I thought they fit TTS (7.5) but the sides came up a bit high around my ankles and that was uncomfortable. I wore them 2X. The first time they rubbed the back of my foot, but I gave them a 2nd chance and they rubbed a huge blister even with me wearing thick athletic socks both times. I might be one of the few who don't find them comfortable.

I really wanted to like this. The toe box was wide enough, the heel was very cushioned and helped with my heel pain. However, in the arch area they get narrow and it was like the shoe was cutting into my arch. After doing some research I found that others had complained of the same issue. According to my physical therapist, Hokas either fit really well for people or they don’t.”

I really wish Hoka would stop trying to reinvent their styles and just leave them alone. The soles of these are wider at the bottom which seems like a hazard for tripping and they don’t feel as cushiony as they did previously. These are very different from the Bondi 7. I’m so disappointed I now need to look for a new sneaker. Also I’m so tired of the same girly colorways. I want bold primary colors like the men’s sneakers.

Shoe had no arch support. my ankles rolls in and even when I inserted my orthopedic arch support.

Fits true to size, and is comfortable on slow, ambling, short walks . When I wore them on the treadmill for an hour's fast walk, though, both feet felt fatigued after about 20 minutes.

My wife loved the Bondi 7 but the Bondi 8 changed the ankle off the heal and arch. Had to return them. If you like the Bondi 7, keep the box when you get the 8 and be aware you might need to return. Had to go back to the Brooks Addiction Walkers. My wife has a touchy back and shoewear triggers pain frequently.

I ordered size 9 and the shoe and the shoe was at least a half size smaller. Because another brand of shoe I ordered was way too narrow in width I tried a wide width in Hoka. It was definitely wide and too wide for me. Otherwise, the shoe was comfortable and looked good. Wish it would have worked out.

They changed the bondi 8. Not as comfortable and the toe box is so wide. The shoe does not look good that wide. Very disappointing because I loved my bondi 7’s so much. Going back to my brook’s ghost until they change back.

Shoes rubbed the instep on my left foot. I bought them because I have to wear a brace on my right foot, That side felt fine. Looked for an x-wide but none available so I am returning them in favor of the orthofeet they have x-wide and fit great.

I am a huge Hoka fan and own several colors of the bondi 7 series shoes but the bondi 8 does not fit the same to me. I even tried the wide width thinking that would help and it did not. I wear my bondi 7 shoes daily to work and they fit great. I wished the bondi 8 fit the same.

The toe box of these Bondi 8’s are NOT as roomy as the Bondi 7’s? back they go

size is bigger than my feet

I have always loved the Bondi 7's but the Bondi 8's are very different. The arch support seems to high. I will to be buying these Hoka'c.

These fit true to size and are so, so comfortable. Everyone is making cushioned sneakers now, but these are in a separate class. The problem with these shoes is the sole of the forefoot spreads out 1/2" all around the toe, making them so big and bulbous they look like clown shoes.

These are nowhere near as comfortable or supportive as the Bondi 7. The places on my feet that have developed callouses hurt when I wear these shoes and no matter which socks I wear, these shoes exacerbate any blister or tender places on my feet.

The were too narrow and tight in the toe box but fine in the heel. The insole was not as cushioned as I wanted and there was not enough arch support. The outer sole was very chunky and they felt heavy and clunky to walk in. They had a strong synthetic chemical smell I didn't like.

I've never worn a wide in my entire long life, but I think I must have needed it in the Bondi 8's. They were actually painful, as if my foot didn't fit on the sole of the shoe -- something on the side was digging in the inside of my foot or something. It softened and conformed more as I walked around but still not the comfiest. So if you are deciding on wide or not -- definitely get wide. Also size up if deciding between 2 sizes, I'm 8 1/2 in some things and 9 in others and 9 was right for me. I fell for the hype, I've realized since trying other things (asics, new balance, even sketchers). It's a nice shoe (if right for your particular foot), but there are many very cushy shoes on the market now and bondi 8 (or 7 or X) don't have that magic something that the others don't that makes you feel light as a feather while running. LOL.

This shoe does not have the stability that the Bondi 7 had. Felt that I was running flat.

A bit disappointed in Hoka. Used to LOVE Bondis, up through the 6s. Haven't had them for awhile, tried to go back - not the same at all. I've tried both the Bondi 8s and Cliftons; the best part of Hokas is that wearing them made it feel like you were running on clouds. Not anymore - the insoles are hard as rocks, and although at least with the Bondis I could feel some spring in the soles, neither style felt cushioned or comfortable. (The Cliftons outright made my feet ache.) Not the Hokas I remember.

So in the beginning I thought these were great. Over time I'm realizing that they don't support my high arches right, in the right places, so I'm getting sore outside foot issues. I like them a lot for really long walks but the next day I can feel it. I probably need to try something else. IF they fit you everywhere correctly, they are great.

I was disappointed with this shoe. It's not better than the Bondi 7, which I loved. The tongue is attached to the shoe, which makes putting it on less comfortable. With bad feet, it just doesn't feel good.

The fit is different from earlier Bondi models. While the toe box is still wide, I found it quite shallow; i.e., not tall enough for my toes and instep. I won't buy these again and have since switched to Arahi.
