Very squishy in the heal but great arch support - which is exactly what I needed. The really nice thing is although they're nice and narrow (I have very narrow feet), they are wide in the toe bed so my toes don't feel smushed together.

This is a shoe you don't buy for looks. Coming off a horribly chronic bout of sacroiliitis in mid-recovery from a serious equestrian accident, I was ready to wear ANYthing that would help me get back on my feet and out on my power walks. After many false starts, my doctor suggested I look into HOKAS to help cushion the long walks I take when I'm on concrete. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but once I started wearing these I was actually able to withstand walking again, and I have built back up to my longer power walks THREE MONTHS before my doctor thought I would be back to 5 milers. I am certainly glad I bought these in black because, yes, they look every bit the orthopedic shoe I bought them for. As I've just gotten back into the swing of longer walks, we'll see how these hold up. They are beautifully engineered for comfort and if you are an athlete who likes to do frequent power walks as part of the routine I think these are an awesome choice. They've even subdued my chronic knee pain. I would NOT buy this shoe to run in , too bulky for for fast/long walking I'm finding it quite the lifesaver. I just don't look in the mirror at my feet when I have them on. lol. But honestly, for the value in quality of life these have helped return to me, I'd wear them if they were 10X as funky. This is a tool for people who are serious about walking for fitness.

Not sure why so many negatives about the Bondi 8... I find them MUCH more comfortable than the 7's. I appreciate the extra wide toe box in this version and the extra foam outer cushioning. I have extremely painful feet so the Hoka Bondi's have been a blessing for me. They certainly aren't a fashion statement but I don't care. They allow me to walk relatively pain free and that's what matters most for me. Love the Bondi 8's ... they are the only reason I can walk 3 miles every day. I am forever grateful !!

A bit bulky but I knew that before purchasing. I have had back probs for a few years and these are the shoe that work best for my problems. Providing enough cushion for me to be on my feet all day. 2nd pair.

I love these shoes. I was so excited when I discovered them because the toe box height is very nice. I have a lot of problems getting shoes that have enough vertical toes room. The first time I put the shoes on, I felt very high, but the second time was wonderful. I love the color selection. I love that I see some of the sole color when I look down. It makes me happy that I can get all this color on my feet. I will agree that the Bondi 8 is probably slightly narrower than the 7, but that hasn't been a problem for me since I'm wearing a women's 10 for length and not for width. I currently have three pairs each of Bondi 7 and 8. I have two more pairs of the Bondi 8 coming. Not a white pair among them.

The most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. This is my second pair of Bondi 8s.

I LUV the Bondi 8! The fit is great. There is a little more room in the toe area which I like. I have an ankle problem which does not bother me when I wear my Hokas! I have an outside pair and an inside pair - my slippers! (expensive slippers but worth it!)

These shoes feel awesome! I was a little put off by the width of the under soul as it is pink with blue upper it pops a good bit but I just don’t care considering the comfort. I had more toe room in The same size as the Clifton 8 that I’ve been wearing but I don’t have a wide foot. Just had a bit more pressure on the small toe with the Clifton 8. I’m 66 and comfort has taken a giant step forward over giving a flip of what others may think of my shoe style as long as I stay on my fitness game. Hip and knee pain improved greatly with both the Bondi and Clifton 8 over my ASICS that I’ve been wearing for years. I just ordered another pair in black and white similar to the Clifton 8s I bought. I’m looking forward to some white with pink or purple accent colors but these are doing what I need them to do. I did find ordering men’s in my size provided more toe room in the Clifton 8. Just thought you’d like to know.

I love these. I’m a PE teacher and on my feet all day and they give me great support and comfort.

People really didn’t like this shoe, I love them!! Haven’t been comfortable in shoes since a traffic accident deformed my foot. 2 pairs of Bondi 7 and 1 pair Bondi 8. Size 11 med width.

This new Bondi 8 is even better than the Bondi 7 which I love! Great support and I wear between a narrow and medium. Anyone with narrow feet can fit into this.

They fit perfectly. They are just as cute as the picture showed. They feel good to walk in.

They have a lot of cushion and support. I stand 9 to 10 hours a day and my feet are not tired at the end of the day.

I had to order a wide in the Bondi 8. The pair I ordered first were very narrow.

These shoes are the best! They are extremely comfortable, like you're walking on a cloud.

Like walking on a cloud. I have been committed to HOKAs for awhile. This is my first pair of Bondi 8. They were perfect right out of the box.

These shoes are great for someone who needs a little room in the toebox. They’re very supportive and I can stand on my feet all day long. I had knee surgery last year, and also a fairly bad ankle sprain- HOKA is the only brand that allows me to live my life without any pain and comfortably.
