The left shoe fits my foot perfectly with one sock. With one sock, my right foot slips in the shoe, particularly when going up hill. With a second sock, it feels like it fits better, but still slips going up hill. I have never had a problem with other brands of shoes that I have purchased.

All I can say is .Please bring back the style of the Bondi 6!!! They were perfect. Why change perfection? Due to the changes, I can't wear these. The heal is too low and the toe box rubs against my outer toe. Until these issues are mitigated, I'll have to find an alternative. So sad :(

i had the earlier model and ordered based on the previous bondi 8. however it pinches my toes (yes i loosened the laces) but very uncomfortable. also the sole was extra hard and shock absorption was poor. returning as soon as i can get out.

Changed the design of the Bondi, disappointed in the new design of the Bondi 8. Was loyal to the Bondi Model for years, not so much anymore.

Pros . They durability is long lasting , They are very good if you have an injury Cons It's like running in 2 Row Boats you can get tripped up in them Switched to another Brand waited and waited for Bondi 9 s to come out .

Being my second pair of Hokas I decided to upgrade to the Bondi 8's. I quickly exchanged them for another pair of Clifton 8's learning that if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I have been wearing the Bondi 7 X wide for several years. I love them. Perfect fit. When the Bondi 8 came out I tried Them, but they did not have the same fit. They were too narrow ( and I was already getting the X wide) and felt overall snug. The heel box is lower, so does not provide the right comfort and fit. I hope hoka will address these issues Bondi is the only hoka shoe that comes in the X wide,

I have a an extra wide foot so hard to find alot of options in good running shoes. I loved the Bondi 7 and thought I finally found the perfect shoe, but then of course they had to re-design it. Don't care for the new flared out Bondi 8, the exta wide is too wide and the wide is not wide enough. Plus they just look to chunky. Can't find another Hoka shoe that works as well, so guess I am having to go back to Brooks. I wish shoe companies would not feel like every year they have to re-design and update shoes that are very successful, do they really gain more customers than the loyal customer they may lose?

Bought the Bondi 8. The right shoe has some hard foam or rubber that is very stiff when I put on the shoe, making it uncomfortable to walk. This foam or rubber gets softer after about 45 minutes of walking but it is still uncomfortable. This is not expected at this price point. I've had Bondi 7's and no problem. Clearly a manufacturing quality issue.

the new bondi feels cheaply made and is not as comfortable as previous models.

Having worn the Bondi 7, I get the feeling that the Bondi 8 is a cheaply made update. In particular, whole pieces of tread come loose from the bottom and fall off within a couple of weeks of wear. It's an aggravating experience -- missing tread defeats the value of the shoes.

I have tried quite a few pair of shoes for all day comfort. I dont care what they cost, I don't mind how they look (yes they are ugly) but if they worked I'd see past both. I pulled the trigger and now am biting the bullet with these things. I still would take gels all day over these things. Not worth what you're buying

This pair of Biondi doesn't feel as stable as my other two pairs. I think it might be a manufacturing defect. I am returning them for the exact same size and color.

Not a $165 shoe compared to more established brands. Laces were too thin and stretched easily...two different kinds of rubber on bottom of sole...one ok...the other very cheep black separate pieces that are much harder than the white foam/rubber. Those black hard pieces click and make noise on hard surfaces. The heel and support around the achilles area is too soft and cheaply made. Tongue only has one connective band on inside while other side of tongue flaps loosely make the tongue slide and move after tying laces. The billboard size logo and word Hoka is too big...need to shrink that a lot. Won't be buying again until some wholesale changes are made.

I'm very disappointed that the Bondi 8's I received are no where near as comfortable as the discontinued Bondi 7's which were my favorite sneakers ever and most comfortable ever. I see many customer reviews complaining about the same thing. I don't understand why these big companies always have to mess with a working formula. Keep the sole and inside dimensions the same change the outside all you want if not then dont call them Bondi 8's since they are now a whole new sneakers that just looks similar to the 7's. You lost what would have been a lifetime customer.

I haven't had these for very long but I just don't know if I would get these again or not. I seem to be losing my balance in them. I have neuropathy and was told by my Podiatrist these would be good for it and to try it. Very squishy and I swear my feet hurt worse than they did with my Bondi 7. The shoe does have a great look do it. Wish you could order a red shoe with a black sole.

Bondi 7 is a much better shoe for support, the Bondi 8 does not give me enough support at the toe of the shoe,to airy upfront compared to the 7.

I dont know what Hoka have done but they are not same quality as previous years. The soles are wearing out on these after 6 months and now they are too Slippery to wear. Previous years the sole never wore out. Also the sole rubber is like breaking off on the sides and the fabric on top of the shoe is stretching out like never before. And... they changed the shape of the bondi this year...why??? My number 1 shoe is turning into thr worst What's going on hoka ???

I like the look of the 8's, but from a performance standpoint the 7's were superior and I would even prefer the 6. With the 8's the uppers are too soft and compliant, they don't feel like one shoe. They feel like a super soft upper bolted on to the soles and the support just is not there. LOVED the Bondi 7's (wide widths).

The shoe fit but the overall design changed from the Bondi 7. The Bondi 8 is oversized so it looks like a clown shoe even though the size is correct. Very sad as colors were cute.

I was excited to get my first pair, hoped the sizing was right; found I needed extra wide; the return went very fast & easy to set it up and swap for the wider ones, but instead I got credited for the cost, no explanation, no shoes, no wonder I'm confused to get ongoing requests for reviews ?

Bought a pair of these 7 months ago which was recommended by my doctor. Felt really good and was very comfortable. However, the black rubber wore out quickly after only 6 months. Too bad, I really like this pair.
