exactly what I expect from L.L.Bean.

I have been using your mocs for decades and was very distressed when it looked (briefly) like they had been discontinued! They are a durable, reliable product! I expect some years of wear before they need replacing. Please do not discontinue or significantly change them.

I have been buying this shoe for 25 years. The GOAT when it comes to that boat shoe aesthetic. If you know you know as they say and I came from a school where these were on everyone and there is a reason. They are remarkable. Thanks Bean. We used to call them "beaners".

The larger fit is very comfortable for my growing son. The ease of ordering and known quality are quite comfortable for me as I send them directly to his boarding school! They look great and meet most dress codes

I'm on my third pair of these. When I visited the store in Freeport last summer the shoe guy told me they had been discontinued. I freaked out. "Write a letter," he said. "It works." I didn't get around to writing a letter, but when I opened the website just now I was floored to find them back on sale! Somebody must have written a letter! What I love is the dark brown leather, I think it's actually Bison, that wears like iron. The pair I have now were made in central America and the craftsmanship is old world. Please don't ever discontinue these again. I will be wearing them for the rest of my "natural" or as long as they are available.

Thanks God LL Bean wised up and started carrying this classic shoe again. I was devastated when they discontinued. Very comfortable and durable. I keep a pair by the door for when the dog has to go out. Feet slide right in. Highest recommendation.

Kinda by accident, I started wearing these mocs on my day hikes in the springtime deserts of Arizona rather than my boots. I liked it! Surprisingly, to me, I didn't run into problems with turning my ankles. I surmised that I had better feel for the ground surface through the much thinner soles, and of course I was naturally a little more careful about where I put my aging feet. After those few weeks, I continued wearing them on my hikes (some of them fairly hairy) throughout my summer travels up the Rockies all the way into Canada. Often, I hiked without even wearing socks! I got more than a few negative comments from other hikers, and I simply told them that I didn't recommend it for anybody else, but I absolutely love hiking in them. Though not in snowy or icy terrain. My feet and ankles seem to have gotten stronger. At 66 years old, I LIKE it and I have no problems at all with pains down there. They have held together excellently for a year through numerous extreme circumstances. If there is an issue, it is that the soles are not the best at gripping on smooth or wet granite, but this is something that I have just learned to deal with. I do not go mountain climbing or boulder hopping in these. I am debating getting another pair, but there is no hurry as these are still fully functional. Best mocs I have ever had.

Love these in the dark brown. He is always saying these are the most comfortable and easy to step into of his shoes. He wears them every day as they're good for most activities. He's had at least 8 pair of these exact Camp Mocs over the years

Excellent quality, good looking and very comfortable. Makes a great slipper around the house and a good shoe for a short walk down the driveway to the mailbox or out back to the garden. An application of a paste waterproofing compound (e.g. beeswax, kiwi waterproofing pastewax) is recommended to prolong the life of the leather.
