These fit beautifully and were really comfortable. I returned them only because I decided to buy gray, rather than black, boots.

I usually take a 6.5 W, but I ordered a 7W in this shoe because I wanted to wear it with socks. The 7W is comfortable for me with socks. I ordered the black "snake" material because I did not realize until later that the shoe also comes in smooth black. Since I like things plain, I would have opted for the smooth, but I have already worn it, so I'll keep it and still be happy. The leather on the front of the "snake" style is very soft, and I like it. The "snake" material on the back half of the shoe has a fake look to me but seems durable. Overall I really like the style. It has a classic look to it, and it will work with a nicer pair of slacks as well as more casual pants. I can already tell it is going to be my go-to shoe over the cold months.

I was pleasantly surprised that the boot was narrow enough to hold my feet in place. My heels do slide up a little bit. But, not enough to worry. I wear a 12 narrow. They fit well. The boots are very comfortable, soft and don't hurt my feet anywhere. They are cute. I recommend them!!! They quality is nice as well.

Love these simple, elegant boots. Have to return because they're too short on injured big toe (tried a have size up, but didn't work).

Love love love. Wear them non-stop. Bought a second pair to have on hand for when these start to go. Narrow feet and they fit so well.

Bought the Microfiber booties, think they look great, and are comfortable with the not-to-tall 1” heel. Seeing some initial wear on the rubber heel after the first two days of wear — hopefully just breaking in and not a sign of cheap materials. Word of caution when first putting them on: the material on the bottom is VERY slippery until you break them in, e.g. outside on a rougher surface.

I have these in black leather, black micro, and will be ordering the red. Shoes stiff to the hand but not to the foot. I have lost weight and my shoe size has changed in general from 9-1/2 W to 9W except in this style in which I need the smidgen of width/length. In the Trotter Shannon, I have gone down to a 9W but not in Major so it is slightly smaller per size than other styles. Just go up 1/2 size in length or out a size in width (not in both) and you will have the correct size. I wear them almost every day and wore them on a walking tour in England. I love them.

I love the feel of the leather, buttery, but the top cut into my thick ankles.

These are beautiful black leather boots! The 10 1/2 narrow that I usually wear fits well. I might’ve like them to come up slightly higher, but I am very pleased with them. It is very hard to find shoes in this size-I was so glad that I found some that I am so happy with!

Love this shoe. Wish they were available in gray. I would buy another pair!

Thanks to Zappos I found a pair of booties that fit my narrow foot and were also comfortable. The micro fiber material make them dressy. I plan to wear them to my granddaughters wedding rehearsal dinner. I had to send several sizes back but finally found an 8 N was perfect. I had ordered 81/2 and 9 because when narrower I might need longer because my toes are long. I am so happy I can find narrow and slim shoes at Zappos.

Love, love, love these shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned!!! I am on my feet all day, up and down the halls in an elementary school, in and out of classrooms. I definitely recommend purchasing them due to their comfort.

I am happy with these shoe boots. I have "problem" feet and because of this need larger than my real size. I ordered 11 first and returned them as they were too tight. Now the 12 is perfect and comfortable.

I purchased a half size up and returned it for being too narrow and tight/small. I ended up ordering a whole size larger (I wear 8 wide so I got a 9 medium)and the shoe fits perfect and is comfortable.

Fit like a glove! Felt a little snug when I first put them on but 15 minutes later they fit wonderful. Wore them for 5 hrs today and very comfortable.

Beautiful quality shoe!

I have a hard time getting shoes that actually fit. Often resort to slingbacks but that doesn't work so well in the winter in New England!! 75-80% of the time i take an 8-1/2 N (or 2AA) other times in only need an 8. These Trotters are totally true to fit and very comfortable. the slight arch support feels wonderful. I LOVE these shoes.

These are pretty nice boots. They fit good and have a nice, non-slip sole too. It's a very nice dark brown too.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. Wore them for an evening party, got compliments on the style and no sore feet :)

Perfect shoe! I’ve been looking for almost a year to replace my old pair, and these are just the ticket! Comfortable footbed, extra padding around the ankle and a sleek look. I’m wearing this through the airport tomorrow, no breaking in needed.
