Shoes are a soft black leather. I wear between a 5 and 5.5 shoe size which is not easy to find. Was happy with the selection in my size. I went with the 5.5 because of it being a boot.

Wow! I have always struggled with finding shoes that fit my wide foot. I broke my foot years ago and have struggled to find cute shoes to fit my extra wide foot. I read the reviews prior ordering them, but didn’t believe they could be that wide. I bought the recommended size of 9.5 and went with the extra wide. These were so wide that the leather wrinkled or gathered in such a way, that they looked super huge. I like the rounded toe, more room, and the style was cute. They are going back and am trying just the single wide width. Comfort was great and heel height perfect for this older lady. I think it had moderate arch support. A nice bootie, but much too wide!

I’ve been searching for a lower heeled bootie and thought this would work. The style is simple and a good basic bootie. I would have preferred a smooth black finish vs the black snake but it wasn’t a very obvious “snake” print. I ordered the recommended 9.5 ww. The width was perfect and made my wide feet look narrow. The toe box needed to be wider as the big toe rubbed against the side of the boot. I feel the leather was soft enough to stretch in time but I also didn’t feel that the heel was comfortable. I could feel where the heel ended under my foot and it just didn’t feel right. I think more cushioning or a different cut to the heel would have helped. I feel I need a more rounded toe box vs an almond toe to fit my feet. I love Zappos for all their choices and easy returns.

Beautiful boot and height is perfect not to catch your pants. 10N fit true to size.

This bootie is so comfortable I could wear it every day. It provides good support and the heal hight is perfect.

I broke my ankle years ago and that ankle really swells. I was hoping these being lower would work but were a bit too tight around the ankle. Otherwise, I loved everything else about this bootie!!!!!

Wore these all day for the first time and they are super comfortable and cute. Very basic which is what I want in the classroom. I wear a 10 N and they are narrow enough with just wearing thin socks. Also the heel doesn't slip up and down!

I absolutely love this ankle boot. I've purchased the same style in black and dark taupe, and I wear them at least 5 days a week throughout the colder months with black or brown opaque stockings. I wear them with both dresses and pants, they're both comfortable and stylish. "Stylish" may be a stretch. They're not stilettos, but neither are they "comfort shoes."

This boot did not work for me, but I still give it high marks for the style, quality, arch support, softness, leather beauty, and workmanship. This is a boot that is well-made and will last. It is supportive and will be super comfortable on certain feet. My feet aren't among those. The boot is true to size in length, but sized very oddly in the width. I normally wear a 7.5M or an 8M. Based on other reviews that said the boot ran narrow, I ordered a 7.5W. The boot slipped excessively in the heel, but the toe box felt pretty good, if not a bit wide. To help with the heel slipping and sliding forward of my foot, I put a half pad in the front of the shoe. The toe box was perfect with the insert, but the heel was still slipping too much. Thinking that the reviews about width were incorrect, I ordered the 7.5M because I loved everything about this boot. The 7.5M slipped in the heel just as much as the 7.5W, but it was so tight in the toe box that I had to really maneuver my foot to get it into the boot. It was very tight and even if stretched would be too tight, yet the heel still slipped a lot. It was a heartbreaker for me to send these back. I have been looking for a boot that met this criteria for a very long time - comfort features, style, no excessive hardware/decorations, small around the ankle, well-made - It is classic, and everything was absolutely perfect, except the fit...
