Hold up well to for day to day use. Waterproof is great feature ad works well. Seem to fit about 1/2 to full size small.

A pair of shoes I Iike so much I bought a second pair immediately. Im normally a 12 but got 12.5 with heavy socks. Perfect.

These shoes will be great for competing in the grass. They wear like cleets on the concrete. I'm fine with this part. I don't like all the writing on the top of the shoe. I wish it was solid black. I also don't like how bulky the heel is. I wish the shoe felt a little bit more flat, especially at the back. Otherwise great shoes as always.

I bought these for my husband for his birthday. He loves these shoes and it was a huge bonus that they came is like green, as thats his favorite color. Highly recommend

These shoes are decent for hiking in but will not be truly trail running in them. The drop is too high and heal much too large to feel stable when moving quickly. I definitely wouldn't cross over between street/hard path with these...way too hard. In addition I found the rubber to feel somewhat "greasy" on bare rock and roots. I just don't feel confident in the grip on varied terrain and you don't get a very good feel of the ground. They say mixed terrain, but it should say mud or soft dirt only. That said the upper is nice, I really like the speed lacing system, so in that regard they are comfortable. They seem well made. The large heal leads to really great traction downhill especially like a hiking boot would as long as not on bare rock. If you are a forefoot striking runner I'd advise looking for something else, you probably won't like these. Overall I'd say they fall under the category of light hiking shoes and not so much trail running. I hoped that as a "legendary" shoe they would fit the bill, but they really are a niche shoe in my opinion (sloppy mud). I should have looked at other reviews more closely and stuck with my Saucony Peregrines. If I could return them or exchange them I would, but unfortunately it seems that Salomon does not offer a satisfaction guarantee, and since I bought them from Salomon I'm probably stuck with them. Perhaps a more moderate shoe-like Salomon product might work better, but I'm not going to chance it unless they want to try and win me over with an exchange. Their policy doesn't look promising though.

This is my second pair of speed cross 6. Hands down one of the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. The quality of the shoes cant really be matched. Waterproof and durable. I would highly suggest Che king them out.

Very durable and amazing grip, would recommend to anyone looking for an aggressive hiking or trail running shoe! Also extremely comfortable!

Ive been running in this model of shoes for 10+ hrs now.

Purchased before a summer holiday in Scotland and Iceland. Specifically for a multi-day stint traversing the West Highland Way from Glasgow to Fort William. Weather was typically Scottish with a bit of rain every day, at times heavy. Comfort through the roof. Dependable grip. Flawless weatherproofing. I brought other shoes for the rest of the trip, but they never saw the light of day. Highly recommended. I found these to run true to size. I normally wear an 11 and that's what I purchased.

This is my 6th pair and they are still my favorite! Ive also never gotten the same color and they all look great!

Ive had these trail runners for 3 months use them twice a week to do 5 miles. I have size ten and shoes are great. The insoles fell apart after about two months. I havent hear back from solomon about replacement insoles.

This is my fifth shoe in Salomon's Speedcross lineup which I have been putting to the test since in 2016. In each new model I sense improvements and my new Speedcross 6 Gore-Tex are no exceptions. Sure fit, quick lace-up, light weight and offering secure grip of the 5-mile wooded trail I tackle daily, sometimes as many as four times a day. This past Saturday provided lovely weather and my new Salomon's carried me twenty miles without any discomfort. I absolutely love this product line

This shoe fit great and is super comfortable. I plan to purchase another pair in a different color. This is my first pair of Salomons and has become my favorite shoe.

These have been really nice shoes. The comfort is definitely there. The only issue I have is with aesthetics when the shoe is on, it bunches in a couple of places.

I have had many pairs of Solomon shoes. Great shoes that don't last long. Construction issues seam resolve with this high traction, superb fitting, gore-tex shoe.. Love them!

No breaking these shoes in necessary! Right out of the box, these speed, cross shoes, provide comfort and durability, on pavement and off. I wore them recently to an outdoor event. I was standing at least five hours and the shoes didnt fail me. I highly recommend.

this is my tenth Speedcross shoe...love all of them BUT the lugs on this version seem to hurt my feet. You can feel the base of the lugs through the insole. After a month of wear the feeling diminished a little. Still a great shoe.
