A great jacket that is very air permeable! Wear with a light shell if you're looking for warmth during a windy day.

Just bought my second one! Highly recommend! Its an everyday essential for me as it's warm, soft and cozy. Also wear it trail running in the winter, and find it light enough.

Mine arrived a week ago and I've worn it every day since. Very warm, flattering fit, and high quality materials, all as expected from Arc'teryx. Highly recommend.

I wasn't expecting to come across such a light weight yet extremely comfy and warm (emphasis on warm!) sweater. This is truly the most worthwhile sweater.

I have two of these. One with a hood and one without. Great mid layer for cold days and a great light jacket for cool days. Polartec never disappoints. The fit is spot on, not frumpy and not super tight. I even wear it to the office!

This is a great item all around. The length is super for us taller girls (something that I would like to see in more Arcteryx items). The fleece is comfortable and very warm. It's a great layer or stand alone.

Bought this in the dark sunhaven color, looks amazing and fits beautiful. Will be adding another hoody soon, they are so warm and cozy for our cold Canadian temperatures.

I bought this for my wife as a birthday gift and now she won't take it off. The fit is great and she loves how warm it is.

This fleece hoody is what hooked me on Arc'teryx! If I could afford every color I would get one. The inside and outside of this hoody is extremely soft. It's like hugging your favorite teddy bear. It's lightweight yet durable.

I ordered the Kyanite Hoodie in the light pink. First off, the hoodie itself is outstanding (like so many of Arcteryx products). It has an excellent and flattering cut which has room to layer underneath, room to layer on top, is long enough, and has that Arcteryx quality of being warm but never overheats you - in other words, it felt great on. I also appreciate that Arcteryx is innovative in terms of colors. That is one of the elements that makes Arcteryx different and interesting. All that being said, the light pink was lighter than what appeared in the photos. Anything that looks like it might be part of a pajama set is unfortunately automatically out. I next tried the Ediza color which looks to be a subdued gold on line. In person the color is a very bright yellow orange - in other words, too bright for me. The one blue has been around for awhile and is sold out. The beautiful new green for fall 2023 is made in the jacket version but not the hoodie. I will not get a color if I already have a garment in that color. That rules our Fika. So, am currently at a bit on an impass about which color to get. Based on comfort, fit, and appearing to be very well made, can recommend. (But obviously I cannot say how well it wears). I am 5' 6" weigh about 145, and the Med was perfect.

I bought this hoody in the Moonlit colour when it finally came back into stock. It is tight-fitting and had a very strong chemical smell out of the bag. It was a good layer to have during December in the desert. I'll try layering with it when I go skiing or snowshoeing and see how that goes - I thought it would be a more casual piece but with the fit I'll use it more as a mid-layer than a standalone piece.

A great fleece midlayer for backpacking or skiing, I've had my kyanite for a few years and it is still just as plush and warm as the day I got it. I do like the newer style however as it feels a little more supple and not as tight in the arms as the model I have, but chalk it up to evolving design and my beefy arms.

I just received my fleece. Loving it thus far. The outer pockets are spacious and the inner pockets are handy to store gloves, goggles and valuables.

Love these hoodies, so soft and warm! The colors on the website are not accurate though. The bright orange is more like pumpkin orange and the blue is more like a teal color. Hoping at some point they update website colors to be more accurate. Fits true to size. I'm 5'3" 120 lbs and order a small because I layer. However if looking for a more fitted look, I can fit the xs.

