The wide width is very uncomfortable due to the decorative side curving inwards. Digs into your feet. Disappointed but the return process was vey simple.

I am a big man, 250# with flat feet. I do use insert orthodic. The shoe was comfortable but the sole was TOO soft, believe it or not. I need a sturdy sole for walking outdoors for my work. I am an picnic caterer for very large groups

The Bondi 8 shoe is a whole size smaller than the Bondi 7 and much tighter across the foot.

Was expecting MUCH more from these shoes for their price. The shoes were killing my feet by the end of my first day with them. They are also VERY noisy to walk in. They make a sound that sounds like the rubber is sticking to the floor but that's NOT the case.

I purchased the Bondi 8 hoping to lower the pain I suffer in the bottoms of my feet. I work in the field of Audio Video technology and am often on ladders or in rafters. My hope was to have a lightweight shoe that offered improved cushioning and protection in that environment. I ordered the same size shoe as the Merrells and skechers that I have worn for years. Once I received these shoes I loosened the laces considerably and wore them for only 4 hours then switched to my Skechers for 2 or 3 hours then back to the Hokas for a short while. The next day I wore them for the whole day (non-working environment). The third day I didn't wear them at all as it was a Sunday. The following day I had scheduled some service calls not involving any ladder or rafter work, so I wore them all day. When I arrived home the bottoms of my feet hurt as badly as if I had been on a ladder all day... Additionally, I never felt any freedom or acceptable comfort in my instep. It is as if these shoes are a half size too small...

The shoes are breaking down muck quiet from the first pair I ever bought. My last pair we're always squeaking when I would walk. I hope they improve the quality soon or I will have to start wearing a different shoe.

I've owned three pairs of Hokas and always felt they were the wrong recommended size. The web site and online rep said an 11 would be my size so that's what I purchased. Unfortunately after buying and wearing them, this is not true and I'm past the 30 day return timeframe. I recently purchased a10.5 pair and they felt much better. I'm disappointed Hoka's recommendation was inaccurate and even more so not being able to exchange them for the actual size needed.

While I applaud the shape and fit of the shoe itself, the sole leaves much to be desired. It's so springy that I feel as if my gait is unstable all of the time. Furthermore, it does not fit the shape of the bottom of my foot, leading to the outside edge of my foot hurting over time. I opted to keep them as a nice shoe to use sparingly, but I originally purchased them for working as a nurse.

These have been my go to shoes for years. However, changes to the Bondi 7 and Bondi 8 have these shoes feeling completely different. Even buying a wide pair, the shoes are digging into my arches and the toe box is too tight. Additionally, changes to the materials in the soles have them wearing out in half the time. I have gone through 5 pairs of the 7 and 8 models and each of them literally has a hole dug out of the sole at the ball of my foot by 200-225 miles. It's crazy. I've never seen anything like it in 30 years of buying running shoes. Unfortunately, I'll be looking for a new shoe. The picture below is after only 98 miles.

I was hoping for lush cushioning and comfort. Quality was much better than other brands such as Gravity Defier.

The inside edge of the insole is very tall and stiff. It would dig into the side of my foot unlike any other shoe. I had to return them as they were too uncomfortable to wear at all.

Going back to the regular HOKA's I bought previously. I have purchased many HOKA's and this is the first one that I am very disappointed in.

I loved my Bondi 6 & 7s. SKIP BONDI 8! I have super wide feet and toes. It's a Huge disappointment not to include more room, but instead less, for the toes both height of the box and width. The wide and extra wide are merely a bit wider, but the toes are more pointed and not as high allowing little room for movement of toes even with a longer length. The ankle Walls are shorter. The finger loop to pull on the sneaker, is narrower and impossible to use if you have a bigger finger. The tongue is attached by mesh, which has little give, on ONE side ONLY to the bottom side under the insert. This makes the tongue shift and Fall to that side and not stay in the center. VERY ANNOYING.
I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THESE SNEAKERS. If your feet are wide usually other parts of your foot are bigger as well. Wake up HOKA, I'm moving ON TO TRY ANOTHER BRAND.

Walking.too many issues to go into in writingbut one is your return method that has me not wanting to trudge back to the long line at the post office to return both pair for a replacement. I have a shipping department at work for FedX and UPS and if I could return and not have to pay I would make efforts to get shoes that are right. Been a pain and very expensive and time consuming.

Thought these would be even better than the Clifton 9.but nope. They may cost more, but definitely not more comfortable. They appear to have more cushion than the Clifton 9 but they are "harder". Not impressed.

Was very excited to try these out and wear them on vacation after hearing and reading so many positive reviews. However was very disappointed when I received them, and tried them on and discovered HOKAs extra wide Sz 12 are not near as wide as New Balance 990s extra wide size 12. The HOKAs were very narrow feeling and I could tell right away my wide feet were not going to work in these shoes. Shoes look and feel well made, just for those people with a bit narrower feet I guess.
Even though the Product ended up not being a fit for me, Zappos service level was unmatched. The Zappos associate “Jenny from Vegas area” was fantastic and went above and beyond the standard service level. She was exceptional and did all she could to help expedite my order for arrival before my family and I left for vacation. Zappos should count themselves lucky to have such a customer service champion on their team. Jenny was fantastic!

I bought this pair of shoes to ease the foot pain I have from work. I work in the service industry and am on my feet for upwards of 8 hours a day. At first I bought these shoes and they were fantastic. I have been wearing them to work for the last month, but as of recently they have been giving me major blistering on my toes. I first thought that this was a result of the shoes still being needed to break in, but I have been getting blisters for over a week now and they don't seem to be getting better. Overall I'm sure the shoe is good as it works for other people, but its just too expensive to justify getting these terrible blistering pains.

These were recommended by my orthopedics to help me with a dropped arch. I use them for work. While the arch support does work as advertised, I find the fit to be too roomy in the width, and they DO NOT BREATHE! My feet are soaking wet at the end of the day. I'd really like to say I'm happy with these but you have me searching for another option.
