This shoe, though a $E is more narrow than another model by Hokka that is 2E. Makes no sense, though I am sure they can explain, though they do not make this clear while shopping. I have worn the shoes twice, so it is too late to return, but after wearing for a couple of hours I can feel the plastic molded footbed on the sides of my feet. They feel like plastic, they are uncomfortable and the black is actually navy bluish purple.

The shoe "wide" however it still was too narrow
Unfortunately I wear the shoe and now can no return
Waste of money
Great shoe but sizing is not working for me.

The bondi 8 feels like a high quality shoe but I've found that it runs narrow. The center of my foot hangs over on the inside causing the edge to dig into my arch. I went to order the wide but was very disappointed to find that the anthracite/castlerock isn't even offered in wide (along with a few other colors I was willing to settle for). I was really excited to try this brand and fell in love with the look/colors of this shoe in person, so now out of annoyance I'm not willing to settle for one that doesn't look as nice to me.

I find the shoe difficult to get on the tongue gets lost and the back of the shoe flips inside when I slide my foot in. Once on and the tongue pulled up and heel pulled out the shoe is very very comfortable! I got the shoe at the recommendation from a friend that just had foot surgery. I got this shoe to avoid foot surgery

Something has changed with the Bondi series. They are too narrow and much stiffer than previous editions. This is the second pair that I have tried on and they both put pressure on the outside of my left foot in exactly the same place. I bought previous versions due to the soft nature of the sole, particularly in the ball of the foot due to an old injury that has not left much cartilage. I can no longer wear the Bondi series and have switched to the NewBalance Freshform X More v 4's.

Hoka promised better support. The shoes are cushiony , but do not have any better arch support than many other brands I have tried. Some others had Better arch support than Hoka and were 25% the price. I continue to wear them as a friend said they get better with time, but two weeks in I am unimpressed.

After wearing the shoes for several hours on just a couple of days I am experiencing heel pain which doesn't normally occur with other shoes I wear.

Bought these since the Bondi 7s are no more. I need x-wide shoes and these are the only ones in stock. Wore them for two days and are the most uncomfortable Hokas I've owned. measured the with alongside my Bondi 7s and the 8s are at least a 1/4' smaller! Disappointed that a x-wide feels like a regular shoe.

The Bondi 8 I purchased were returned because they were not as cushioned as my 10 month old Bondi 7's. I put an 8 on one foot and a 7 on the other, the heel on the 8 was significantly stiffer. Not sure if it was a design change or an accidentally fluctuation in the durometer of the sole material.

Shoe was extremely cushioning. Had to return however due to width issues. This particular shoe in a Medium or average width runs very wide. Maybe due to this issue it felt as if there was no arch support.

Size was right fit ok. Item had defect factory wanted me to pay to return. Fabric separated from sole. The inner cushion also failed on my second pair I purchased after they would not honor the first defective pair. Worst customer service ever HOKA is a joke,

This is my 4th pair of bondi 8's, first time buying direct from Hoka. Doesn't matter though where I buy it they all fit differently. This pair is not near as comfortable as my last pair. The sole seems to be much firmer. I have noticed inconsistency with each pair I have bought. 2 fit really well and feel super supportive and soft cushion and the other two not so much, on the other two, the back of the heel support digs into my ankle and they feel much firmer and more narrow than the others. Don't really want to send them back either for another pair as out of the 4 I have gotten and use they all fit slightly different. At this price point I would expect some consistency. . All are 8.5 wide.

You removed 1 layer of plush
My Podiatrist suggested these. This is my 4th pair
You changed the sneaker. Not nearly as easy on my feet
Also the laces on my left foot were too short to tie them
BTW this is the 2nd time you asked my survey
When do you do something?

this shoe is over rated, my foot leans to the far right and far left respectively, and squeaks when I and walking through the halls.

The shoes have comfortable soles with lots of cushion. I have big feet. 15EE kind of big. I ordered and received 15EE, but these shoes seem small. The shoe does not appear to be built for larger feet. The toe box is too small and makes my toes feel squished together - long walks become uncomfortable.

Excellent shoe but the tongue-stays, which keep the tongue from moving around, have fabric that rubs on the inside of the eva sole, creating a constant scrunching/squeaking sounds with every step or even the slightest shift in weight. I'm 5'9" and 140lbs. For some I guess this is not a deal breaker but for a premium running shoe, I think this is unacceptable.

I like the comfort of the shoe but the shoe feels too narrow and the inside of my foot presses against the shoe which hurts after a short while

I got my pair fairly quickly however I sent my shoes back since they were giving me blisters. I'm still expecting the replacements but it's been over two weeks and I've heard nothing back from them.

The bondi 8 has a narrower toe box than the bondi 7. Not good for someone 4E width

Purchased my first pair of Hoka shoes based on all the positive reviews I'd read online.
Their extra wide, or 4E shoes are not, in fact, extra wide. They are much more narrow than most other brands 4Es I have worn or tried on. Even going a half size larger did not resolve the narrow width of the shoes.

Bondi hurt my left arch. I also bought Clifton and didn't have that problem with Clifton. Love that there are a lot of color choices. Fast shipping.

The cushioning is alright but the way my foot was in so much pain after a 12-hour shift was insane! The arch support is very hostile and causes sharp pains as it's very stiff! had my foot measured and even tried around 6 different sizes to make sure the 11.5 2E was good for me. These are worse than working an 8 to 12-hour shift in Jordans! And no matter what width or size my foot always shifted around and didn't feel secure...