I am very happy with this hoody, I've worn on a few hikes and I wear around the house, it's super comfortable, so soft, I actually don't realize I am wearing it. It's my go to piece for hill walking and general every day use. I believe it is thermo regulating, I do not ever feel too hot or stuffy in it. Yesterday on my hike I wore it for most of the day over a long sleeve running top. It kept me warm and dry in 10c and some light mist, I removed for a strenuous gully climb but put back on, for the walk home. In terms of size, i am age 49, uk10 to 12, I wear the M and i am very happy in it. It's not shapeless but not fitted either. There is some piling already and it's only 2 weeks old, but I'm wearing it almost constantly. Piling is around the pockets and arm from friction of the movement. It cost me 180e - that's a lot of money, that's a lot of money to me, but I know I'll get tons of use from this top. I hate when I get too hot or stuffy in a top and I'm very fussy about tops that can regulate my body temp. This top ticks that box for me. I'm disappointed with the piling so giving it 4 stars. Also I'd love thumb loops- I think I the design team should look into re enforcing the areas exposed to friction to prevent Piling and introduce Thumb loops..,

The inside is super soft... looked down and am wearing it now! But I didn't realize there were different fits and I buy a lot of arcteryx because it normally has more female shape. I might have passed on this one had I known it was more shapeless. Also looks more blue green on the screen, and is more green IRL

I bought this over a month ago after I tried it on and fell in love with how soft it was. I thought I would use it primarily for walking on chilly days either wearing alone or under a jacket because it's a slim enough fit. It's great for that, but I've recently started running in it on colder days (not sure if that was one of its intended uses) and it's amazing!!! You start off cozy and don't end up getting too hot because of its wicking abilities. My only problem with it is that I am slightly in between sizes in that the medium was too bulky in the chest (I am 5ft 8 ~ 138lbs) but the small was slightly tight too tight under the armpits. I ended up buying the small because I wanted to wear it under things and now I am used to the under arm being a bit snug. I prefer to wear only a tank under it as it seems to perform best this way. i would definitely recommend this as a great all-around performance piece.

Bought this jacket in black and like the fact that it is long enough to cover my bottom. Perfect layering hoody for fall and winter.

I recently purchased the new Kyanite AR Hoody to replace an older version. The new hoody is longer and more relaxed in the body giving it a more casual fit. It is made with a softer fleece and is more comfortable around the neck and shoulders. However, the sleeves are looser and shorter than the previous version and do not stay in place. I am constantly pulling the sleeves down since they ride up on my forearms when I move. This was never an issue with the older version, which is disappointing.

Really like the bright color of this fleece sweater. Nice and cozy when I'm wearing it. True to the size, went one size down as my usual size, then got to tight on the shoulders. Then returned and back to my size S. Now is perfect and it looks really nice as a middle layer for my black jacket.

This hoody is super soft and warm. It's not super thick, it's fitted and layers well. I only took a star off as the wrist bands are not super comfortable, but definitely tolerable. I got dark sunhaven, and I get compliments every time I wear it!

I bought this piece to serve as a heavy midlayer for alpine skiing on the coldest days. It feels more like a summer weight "sweatshirt" that is not very warm. I will use it for an outer layer for summer mountain adventures. And maybe a mid layer for fall hikes. But this was marketed as heavy weight, so I am a little disappointed that I've been left shivering in a few super cold (and active) situations. That being said, it does have it's good qualities. It breathes really, really well. The fit is fantastic. And it is very soft and comfortable. For reference, I'm 5'5" with a 33" chest and 26" waist. The XS is perfect and the color is great. I'd just use it for temperatures in the 40s-50s, not the teens.

I own a number of Kyanite hoodies. This hoody is as light of not even lighter than the light Kyanite - even so that you can practically see through the fabric especially towards the bottom. The Kyanite has become progressively thinner from a few years back. I would recommend for early fall/spring and should be good with this one - and have to say I do love the color. If it were not for the color it may have been going back.

I bought the Moonlit color from a partner site (love that color). I am a solid size Small in Arcteryx, always! I have owned 3 of the Kyanite hoodies already and this new version is a disappointment! I had to compare the fabric with my old version and it is much thinner! It is also loose on me! And the old version is body-hugging which I love! Also, why did you move the logo to the sleeve?? It looked so nice on the front!! I am sad, I want the old version back :(.
