As someone who has ran through almost 4 pairs of Machs, these are my favorite Hoka shoe for everyday running. Consistent and supportive

I went from Mach 4 to Mach 5. I transitioned without any problems and the shoes feel great.

I found this style to be very comfortable and can feel the cushioning with impact. I would buy this one again. Also, I like the coloring of the shoe.

My Mach 5s are perfect for Orangetheory. They're well-cushioned and springy on the treadmill and well-balanced for weight-lifting. Would highly recommend

I loved this Hoka Mach 5 shoe because it was light weight and only had a 4 ml drop to it making it very comfortable on my natural walking gait. It did not lift the back of my foot so high like other shoes that make my back and legs hurt. Unfortunately it does not have a padded tongue and therefore after trying it out around the house I found that the pressure on the tops of my feet made them hurt. Putting on a thicker sock than the one I was wearing would have made the shoe too tight in the toe area. I can't fathom why the makers of this shoe did not include a padded tongue for comfort. I had high hopes for this shoe but will have to return.

Very cushy feel- just what I need during recovery from orthopedic foot surgery.
I really avoid wearing obvious labels or logos, so the enormous HOKA on the
outside of the shoe is not my style. Other than that, very nice shoe.

I have narrow feet but these fit well. I like that Hoka generally has a larger toe box but this one is smaller than another pair but still works. I bought these shoes to play pickleball. I really love how light they are; I feel like I move around the court well. (But the tongue is so thin, I do wonder how they will wear.) I also was wondering if my legs would ache the next day from such a lightweight shoe; woke up and my legs are fine.
Really happy with these shoes.

I love these shoes so much! They are very comfortable and you can feel the shock absorption when you walk. The only reason I would not give it five stars is that the bottom of the shoe started wearing down within two weeks. I do pronate and wear my shoes down, but the process usually takes months, not weeks.

Love these shoes, wonderful support, but I cannot stand the new design they've used for the tongue. It makes it impossible to slip the shoe on without really holding it in place and easily can get stuck underneath the laces.

This is my 3d pair of Mach's and don't see ever getting a different sneaker that I wear daily for boot camp, street running, or just everyday errands. However, the new tongue design in the Mach 5 needs relooked. Does not stay in place at all (even when just normal wear) and there is no slot like there was in the Mach 4. Otherwise same support, comfort & reliability that I love about these shoes.

I have heard rave reviews from friends with problem feet that Hokas are THE shoe to get. I ordered the Hoka Mach 5, excited that they offered wide sizes. I was disappointed that Hoka's wide was not exactly wide enough and the toe box was very shallow which exacerbated my hammertoes. I'm discouraged that paying this kind of money doesn't give the quality I had hoped for.

I really wanted to love this shoe. They are very comfortable and I liked how colorful they are but sadly, the extended sole at the heel was too much of a safety concern for me to wear this shoe at the gym when doing dance fitness classes.

I am an avid fan of Hoka Clifton Edge, so I immediately gravitated towards Cliftons when the shoe was discontinued. It's just not the same shoe. Couple that with I have tried on about a dozen pairs of shoes in order to find 1 pair of Mach 5 that may or may not work for me for training. I had to try on so many shoes because the consistency in quality, that I'm familiar with HOKA is missing. Each pair I sent back or did not buy had some sort of defect in them. Several pairs had different points where it felt like something sharp stabbing some part of the foot. I took the time to visit with a foot doc thinking it was me. It's not. Therefore, I returned 3 of 4 pair I ordered. The Clifton Edge is such a unique shoe, I've found no replacement. Therefore, I returned to a shoe I wore 3 years ago made by ON. I'd been wearing HOKA for 3 years. I doubt I'll go back without a vast change in quality.

I really wanted to love hokas because everyone raves about them. I did feel like the structure and cushion of this shoe was great. My problem with the shoe is that it is too wide for my foot and my heal would slip as I ran, even after lacing up through all of the holes. I don't consider myself to have narrow feet as I've never had to buy narrow shoes.

So excited to get my shoes, a couple of people who have bought these same shoes we're happy with their purchase so I decided to give them a try unfortunately, they turned out to be not what I expected. Sadly the comfort and cushion was just not there for the price of the shoe. It was a very uncomfortable run.

I ordered online and the shoe just wasn't the fit I was looking for. The tongue kept sliding down even just walking around the house. I'll try another shoe!

Only Hoka's I've owned that hurt my feet. Tongue burns when walking and they rub my small toe terribly. Have 4 pairs of HOKA's and didn't expect this. Pick a different style!
