Although nice, These are not your old classic Maine flip flop. Size up and do not expect the arch support.

I was disappointed to learn that these flip flops were not like other I have purchased with the "arch and toe" support which I loved. Did I order the wrong sltyle? or have you discontinued them?

I bought 2 pair; one for me & a gift. My pair is alittle big, wide with the strap on one foot. I will live with it as I hate to return things.

Just wondering if others have found the tread on the soles of the flip flops to be a little slippery I have had many pairs of these shoes over the past few years, but the tread on these is less than good

I wish these flip flops came in wide. Initially I bought an 8 because I have a different pair (not LL bean) that are an 8 and fit perfectly. I am typically an 8 1/2 in regular shoes. The first pair was too narrow and just a bit too small in a size 8. I gave that pair to my daughter and ordered a 9 for me. The 9 fit ok lengthwise but not great width wise They might stretch out and feel more comfortable but I haven't worn them enough to say for sure that will happen. Before I ordered my first pair I tried to find sizing advice but couldn't so I took a chance.

Of the four pairs that I ordered...none had the same size fit. One side of each of the pairs was TOO BIG, which made the shoe too sloppy to wear. I returned the first pair for an exchange, and that pair fit well enough to keep. The rest came the same way, too big on one side.

I bought two pairs of these in 2016. I love them and still have them, BUT the first time I wore one of them to the pool and they got water splashed on them the dye from the leather center piece ran and stained the fabric strap. I was unable to remove the stain. Flip-flops are meant to be worn to the pool and beach but I would caution buyers not to do so.

While it is true to size, I am disappointed in the strap. Between the toes is not as comfortable in previous flip flops. While the cross strap is completely uncomfortable. It rubs the instep and actually produced an abrasion. The strap underside is very rough, not at all up to LL Bean's standards. The sole is too rigid and does not flex at all. I would not buy these again.

These sandals are ok, but loved the original version. Debated on keeping or returning. Kept them even though they aren't the same as before.

I have a similar pair that I purchased a year or two ago. When comparing them to my new pair, the older pair has a molded sole with a heel cup and ridge for the toes...this pair does not, so not as comfortable. I also compared width, and my old pair is quite a bit wider, which also makes them more comfortable. I don't believe you can purchase different widths in flip flops, so they must be mediums. Sorry...but disappointed. My recommendation would be to return to the molded and wider sole for more comfort right out of the box!

I order a new pair of these flip flops each year. I really love them! However this year they are smaller than in the past. I wear size 7.5 and have 3 pairs of size 7 from past years. This year when I tried on the new flip flops, my heel was hanging off the back. I compared the new ones to my old ones, and they are at least a half size, if not full size smaller than prior years. Luckily I could give them to my daughter to wear, but was disappointed in the change in sizing.

I have sooooo many years worth of LLB flip flops under my belt. Since the changes, now, any of the flops that have the blue footbed, stain the bottom of my feet blue. It is awful. I wish, wish, wish...they would go back to the original footbed. Until then, I'm out...moved on to less blue stained pastures.

I've purchased several pairs of these sandals over the years and this is the first pair that I've been disappointed with. The length is perfect, but the straps are very loose and do not provide any support on uneven terrain. I normally wear a medium width shoe/sandal. Love the colors, but the fit is way off.

Last year I bought these flip flops to replace a pair I purchased 5-6 years ago. The first ones held up very well and were quite comfortable to wear almost daily. The new pair have a different bottom sole pattern cut into them that holds dirt. It is impossible to wipe the sandals on any door matt or rug that I have tried because the bottoms are so rough they just slide off your feet. I asseume this was done to make them safer on wet surfaces, but if you've walked on dirt or mud, you must take them off before walking into the house.

Found a pair of old LLBean flip flops at the back of my closet and was impressed with the arch support and overall good condition so decided to buy a new pair for their good looks. Found the new pair to be unusable because of the practically non existent arch support and the very loose straps that left my foot flopping about. (I usually buy a wide size in my athletic shoes so this was very perplexing). Had to return them and go back to vionics. Sad when a formerly respected brand looses its quality

Not like the original ones. The straps were too tight to get my foot into. Returned them. Glad I also bought a pair of the originals that fit much better.

Have purchased many of these flip flops over past 15-20 years. Ordered same size as usual and found they are made smaller and tighter. Design must have changed. Had to return them

I have several pairs of these flip flops however, starting a few years ago they changed the length of the fabric that goes between your toes making the fit much tighter. I was hoping this year would be different, but I will be returning these.

I have 10 pair of these L.L. Bean flip-flops. This latest pair runs much shorter than others. Maybe a half size. They also have a layer of some different material on the bottom. Don't like them at all.

These are pretty basic flip flops and the sole feels no better than ones you could purchase at a box store.

I have previously bought LL Bean flip flops. For some reason, these were incredibly uncomfortable at first. Literally had to cut some of the leather between the toes to loosen them up. Now that they're broken in? Much more comfortable

I don't know exactly why, but I cannot wear these flip-flops and must return them. They hurt the space between my big toe and next toe - to the point that it causes bleeding!

I normally consider LL Bean to have high quality products and have buying from them for over 20+ years. However, my first pair of their Maine Isle flip flops recently had to be returned due to the sole totally separating after limited wear. A bonus point in their favor is that with LL Bean's "reduced warranty program" of only one year, they agreed to exchange the poor quality pair for a new pair, probably due to the fact that they sat in my closet and were only used the summer after I purchased them. I purchased a size 8, and the width and length were true to size + very comfortable.
