Great support. Especially in the ankle area. Which I was looking for. Also love the color I chose.

Great for heavier runners! I’m a plus sized woman (size 14) in her 50s, and these shoes give me the comfort and cushioning I need to keep running. I felt no knee or ankle pain, which I would normally experience in a pair made by the brand I’ve been running in for decades. (Hint: swoosh). Sizing was true to fit and B width was normal. No need to go up or down.

I have been wearing Hoka Bondi 7 shoes for years, when I saw they had come out with the Bondi 8 I had to try them. The new style has more cushion and comfort (I didn’t that could be possible). The only thing I would mention is that because of the new design, a narrower fit, I am now wearing a half size up. You will love these shoes!

I’m an Asics girl but I heard so much about Hoka I had to try them. I’m normally a size 11. Ended up with a 10.5. It at first felt a little tight but the 11 was just too big. The arches were off and only the right shoe felt like the outside of my foot was getting caught between the side and the insert. I kept them and wore them on vaca but it wasn’t a great experience. I went back to my Asics. Unfortunately I developed some foot issues with that shoe and needed some more stability so I reluctantly went back to the Hoka w the same issues. (It is a VERY stable shoe.) Then I got the great idea to put the Asics insert in the Hoka shoe and then the magic happened! It’s like a completely different shoe! It felt true to size, the side didn’t bother my foot and the arch was perfect!! Now I love my Hokas (with the Asics insert) and my foot issues are resolving.

I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because the sizing is not consistent across styles I purchased a clifton in a 9 wide locally and ordered a 9 wide in the Bondi. The bondi is not as wide nor as long as the Clifton. They fit fine as long as I wear thin socks.

I only wear the shoes for work. I'm still breaking them in. I only work three days a week. So to be fair, I haven't given them the best shot yet. They appear to be comfortable to some degree but like I said, I have not broken them in yet so I will write another review after that but so far they're more comfortable than the other shoes I was wearing

I am a full-time CNA who works a truly busy shift. I'm on my feet much of the shift. At the end of my shift, i have noticed that my feet feel good with no soreness. My body feels less physically stressed during each day's shift. The Bondi 8 (wide), for me, is a game changer. These are surely 8 hour shoes.

The fit and size are true and just like the BONDI 7 however the width of the sole and the outside of the shoe is so wide they are uncomfortible to walk in for my wife.

I am a nurse and am on my feet all day long. I have tried all kinds of shoes, from Nike, NB, Adidas, Sketcher's, ect...and none of them come close to the Hoka Boni 8. It has great cushion & support. My feet, legs and back do not hurt at the end of the day. The only reason I didn't give a 5 Star review, is Hoka doesn't offer very many colors in the Wide Width. I wish they would offer more colors.

Size was good, but it felt really narrow in the footbed. Like the design, but didn't work out.

What is it with black shoes?? I have worn Bondi since iteration 6. They fit me perfectly. I currently own Bondi 8. Tried to order them in black, and true to my experience in most black shoes, they are just too small. !

The Bondi 8 are comparable to other Bondi’s EXCEPT that they are narrower than others I’ve tried in the past. Also, the fit isn’t the same across every color of the same shoe in the same size. I’ve bought these in a few different colors. Both the turquoise and the black style fit perfectly. Other colors like the darker blue are tighter and my toes rub. Lesson learned. I wish these shoes lasted longer. I run 30 miles/week and they last 3 months before the cushioning is too worn down to keep using. That’s considered a normal lifespan for a running shoe but I have had other running shoes in the past last years.

I really like these shoes. They are comfy. They fit a bit tight so buy a half size up or break them in.

These are very comfortable and cushy sneakers, which I purchased partly to wear around my house to help treat my plantar facitis. At first, they did feel a bit strange compared to my old New Balance, since my foot angles up from the heel rather than down. But I’ve had them for a month now and have grown used to the change.

Not as good as Bondi 7 , not a lot of choice. The shoe is not black. When you go outside it is definitely blue. Not happy about that.

These fit, look and feel true to size. Very comfortable, but they look a bit wider on the foot than other Hokas I have in Wide width. Still, a comfortable and stable shoe, great for all around use.

Visually - just too wide and clunky. Looked like marshmallow on my foot. Maybe black color would help enough.

This is my 4th pair of Bondi 8 because they come in D width and have lots of cushion. The actual width seems to depend on the fabric because some were tighter than others. This pair had the tongue attached to the inner side and it made the shoe tighter, so the first thing I did was cut the attachment and that loosened them somewhat. This color seems to be tighter than my previous pair but I'm keeping them in hope that they'll stretch a bit.

They are super comfortable overall but a couple of issues prevail. One foot has a bunion and other foot has surgically removed bunion. The toe box seems a bit narrow (D width) and shallow, both shoes. After putting in my orthotic the tongue of the shoe is not centered due to being sewed to the inside of the shoe. For a while I swore by New Balance but the cushioning was too much. Now back to Hoka Bondi. Hokas rock!

I have the Hoka Bondi 6 and after 2 years, the tread had really worn down. I tried Clifton’s but the Bondi’s really are the most plush of the shoes. These do run narrow! I have never worn wide but had to return to get the wide. I’m still a little torn as they are narrow still on the insole, not sure if the shoe needs more wear time? I wear these for work standing 10+ hours per shift. These have definitely saved my feet. The fit is definitely more snug than the Bondi 6 so get the Wide in your regular size!
