The shoe looked great and had great cushion, just felt no support

I ordered a wide width but still the toe box seems a little too narrow especially in proportion to the rubber sole. Wow. the sole is huge and honestly looks a little like clown shoes. I felt really supported and could definitely see using these on trail and road walks but with the too narrow toe box and the giant sole I am returning these.

I have been searching for an excellent walking shoe for an upcoming trip. The Hoka, while comfortable to the foot, had me aching by the end of the day. I will say, this isn't necessarily the shoe's fault. I think it was my body adjusting to having the proper support, but my muscles were screaming by the end of the day. I think if I could have tolerated a few days to adjust to the proper support, they would have been great. The only other thing I will say is, while I tried to pick a somewhat inconspicuous color, the front of the shoe is exceptionally wide. It was not a great look.

Everyone I know seems to have these shoes, and my exercise teacher swears by them, so after many months of hemming and hawing because of the high price, I gave in and bought a pair. Since I find them to be somewhat obnoxious looking with the big "HOKA" on the sides, I decided to keep the obnoxious-ness alive and bought a pair in my favorite color - pink. The only problem is that my 11 year old refuses to be seen in public with me when I wear them. They are definitely comfortable and have lots of support. I've been wearing them for a few months now, and the cushioning is still there, though not as much as it used to be. I bought a size 8, my usual size, and they are a little big - I wish I had returned them for a half size smaller, but alas.... Are they worth the money? I'm not sure. Will I buy them again? Probably not. I'll probably see if I can find a cheaper but similar-ish shoe.

I have worn Hoka for years. Specifically Bondi 7. I own 3 pairs. These are not like the 7. They are supposed to be more cushioned, but I am finding them hard (the 7 were plush right out of the box). I have pinky toe pain and the heel feels hard. I am hoping with a few weeks of wearing them that they will break in and become as comfortable as the 7’s. I hope they bring back the Bondi 7.

The size 11 in Bondi are too large and I don’t like the arch support ( I need more support). And the width is too wide.

I have the Hoka One One Bondi 7’s in an 8.5 wide, but these Bondi 8’s, even though wide, felt narrower and pinch my toes on the outer side. I have neuropathy in my right foot, so, having a wide toe box is really important to me. Now I’ll have to return these and search for a different brand than Hoka to support that.

I have another pair of HOKA Bondi shoes which have been very comfortable from the onset. But not these. I do not have a wide foot but found these to be a tight fit. Love the color and am sorry to return.

I put it on and it was not as comfortable as the Bondi 7. The outside is incredibly wide; not fashionable at all. It is markedly wider than the 7.

These shoes fit but are not comfortable like the Bondi 7. I can wear them, but if I exercise my feet hurt. They are also clunkier and heavier than the Bondi 7. I do not plan on getting another pair.

Sadly, these don’t work for me as I use a rowing machine in my daily workouts and the heel is too wide for the foot plate. OTF members be aware!!

I have been wearing Hokas for years and this is the first time they haven't worked. I even have a Bondi 8 from last year that fits well, but this new pair was a little longer and definitely not comfortable in the heel. Sadly, I will have to return them.

The footbed of the sneaker was fantastic but the heel and arch were digging in and uncomfortable. I tried different socks ect but it was just too uncomfortable.

I like the look of the shoe but the insole kept coming up and rubbing the side of my foot while running. Felt a bit narrow and I don't have wide feet.

I love the Bondi 7's, and needed to replace them. I of course thought I could just buy the Bondi 8's in the same size/width. Wrong! The 8's feel nothing like the 7's. They are MUCH narrower to the point they hurt my feet, and I do not have wide feet. I tried the wide width thinking that would solve the problem, but it didn't. Those felt better, but rubbed and were just not as comfortable as my 7's. I did not think they felt as cushiony either. I am so disappointed! Hoka - please change back to the 7's design. Now I am searching for another brand that provides the cushioning the 7's did that allowed me to return to walking/jogging after having foot issues. Why change a good thing!
