While I Love Hoka I don't think I will continue to purchase from the web site as there is always an issue. In the picture this color does not look Blue but when I received the show it is very Blue! If the picture would have shown that I would not have ordered.

I can't say enough how I loved my Bondi 7. I replace with the 8 but had to return them. They do not provide same cushiness as the 7. And after 2 knee replacements, the 8 brought knee pain. Disappointing. I am now trying the Gaviota 5. Will see if my knees tolerate this style as I wait to see what Hoka does with Bondi 9.

Not as comfortable as expected. Wore on vacation with a lot of walking and my feet were sore. Maybe it's just me because others love them.

Fit and size ok, but not an improvement over the Bondi 7. Actually aggravated existing foot issue because of change in shape of the foot bed. Loved the Bondi 7 but will have to look for another brand.

My husband and son both love their Bondi 8. They insisted that I should get a pair . Unfortunately, there is a thick "bump under where the tongue connects to the shoe. It creates a pressure point on top of my feet when I walk, so I had to return it. Interestingly, I checked my speed goat GTX and it doesn't have a similar bump.

Hoka is experiencing serious problems with their black and white / black only bondi 8 shoes. I LOVE hoka and have worn hokas for years. I have various colors. But for some reason, their black shoes fit completely differently than their lighter color shoes. I spoke to customer service and they said it's because they're made at higher heat. But they are drastically tighter than the others. I am an 8.5 , but the 8.5 blacks are so snug, they're creating foot and knee pain. I was able to return them and I tried the 8.5 wide. They're still significantly tighter than my normal 8.5 whites!!! I tried the 9 and they're way too big. Bummer but I may have to move on to another brand

I found it surprising that these shoes were too narrow especially in the toe box since I bought the Bondi SR in the same size and it was wide enough and the toe box was roomy. I had to go half a size up on this one for the width to fit, but then it became a tad too long. I would just ask that the company make the wide a little wider and the toe box roomier.

I was literally in love with the softness, the style, the support of the shoe but in less than one week, in less than 10 wears, the right shoe's pull tag (not sure the right word) ripped. While I was at work!! I know I wasn't pulling too hard because the other shoe's is fine. So disappointed in the flimsiness :( I have a picture to prove it but it doesn't look like the reviews support images.

I would not buy this shoe again because it's stiff. Strange I love the Hoka Clifton model sneaker and feels wonderful and like walking on a cloud but Bondi 8 is heavier shoe and sole is stiff and can feel impact in my lower back when walking in these shoes. I don't have that with the Clifton sneaker.

The insoles are very uncomfortable while walking, made my hips hurt. Also the toe box is not as roomy as it seems, my toes hurt.

It's a nice shoe, but I was expecting it to be more plush than it is due to the way it looks. It was extremely stiff, and more narrow in the wide size I got than even a regular width on my pinky toes. I love my Transport, Clifton, and Arahi Hokas, but don't plan on getting any more of this model until they update it.

I work in a factory and this is the first time these don't feel comfortable, normally these are so and feel like walking on pillows but these are hard.

This is my second pair of Hoka shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes which is so important to me. I am not happy with the style. The toe is so large and wide they look like clown shoes I will definitely buy Hoka again but not Bondi. I should have probably not bought on-line.

I think the shoes should not cost over $120.00. This Bondi 8, pair isn't as cushioning as my other pair. I like neutral and plush, and these don't feel plush. I always remove their insert because it's not supportive enough for me, and I purchase Spenco insert or a quality insert for the support I need.

If the show wasn't tight I would really like it! It has given me blisters and I seldom get them. I would try wide width if I could.o

I have to have a wide toe box as I have neuropathy in my feet. I ordered the wide but they still aren't quite wide enough and the heel is a little loose. My first pair of Hoka Clifton shoes about 4 years ago had a nice wide toe box in a regular width. But it seems like all of the shoe manufacturers are making the toe boxes narrower. I was really hoping this pair would work. I even ordered a half size larger thinking that might help with toe width but it didn't.

This is the most I have ever spent on sneakers. For the price I expected them to be life changing. I have completely flat feet and need a lot of arch support. I think these are decent after wearing them for a few months but I wouldn't say they are the most supportive sneaker ever. After just a few months I shouldn't notice my left sneaker losing support and my arch caving in. Probably would not purchase again I've had better success with other brands

I bought wide shoes because my last Hoka shoes rubbed on my pinky toes. I thought these would be different. These are the same way where the shoe's tongue doesn't line up straight on the shoe and the sides of the tongue rubs on the seams of my sock. Tried different socks but I have the same problem!! Disappointed with this shoe.

Too soft and get even softer very quickly - I may send them back. I ordered a pair of Merrills and will see how they feel - What's with the MUSHY SHOES???
I'd also recommend:
Not sure - still searching - shoes are becoming less comfortable all the time.

I thought the bondi 8 was about being comfortable, the sneaker itself looks good and seems well made except the insole is hard as a rock, when running or walking it's like walking barefoot, it looks cushioned but feels hard. I wonder if something is wrong with mine I'm really trying to like them but all other sneakers I purchased around this price feels soft painless & like walking on clouds, this just feels ordinary! I went up half size with wide and it feels true to size, I did that due to all the reviews I read so do size up by at least half your regular size with wide width. The color is really nice. I hope they can improve the insoles. I can't say that I would or wouldn't recommend them as I feel disappointed.
