I really wanted to love these for hiking, but
I will start by saying that I have bad feet and I know it. I struggle with bunions and hammer toes. I bought these in wide hoping to give my feet enough room and there is plenty of room for my bunions to breath and toes to wiggle. They felt amazing out of the box and around the house so sprayed them with waterproof and took them out in my first 10 mile hike. About half way it felt like despite having enough room my toes were being squeezed together. Over the course of 3 more 10 milers it got worse. I think that the center of the toe box dips down or cups the ball of my foot causing it to collapse in on itself. After about 40 miles I get immediate squeezing when I put them. Idk if it's my foot problems or a flaw in the boot, but that is my experience. However, the waterproofing I sprayed on made these leather completely waterproof and durable for wet weather hikes, I've never had a heal blister and I think they'd hold up everywhere else.

I loved the fit but the tops were to large and made me look like chicken legs coming out the top.

These are comfortable and have a perfect toe shape. The boot shaft is unfortunately a bit wide, and I do NOT have thin calves. Because of this they look a little funny under bootcut jeans. But they are good for work so I'm going to keep them. I would say they run just the tiniest bit big. I usually wear a 9 and probably could have gone with an 8.5, but will wear them this winter with thick socks.

These boots are super cute! But I ordered the copper brown ones and when I got them, they looked nothing like the color online. They were this weird, speckly, baby poo yellow color. I sent them back and ordered different ones. They fit really well though and they style was cute!

2nd week of light work and the rubber sole has separated at the toe past the stitching. Beautiful and comfortable but fragile.

Ive purchased 4 pairs within 6 years I love the boots but within a year they are already be worn out. Doesn't seem to be as long lasting of quality for the price

Very pretty but for this price they shouldn't have a major flaw on the toe

They are comfortable enough but a little bit bulky for in the stirrup

I've been trying to find a way to comment about my purchase. I ordered the antique grey rambler. What I got was the wicker, but the model number on the inside is for the antique grey. Love the wicker so I kept it. But I would be concerned that model numbers aren't matching the product. Great boot!

The uppers performed great - broken in very well & kept my feet dry. My 3 stars is for the sole/tread - it was very slippery in the backcountry - going up steel hills, wet grass, or rocks. I wouldn't recommend these for more than "easy" trails.

These are nice boots but the shaft is way shorter than I anticipated. They are shorter than what I would normally wear.

I absolutely love these boots but they don't last. I wear them every day all day long in the barn and the last two pairs I've gotten have both ripped apart within 6 months. Very disappointing. Might be that I have wide feet (had surgery on both my feet when I was in high school and went from needing a regular foot width and maybe a wide here and there to needing wide to extra wide). Would love to see if that's my issue because my pair before these have usually lasted at least a year before breaking up (I also ride in them). Ariat doesn't cater to the extra wide girls though!!

They look nice and are very light but not worth what they cost. I wear them daily, M-F and am not very hard on them and have to get a new pair every 6-10 months. I keep buying them just because my feet are happy when I wear them.

I ordered WIDE both for the foot and top but the foot was too small and the top is really really wide. I took the boots to a boot shop and because the boot is not pure leather, but some kind of laminated leather hybrid, you can't stretch it......it just goes back to the original shape. I am disappointed because it is a pretty boot, just not one I will be wearing.

The boots are wayyy darker than the picture they show, but these are my first pair so maybe it's always like that.

This is my third pair of Fatbabies, and possibly my last. I love the thicker, more aggressive tread as I work 8.5 hours a day on concrete. Unfortunately these lasted less than 6 months this time before my feet were killing me again. They used to last me a year, I just had to buy new insoles a couple of times in between purchases, but even with new insoles, it's not enough. I guess it's time to find a new brand that will last.

I ordered a wide which is really hard to find. I am a bit disappointed because they arent much wider than the regular boots. The heel is the widest part!It should be across the foot area. weird

The boot itself is fantastic, however we couldn't find a pair that worked for my wife with her high arches. If we could find her size in a wide it may have worked, but they don't seem to make them. Ariat made the return very easy.

I will start by saying I wanted so badly to wear Ariat Boots. I have a very wide foot, and can wear normal "wides" in other shoes and boots. However, I have tried 4 pairs of Ariat boots, different types, and all of them were too narrow when purchased in the "D" width. I called the company and they said maybe my instep was too high and I wouldn't be able to wear Ariat's. I was so disappointed.

Bought a pair 2 years ago thinking I'd have good boots for at least 5 years, they have started coming apart where the material meets the sole and are not waterproof at all. They would he good for wearing out but NOT everyday.

Cute boots. Feel a bit on the cheaper side. Don't feel they will last long. They are pretty comfortable and stylish. I got the black boots. The brown ones look like they'll be closer to leather.

I love how comfortable these boots are and the fact that they are actually waterproof! However, I work outside, which is why I bought "workboots," and the soles of these boots are terrible for any slippery surfaces! If I walk through snow and try to cross an asphalt driveway, it is as bad as trying to walk across ice. I can only assume its because the materials used for the sole are a harder rubber than the boots I normally use. I love the fit and comfort but I don't think I will purchase them again for my job.
