These shoes are enormous. For me there's a learning curve in wearing them so I don't knock them together and trip and fall down. I think I'm too old to take the spills it will require to get used to them. Beautiful colors though. And they were very comfortable.

The shoe was soft and cushy , but I have normal arches and the support dug into my foot. It is attached by a sock- type liner so it is not adjustable. I had to return them .

I neglected to read the other reviews when I purchased these, and I had to rerun due to many of the same complaints. They are a lot more narrow in the medial region below the arch. It feels like the arch support is to far back in into the heel. They are definitely not as plush as the Bondi 7 ( I love the Bondi 7). I was so disappointed because I liked the black with the white Hoka logo. Definitely not the quality I was expecting.

Shoes fit was comfortable and true to size. Didn't like the base was to wide felt like I was wearing clown shoes.

They did not fit much to big! I returned them on Monday January 16th at UPS drop off still waiting a refund please!

First time trying this brand. Heard great reviews but the arch cut into the side of my foot and was very uncomfortable. Immediately went back into the box.

I have a narrow/medium foot & I took a chance on these after reading great reviews. Love the style & color. I ordered my usual size 9 but these felt like a 10-10.5. Medium was just too wide. I wanted to like Hoka but I will be returning.

Toe box was much smaller than previous Bondi models

Hoka's styling has changed since last year. The toe box is lower and doesn't give adequate room. Toes bump into upper fabric.

Not as comfortable as the 7’s the arch support is kinda low. Kinda disappointed.

I loved everything about these shoes, except the insoles were poorly made. The one in the right shoe had an exposed edge that cut into the side of my foot. Very uncomfortable, particularly given the price.

I felt like the previous Bondi 7 lasted longer then this Bondi 8. I am a beside nurse and shoes usually last about a year. This one made it 6months and I am starting to have foot pain and leg fatigue. I am not sure what has changed but the shoes did not last as long as the previous Bondi 7. Sadly, cannot return these pair but I am going to look for another brand that might last longer then 6 months. I only use these shoes for nursing and average about 30 hrs a week of work.

These looked HUGE on my feet! The fabric around the back of my ankle irritated my skin. Overall they were too clunky. very overpriced imho. REALLY wanted these to work for me.

The toe box was too small and caused pain in my toes. The toe box of the Bondi 7 did not cause any pain or tightness.

Shoes were too wide, returning them, hoka bondi was my go too shoe, now I must find something else, disappointing

The Bondi 8 is substantially inferior to the bondi 7 in terms of cushioning. I would have returned it, except that I cannot find a bondi seven in my size, presumably because the 7 is being discontinued. I don’t know what possessed them to alter the one characteristic that most viewers value. I am guessing that this was done to please their marathoners who, presumably are the majority of their frequent buyers. I can’t think of any other reason the company would have changed the cushioning. I am on the lookout for another brand that takes the opportunity to provide cushioning as a competitor.

Sadly, I join the others in saying that the Bondi 8 is nothing like the Bondi 7. Nowhere near as comfortable and feels narrower even when marked as wide. Even sadder is the fact that you can’t find any remaining Bondi 7s because people are buying them all up for the same reason these are being returned. On a side note, DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM THE HOKA OUTLET that shows up online as it’s a scam and they will take your money with no further communication to you. I don’t know why HOKA doesn’t do something about this as the site looks exactly like theirs other than the pricing. HOKA has NO outlet so don’t fall for it.

I have had many Bondi Hokas. Unlike previous tennis shoes, these are super squeaky. Every step sounds like the soles are wet and I’m walking on a hard surface. It’s super annoying. I wore them outside before I identified the annoying squeaking. I wouldn’t buy this version of the Bondi again. Maybe a future model will have remedied the squeaking issue.

too wide for me... nice shoes

The fit was good, but the shoe is so tall and wide I was tripping over my own feet when I tried to do a few zumba moves. I actually injured my left foot. Its like trying to work out in platforms that stick out two to three inches from your actual foot width.

The length was fine. However, I ordered wide width but were still much too narrow. I also ordered a pair of Clifton 8. Much better fit for me.

I bought these because they were advertised for great foot support(I’ve been having pain in my feet). But I have less expensive shoes in this brand that are more comfortable. I’ll stick with my less expensive ones. Also, the sole is so wide that they look odd. I didn’t take them for a run, but they seemed like they would be cumbersome.

I never even got this fully on my feet. I have had so much success with other styles of this brand it made me wonder if they didn't mismark the box or something. Sending back.

These were strangely loose fitting across the top of my foot...as though there was too much material there. They seemed as though they would be comfortable if not for that. I guess you could wear heavy socks to take up the space but I certainly don't want to do that. And the soles were VERY wide which, I suppose, would make them very stable, but they looked odd with the narrower width top and the wide soles. Just not for me!
