I was replacing my Hoka Biondi 7, which are perfect for working on my feet all day, far above Brooks and other shoes I have tried. The Biondi 8 does not have a cushion any better than any other shoe, so I am returning.

Huge fan of Hoka and the Bondi 7, a game changer model. But the Bondi 8 is nothing like the 7. There is zero cushion, nor arch support. They are so uncomfortable, like stepping your foot onto a slab. Seems the design accentuates stability, but has jeopardized what made the 7 so great. Due for a new pair and will be combing the internet for the Bondi 7.

I was disappointed because I loved loved my Bondi 7s. One of my feet is fine in the Bondi 8. The other shoe felt narrower and my foot just aches standing in it because the heel construct feels off. Cushioning is great, style is great but no matter how I tried to lace them or wear different socks- no luck. The bondi 7s felt like a straighter cut but the bondi 8 curves in more dramatically on the outer sole and it is really uncomfortable.

The Bondi 8 runs small compared to the Bondi 7. I feel as if they made the toe box smaller. For some reason the tongue is attached along one side. When your shoes are laced loosely, the tongue can not be centered.

Look like clown shoes. My feet look 3 sizes bigger. Very cushy though. I’d feel very conspicuous when wearing if I went outside in them.

These shoes are VERY comfortable but don’t breathe at all and make my feet feel like they’re in a sauna. They also make your feet look huge, almost like clown shoes. I could probably put up with the huge clown look if they felt cooler on my feet. I love the cushioning but my feet can’t feel so sweaty when wearing if I want 100% comfort.

I have been a Hoka fan for several years. But the Bondi 8 does NOT have the same feel, fit or comfort level as the previous versions. I’m very disappointed in this model. It felt cheap, lacked stability and felt like something was constantly rubbing on the sides of my feet.

This version of Hoka is nowhere as good as the old ones. Stiffer, less cushy. What happened?

Midsole very I for table. Bring back Hoka Bondi 7.

Length & width okay except too wide in the heel. I was walking out of them with every step.

The sole is so hugh and white my actual foot appeared small and floating on top of a gun boat. I don’t need running shoes. I made a mistake thinking that type is suitable. I need sneakers with great arch support and cushion for gym, errands, and walking.

Hoka's Bondi 8 size 7.5W and 8W, have a wide toe bed but are very narrow starting at the arch area to heal. The upper part of the sole actually cuts into the arch area on my foot. Even tried a larger size hoping I could wear them to no avail. Bondi 8 is not the instant comfort I felt with either of my Bondi 7 shoes. Disappointed with the changes.

More narrow in the heel area. Love the style. I usually wear the Clifton line and they are more comfortable than the Bondi line for me.

I have loved Hokas for years (indeed, it was my PT who suggested I try them to help address knee severe problems). I have several styles and wear them almost exclusively. Fit, look, comfort, durability...they had it all. And so when my new Bondi 8 in 7W arrived, was a bit disappointed. The fabric looks cheaper/shiny; the fit is different (about 1/2 size larger in length). But the biggest issue: unlike my past Bondi's, they just didn't FEEL great. Unfortunately I shall be returning them.

I loved the Bondi 7 and this Bondi 8 seemed like a cheaper version. It felt narrow so I'm returning them. I also ordered a pair of Cliftons in the same purple color. I liked the Cliftons much better.

Not as nice as my Bondi 7s. Seems like a cheaper shoe.

I should have read the reviews - this is a narrow shoe on a huge, clunky sole. It looks “foot shaped” but that is the sole, not the shoe.

I have a narrow foot. It might be a "slight" foot because I also cannot "reach" the top of slides with my foot. So, I am difficult to fit. I usually order Brooks and do fine, but they have been odd lately, even the Ghost 15, which I already own, is not the same as the Ghost 15 I just ordered. I researched and it looked like the Hoka Bondi would be a great match. It is narrow! I felt very snug in this shoe. It has an odd rocking sensation as you walk, I don't know that this is a bad thing, it is just something I am not accustomed to. But the shoe will naturally rock your step. It is a heavier shoe. There were arch placements in the shoe that felt odd when I first put the shoe on, but after doing the treadmill for 35 minutes and walking around my house for 2 hours, my feet hurt. I would not recommend these.

I was disappointed because they made my legs hurt and the shoes felt clumsy on my feet. I am trying to wear them more often to see if that changes.

These technically fit. However it feels like a hard piece of plastic hitting at the inner part of my right foot. They also kind of resemble clown shoes:(

Felt tight and smaller than my previous Hokas

When I opened the box I thought they were a man's sneaker......they are so broad across the front. Recommended size was 8.5 but based on the cut the fit for my foot was much too big in front and heel. I am returning them.
