Our granddaughter just loved this one! But the instructions for assembly are the best I have ever seen by far. They are extremely clear and logical. Parts are clearly labeled and pictured.

Just finished assembling for Christmas for my grandchildren. Best made product I have ever assembled. Instructions were the very best and no errors. I have assembled many items over the many years and I believe this to be the best child toy I ever bought and assembled. Well done.

I bought this store for my daughter who LOVES it! I was concerned about the size but this has proven to be hours of fun! My daughter just turned 9 and loves to play grocery store. We bought the grocery store kit as well and we have,many play food sets that compliment this well :) I also have a home daycare. This is so much fun for the 2 & up ages and very durable! I would recommend 3 & up however. Thank you Melssia & Doug for another great product! :)

I purchased this for my preschooler Sunday school class. It is loved by all ages. It's the first thing the kids go to every time. I would highly recommend it. It is the perfect size and ultra durable. Thank you!

I have to comment on the grocery store while I'm online looking for another item to buy for this Christmas! I gave this to my grandchildren (ages 1-4 then) last Christmas as a toy to stay at my house. The kids play with it EVERY time they are here. It's been almost a year....nothing has changed and it looks as nice as the day I assembled it - which took time but not difficult. Very sturdy and well made. Their products are my favorite!

My kids have had this for a year. It's In great shape, Well made like all Melissa & Doug products. They love setting it up and selling food and sometimes other products and it has been fun teaching my youngest money and change with it. You need to purchase the other set with it so that you have things to play with and buy. I really wish they would combine the accessory sets with these large items so it includes everything you need to play. Awesome and fun for lots of imaginative play.

It has so much detail. You must buy accessory set but worth it. I wish I had it as a kid. I bought this as my kids big Christmas toy. I stopped buying small cheap toys that just go in the garbage. Less but more quality.

I bought this set for the playroom I have set up to entertain our grandchildren. This is the best play set ever! The kids love it, the adults play along as shoppers at the well equipped store. The kids are learning how to make change, re-stock the shelves and keep their store neat and tidy. I highly recommend making this investment.

This was bought for my oldest daughter when she was only a year old and now her younger sister also plays with it! The one thing I haven't been able to find is a replacement card for the red plastic credit card that comes with it. My youngest loved using it because of the noise it made. Help!

I added aprons and cloth bags to mine and they bag up the groceries after putting them on the scanner and scanning each one (they love the beep sound). I put 2 digit prices on everything so they practice saying numbers. Ours had money that came with it and coupons. So they pay with play money. That is a fun thing to add. It is funny to watch the girls put the aprons on the boys (with velcro so easy) and bag up the groceries. The important thing is to tell them they MUST BE GENTLE with everything. I one day say one of my kinders standing on the scanner. Stuff like that gets a big NO NO. Teach them how to be gentle and it will last. Mine has. No problems after a year of daily use by 40 little kiddos. I LOVE it and so do the kids. I will change up the items next year like pies for Thanksgiving, Xmas toys for Xmas etc.

My daughter received this as a gift and when we went to put it together it was missing the conveyor belt. I called customer service and they got a replacement sent out to us right away. Melissa and Doug's customer service is beyond compare and it is one of the reason I will continue to buy their products for my children as well as tell my friends about them. This little store is super cute and my daughter loves it. I can see years of play out of this.

This was easy to put together! I was overwhelmed at first but everything is very well labeled and simple to assemble. It took about 3 hours but I was also nursing my 2 month old and future beneficiary of this grocery store! For now though, my three year old daughter is over the moon with this and enjoys spending several hours pretending she is a grocery store shopper and worker. We also have the shopping cart and several grocery sets that Melissa and Doug offer, adding to the fun! So far it has held up to play, however my 3 year old girl is a very gentle player

This was purchased for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday. She is in love with it! It is the cutest grocery store for kids and so realistic! The scanner and debit/credit card machine is awesome! She has not stopped playing with it since she got it.

my daughter has so much fun with this fresh mart ! I do also ! She loves to set everything up on the shelves/ bins. She loves that it has an actual debit machine like in store, she loves when she scans an item it beeps . Very sturdy etc. my only wish is that the buttons on the machine would make sounds !

I noticed this in October and ordered it to give to my kids (6,4 and 3) for Christmas. Assembly instructions were very clear (thankful to save angst Christmas Eve as my husband had to assemble it late at night) and the kids were thrilled at their "big present". It's been 3 days and the kids have spent hours playing store. We got the companion set, grocery basket set and the grocery cart. I love watching them play creatively and have so much fun doing it! Super happy with this purchase!

Who ever wrote the assembly instructions deserves a raise! Simple, clear and easy to follow instructions.

We bought the complete Fresh Market Grocery Store for our two Granddaughters and not only did THEY love it, WE LOVED IT ALSO!!! I read another review that mentioned the great instructions to put it together and I AGREE, BEST INSTRUCTION BOOKLET EVER!!!! Every part fit together well and my Husband enjoyed putting it together. We would recommend a battery powered screw driver...it helped speed up the process quite a bit! Every detail was SO CUTE and SO REAL! The grocery cart was A MUST! It is "heavy duty," easy to push and will not "fall forward" like some of the other "cheaper versions." We purchased the package with the money, food boxes, clerk apron, impulse items stand, etc. and they were worth it! I thought the quality, detail, the accessories, the grocery cart...EVERYTHING was up to the "Melissa and Doug standards. Our granddaughters LOVED the scanner noise, the clerk apron, the grocery back that hung on the hook, the wooden boxes of food...JUST SO MUCH FUN!!!!! They went crazy over the grocery cart as well! It took us about 3 hours to assemble and again, the instructions were even entertaining...well done Melissa and Doug, WELL DONE!!!

Wonderful toy to teach children about commerce and money. From the moment we took out of the box, I explained to my son about store buildout and how to interact with customers.

Best instructions I've seen for assembling furniture, and I've had a handyman business for 45 years. Instructions are entertaining too with the step by step slogans

We bought this product for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. Melissa & Doug's toys are very well made and my daughter broke pieces and they were so helpful and quick to send me replacement parts. This just reaffirms why I will continue to buy Melissa & Doug products over other brands!
