I purchased these in the navy stripe and tan polka-dot in Sept 2019. I loved them. Unfortunately my 4-month old puppy ripped both pairs apart this spring. So, I replaced both pairs - the navy stripe with the same; the tan-dot with the pink/salmon dot. Who knew 9 months could make such a difference? In 2019, these fit as a size 8, so I replaced them with an 8. Now, in 2020, the 8 is way too small, they are much narrower than before, and the bed of the flip flop has been replaced with foam that was previously contoured and comfortable, with something you could expect from J Crew - cute, but not nearly as comfy. I'm disappointed they changed so dramatically. They were my faves...

I used to stock up on the navy stripe and polka dot each year as a classic beach staple. Not a fan of the current patterns - I'll be looking elsewhere for flips now.

Where have the classic stripe and polka dot patterns gone? I've been buying these for years and not one design in a classic pattern to chose from...so disappointed. Guess I am changing brands.

Poor design. The tapered tip is not as comfortable as the old rounded design. Poor quality materials. The older pairs I bought a few years ago were much more comfortable and used far superior materials.

Smaller than expected, I always get a side 8 and these are just a tad smaller and tighter than my others.

New sandals wore them for less than 2 hours in the air-conditioned house. Black rubber of the footbed stained my feet. The bottoms of my feet and toes were black, lot of which did not come off with soap and water. Wore off over time and repeated washing. My feet were dry as were the sandals. Surprised that this would happen, very disappointed. Returned them immediately, cannot recommend.

This is the second pair that I have purchased this past season. The first pair started to become unraveled at the toe insert. I reordered the second pair and they arrived with the same defect. Also had toe imprints on the sole. Bring back the llbean quality!,

Wish I had tried these on right away, but I assumed they would fit like some I bought in the past.The upper straps are too long, so the flipflops are too big, even though I have a high instep. I would return them, but it has been a while since they were purchased.

I have purchased many versions of these flip flops and some are better than others (even though they all LOOK quite similar). These gingham-checked flip flops are too long - you can totally imagine the overhanging length at the toe catching on something) and the straps are too tight. It's as if to save money, the manufacturer shaved a quarter inch off every strap - multiply that by however many of these are made and sold and you are probably talking real cash - so I could barely squeeze my foot into it. I am returning. I kept a second pair with the daisies on the strap and they fit better - neither too long nor too tight.

These shoes practically destroyed my arches within the first hour of wearing them. I absolutely hated them and sent them back for a refund. I have ordered flip flops from Bean for years, and always get a size 8 with no problems. This year, I noticed right away that the new shoes labeled as size 8 were a full size smaller than last year's shoes. The straps were also weird and made my feet slide off the shoe and onto the ground, making it impossible to walk and destroying my arches. I am very disappointed. I won't be ordering a different size or replacement this year because I can't be sure that they all aren't poorly made, which is a bummer, because they have such pretty colors and patterns. Also, when I called Bean to get help with the return, the lady who answered seemed to have no clue what she was doing and put me on with another woman, who said I couldn't return them because I put them on and wore them for an hour. Ultimately, I was able to return them, but the whole thing was insane and weird and was not the Bean I've known and loved for 40 years. Disgusting and pathetic. The whole thing.

The foot bed would have been perfect but the webbing top was so overly roomy that I wouldn't have been able to keep them safely on my feet and I don't have a narrow foot. I have a med width foot with a very high arch. Wish they had worked out.

I've had a pair of LLB flip flops for over 10 years and wear them throughout the year, as my in house shoes and running quick trips to the mail house or neighbor. I love them. These new ones immediately bit the tops of my second toes and in between the toes and I only wore them from the bedroom to the kitchen. Ouch! The arch support is very hard and in a weird spot. The insole doesn't have that nice felt like feel they used to have. Sadly returning and keeping the very old ones.

The inner sole is like walking on a brick. Too hard. Needs a moldedmire comfortable sole.

They are very cute but I got blisters on my 2nd toe on each foot after wearing these for a short time - grocery shopping. Very disappointed.

I could count of quick delivery and of course the comfort the flip flops provide! Love the green trees print, too.

These are expensive and uncomfortable. I expected better.

Had to return as toe straps were different lengths.

I like the flip flops but the toe length is too long for me. I have to return both pairs.

This is the 3rd time I've purchased these flip flops. Unfortunately this time around the flip flops were TOO narrow and TOO short. I thought I was mistaken but I compared it to a pair I previously purchased. To make things worse, if I'm to return the product I have to pay $7. It's frustrating being a loyal customer to a brand that is now cutting corners and benefits.

The piece between your toes is completely uncomfortable. They look good and the foot bed is comfortable, but I can only wear them for a few minutes, i.e. if I need to grab the mail. I can't wear them as the everyday flip flops I was wanting. A waste of money, even on sale.

The picture makes it appear to have a nice arch support. However, when I received them I realized they were not like the picture. I need flip flops with an arch support. I have subsequently returned these for a full refund onto my LL Bean credit card. Thank you

I've been a longtime customer and have at least a dozen other pair of flip flops from LLB that I wear everyday that I can and they fit perfect lengthwise. These are off size-wise. In the picture, my old one is on the right and the one just ordered is on the left. Both are size 8. My heel hangs off the back and the straps are tighter (note the strap difference in the picture). Wish they would've fit as I love the color and pattern.

I bought these for the first time last year and really love the contoured foot. Figured I'd order another pair because I like them so much and was shocked to see the change in the foot. It's not contoured and is clunky. The fit is nothing like I expected. Sending them back and hope the ones from last year last a long, long time.
