This is my second pair of Salomon shoes. Both pair exceeded my expectations as far as comfort and durability. When Im wearing them my posture is improved and I experience less back and hip pain.

Fit well, comfortable, great hiker, all around good shoe. Ive have had them for a few months and they havent fallen apart yet. so far so good.

Five days a week I hit the trails. The only shoe I will use are the Speedcross 6, Gore-Tex. The attributes that set these shoes apart are: - ultralight. - fit, wraps around the foot nicely - speed lace, for me a surprise, nice system - quick and secure - quality, expect to last for many miles - hoping 2K - gore-tex. been through enough puddles to confirm, no water bleed through. Overall highly recommend. Thank you Larry.

This shoe has gone well beyond my expectations. Form, fit, comfortable!!!! I actually bought two more. I wore them hiking and running the New River Gorge National Park few weeks back and were the best trail shoe I experienced. Two thumbs UP.

Had these shoes a month now. Worn them both on hikes and trails here in the Canadian Rockies. The grip is great except for on hard packed icey snow, when I've had to use my spikes. Lightweight and comfortable though I followed their size guide and I find them slightly snug around the toes, particularly on the downhills, and if I was to buy again I'd have gone for a half size bigger. Overall I'm very satisfied with them though.

Ive been wearing these about a month not and they are great. They are lighter than previous styles and the traction and grip are just awesome.

First wear was a 5k jog, no issues, a little rigid but the fit was good. 2nd wear was a short 22 mile hike in the White Mountains, wet trails, super easy hike. By the end of the hike, the insoles were completely destroyed and wadded up, definitely cant use them again. And my big toes were a little sore. Flash forward a week, both big toes are dark black and swollen, toenails falling off. I would post pictures but no one wants to see that on a shoe review. Ive never ever had issues with runners toe and now I have a severe case. I do not recommend these shoes at all unless you want to ruin your training season and be confined to a chair and crocs.

This pair of shoes puts side pressure on my toes. Im going to see if it will get better after I wear them for a while. I also dont like the ghost writing on the shoes. I wear these as part of a uniform a need black shoes.

These are my second pair of Speedcross shoes that Ive purchased, the first pair being Speedcross 4 and these being Speedcross 6 GTX, and the Speedcross 6 are my new favorites! Theyre great for working, running, hiking, and just about whatever! Highly recommend these shoes :)

Great shoe, I love how they wear and the Gore-Tex feature. This is my second pair; I use them to work in. My only con is the aggressive tread, they wear down pretty quickly. Would absolutely love to see Salomon make the same style shoe with a more work friend tread pattern.

Love the color, the shoe was a little snug when I first put it on but just wearing it for the day it stretched out. Fits perfect now. I like its gortex, since its been raining a lot. Ive gotten a lot of compliments on it. I also bought gray but they arent gortex. Super comfortable.

These shoes are perfect for daily walking with great support for your feet, very versatile as I can see myself using them on bigger hikes although I have only used them with normal walking so far. I think they look great, this one specifically has gore Tex so Im not afraid of taking them anywhere, and overall the best quality shoe Ive ever purchased at this pricepoint!

Salomon trainers used to be excellent for us. The quality of the new ones are definitely not as good. The laces don't work as well and he had to have trainers at least 2 sizes bigger than he normally has.

It's almost like the speed cross 5, great shoe, could have a little more padding in the forefront

Disappointed with customer service interaction regarding a return. The purchase was a gift and the recipient could not use them for the purpose he wanted. Company states easy returns when that is not the case. Good procudt but will not have any further interactions with the company.

i have the SC5 and just bought the SC6, kind of sturdy shoe, on the soles but compensated with very good grips, just had 10k technical on those and i did not notice any bad wear on the soles, i love the look of those. One thing though, delivery was within 2 days ! Great, just in time for my Tobermory race 4 star only because of the sturdiness, i am thinking that the SC5 was more comfy than the SC6

Had my new Speedcross 6 for just a few hours. Walking them in indoors. Just took a pair of Speedcross 5 off before putting these on. I am thinking these do not breathe as well as the 5GTX. Any comments Salomon?

I have two pairs second pair has an issue with the heel cushion after 2 weeks of wear

I took it for a run on the mud flat and it handles the wet conditions like a king, there was quite a few times the shoes was submerged in the puddles but my feet was still dry and warm. The midsole of this shoes is extremely narrow and I have hard time break into the shoes and my feet wasn't happy after the run, not sure if it's the design or just me

Measured my foot and sizing chart said I needed a size 11. I haven't worn that size in 30+ years. Ordered my usual 12.5. Wore shoes for one day but they were too tight. This was my first pair of Speedcross Gore-Tex so no sure if they run smaller. Returned and got new colored Speedcross 6.

I have been using the Speedcross shoe for years and always wear a US 8 so I wasn't worried about ordering the new version without trying them on. Big mistake because they are now almost a full size bigger. Try before you buy!

The shoes look great, the goretex keeps my feet dry. These shoes are a bit narrow and after a full day wearing them, my feet hurt. I got blisters on my big toes.

I really like my shoes. Actually I love them, but I bought them to play disc golf in and they just dont hold up. I have less than 30 miles on these shoes, I've only had them two weeks. In just 3 rounds of disc golf I destroyed them. I'm really bummed out because I like them a lot. I wish I would have just used them on the trail and not for golf shoes. I wore a hole completely through them.
