After asking many people their opinion, I took the leap and spent the money. Unfortunately it did not help my feet/legs hurt any less while working as a cashier. There's tons of cushioning between my foot and the floor but doesn't seem to have enough cushion in the ball of the foot.

The absolute best shoes that I have ever had! Reduced my foot and ankle pain to almost normal levels.

Tried the EEEE and it gives me great space, exceedingly comfortable and provides great support and cushioning all day.

I have to leave the front lace section pretty loose in order to make my toes feel comfortable, but yet I have a narrow foot. The right shoe for some reason pinches just in front of my heel on the lower side of my foot and creates a blister. I will probably have to return.

I splurged and bought these shoe's thinking they would be as comfortable as they look. WOW! Was I wrong!! Save yourself $30-$50 and buy a pair of Brooks. The Brooks are SO much more comfortable it's not even close!! Worst part of this is since I bought them at a local authorized retailer, Hoka will not give my money back!!! I guess the shoes I bought weren't made at the same place as the ones sold online. Go figure. So, now I'm stuck with an VERY expensive pair of shoes that are so uncomfortable I can't wear them!! I wouldn't give you $50 for pair of Bondi 8's!! So disappointed in the product and customer service from Hoka!!

I had to return one pair of HOKA shoes because of holes being worn out in the back of the shoe where my heel rubs. I was able to return the shoes and HOKA gave me a credit to buy another pair. I have had this pair for a few months now and am experiencing the same issue. I walk anywhere from 5-8 miles a day. I would think that shoes as expensive as the HOKAs are would last a bit longer than a few months. I would return these, but they are past my 30 days.

The wide was too narrow for me in the toe box. Hate the bouncy feel when walking. Disappointed overall.

I returned the shoes because they didn't fit well. Not wide enough. HOKA confirmed the return on Feb 9. Now HOKA wants to know how I liked the shoes. Your divisions need to communicate between themselves. I am waiting to see if I receive a credit on my credit card for the returned shoes.

I loved bondi 7 , when I ordered the bondi8 was sent 2e instead of wide. I think that was where the discomfort came in.

Brought 1 pair. Size to small. Sent back. Got another pair wider. Still small. Now stuck with a great shoe that I stil can't wear. Worn 3 times. Can I return for a double wide pair?

I wanted to like these, after a couple of weeks they started to hurt my feet. I use these for walking not running and they are 2E. What I don't understand is you pay high dollar for Hoka's and after a month or so you have to purchase new inserts because the inserts that come in the shoe ain't worth a darn. They are thin as a dime. Now I have spend another $70 for inserts. This will be the last pair I'll buy!

I bought these shoes due to recovery from Achilles tendinitis, the back of the shoe kept rubbing against the Achilles and heal which irritated my foot which enflames it, I have to pull my foot halfway out the shoe to calm it, smell arose a day after use, in which I have to use powder to defuse the smell, I'm a 13 EEEE wide, was told 14EEEE would do, it does but the treatment still stands, I only wear to work, cleaning due to smells, but still irritates the Achilles in which I again have to pull foot out during the day. Sometimes if eel like I'm wearing clown shoes and did fall down 3 steps due to the width part I assume, but ok.

My previous pair of running shoes were Bondi 6s which lasted over 2 years with the tougher wear pads on the bottom of the sole getting slick but still intact. The Bondi 8s I bought have about 4 months and only 200 to 300 miles of running on them and some of these pads are already gone, with the last one delaminating from the foam sole, and the rest aren't far behind. I loved the Bondi 6, but the Bondi 8s are a disappointment

I am a fairly heavy runner (200 lbs, 5'11", 51 years old). I run almost every day between 4-6 miles per day and have been wearing the Hoka Bondi for years now. I usually switch them out at around 400 miles. When it came time to change a while back I upgraded to the latest, which was an 8.not a fan. To me, they felt clunky and a bit harder than previous models. After each run I always felt tired and struggled more than normal. I thought it was just me so I pushed along. Recently when it came time to change out, I bought the 7 to see if it was just me. It was literally like night and day, felt like myself again. Hopefully the designers are reading and don't put out a 9 that is similar to the 8 because I will either have to buy the 7 again or try another brand.

These run crazy narrow in the toe box but feel fine everywhere else.. and for someone who's never had an issue with shoes being too narrow in the past this is a big surprise. The outside of both of my big toes always get blisters when I run in these. Ive tried adjusting how tight or loose they are but nothing helps. I dont have this issue with the Clifton edges, Bondi X, Carbon X, or the Rocket X.. Only these. Two stars because the foam is comfy and the ride is stable. Overall a hate wearing them on my runs and now they are only used on rainy runs or whenever I think my shoes might get dirty and I dont want to dirty a more comfortable pair.

Since 2017, I wore out 2 pairs of Arahi shoes that I used to ruck 2 half Marathons with a 20 pound pack. I replaced them with Arahi 4 shoes, but the Arahi 4 is not as well designed as the original Arahi shoes. The sole is an inferior design (less curvature) & the upper shoe wore out much sooner. I am trying the Bondi 8 because I need a durable upper and that same cushioned rocking sensation the Arahi shoes gave me. But, the Bondi 8 shoes run long. My 12.5 (US) are noticeably longer than my 12.5 Arahi or Arahi 4 shoes.

I did not like how the Bondi 8 fit. I could feel the edges of the padding on the sides of my feet. I also did not like the color choices. I bought two pairs and sent them both back. I bought the Bondi 7 from another dealer and am once again very happy with the model. Hoka does have a great no-hassle return policy!

I really wanted the Bondi 8 to work for me. My daughter won't wear anything but the Bondi for running and training. The cushion and stability are great. However I had to send them back as there was too much pinching in the forefoot. They are not as wide as a New Balance or Brooks 4E. Fix that problem and I'll join the Hoka fam!
