Oh so comfortable but sent to me with a touched up scratch on the toe that does not buff out. So I rate 5 for comfort and a 1 for looks and damaged condition.

This boot looks really nice and it's good quality leather. I had to send them back because they run big.

So comfortable.. but traction is non existent definitely not a non-slip boot. wish it was better because I do love the boot. Good for flat ground but would not name this boot "terrain"

These boots are very comfortable, but only after a few months of use the sole started to separate. As seen in the picture, no real damage other than the sole.

Great boots, they were a Christmas present for my partner and she loves them. Would have been a 5* review but one star deducted for the false offer of 10% discount in return for a newsletter sign up which turns out is not available on the UK site. A further star deducted for the sheer volume of emails sent after sign up! Will make every effort to seek out an alternative supplier in future

These are to tight around my feet and then loose around my leg, crazy loose. I have a narrow feet and it pinched the crap out of my feet, I've never experienced that with a boot. The build of them is really nice, the quality was great, but the fit was really disappointing to me. I wanted these to work very badly. I don't think I would recommend these. I purchased a 7.5

I really like my boots but they're not truly waterproof. I would say water resistant. My feet still get wet and I need to change my socks in the middle of the day.

I purchased these boots several years ago and LOVED them, they lasted waterproof a couple winters here on the coast. They were a size 8 regular so I ordered a new pair same size but they were so tight and small I had to give them away. So I ordered the 8 wide still does not fit the same being too big now but I wanted to give them a try and have been wearing these about two months and are so insulated they made my feet sweat, so I thought they would definitely be waterproof, as advertised. But was VERY disappointed in this newer model, first ride out in the rain within two hours they were soaked through! Seems ridiculous I have to put a waterproof spray on a waterproof boot when I pay extra for that feature!

Great boot except for color. They are very comfortable, but are not really black, rather a weird shade of blue.
"Distressing" looks a bit like mildew.

I borrowed a pair of Ariat hikers from a friend when I went to Iceland for 11 days. I loved them, rode for days, and hiked all over. No blisters, lots of room for warmer socks. I decided to buy a pair of my own. Have to say I do like them, but disappointed on the padding. The older pair has a nice soft fluffy top and extra padding in the boot, also the tongue of the boot is very thick, could not even feel the laces. Ariat must have decided to save a few pennies and cut down on that. I find the boot now moves around more, and I had to find something to put under the tongue to stop the laces digging in. It's to bad they decided to do that.. Went from an amazing boot you could wear all day, to one you wear to ride, put your horse away, and take them off.

This was my first pair of boots - ever. Ariat was highly recommended. Took a bit to break in, but once I did I loved them. I wear them for working around our small farm (nights & weekends). Now, about 9 months in, the stitching on the top of one boot has come out. I do nothing that rubs the top of the boots - just walking & squatting down.
I already bought another pair - I hope they hold up better. For the price they should last more than a year.

I bought this boot and had to return it because the boot isn't very tall where the foot is. I couldn't get it on easily and it hurt my feet but they are very nice looking boots and seems like they are well made.

I bought these boots back in May and they are already smooth on the bottom. I wear these boots everyday for work and for around the farm. They are super comfy and I love them but I am just disappointed in the fact that the bottoms wore down so quickly.

I have been wearing Ariat for years, I got my first pair before I could even drive. Now my last two pair have been VERY NARROW!! Do they not come in a wider size? Why did they start making them so narrow now? :-( Love the boots and I buy a new pair every year but I might have to return this pair for another brand if they don't come any wider but I really want to stick with Ariat!

Bought these boots because my older pair of all-leather Terrain Pro boots finally died and apparently they don't make that model anymore. I have wide feet, and my old pair of Heritage boots were not comfortable enough to work in all day as a groom. These newer boots were wide enough and very comfortable and easy to break in, however, they have not lasted nearly as long as I have come to expect out of my Ariats (all my other pairs have lasted 5+ yrs). It has been less than 2 years at approx. 2-3 days/week of wear and already they are trashed. The suede is cracked through all around where it meets the sole and there are holes at the seams on the sides of the toes that let all the arena sand into my boots. Overall, these boots are comfortable for teaching or working around the barn but I would call them "light duty" and not expect them to last very long.

Got a over a year ago and the the soles on the bottom of the boots are already wore out. I'm really disappointed at them because I've had got yours boits before. And never wore it like that. And remind you I did not wear fall summer long. I just started wearing again. Probably, in September.

I love these boots. They are comfortable and fit well, but the back of the right boot tore on me. They dont seem to hold up well.

Between my wife and I we have had y pairs of Ariat Terrain boots. They are excellent when new. Lightweight, very comfortable and excellent for walking. But they only last for 2 years of moderate use at best. Then they start falling apart. The soles detach from the leather on the sides. The toe caps crack and start detaching. They never last long enough for the soles to wear out.
But they are great while they last.
