I wanted to love these boots, but they just didn't fit right on me because the pointy toe pinched too much. I also didn't want to do another size up because I already felt like the pointy part extended out too far and it looked strange on me. I normally am a size 5.5 and I went up a half size and ordered a 6. They look well made and with all the other wonderful reviews they seem to work for other people.

I ordered the Everyday Chelsea Boot in Black in a size 9 (normal size 8.5) They were very cute and worked with thick socks. One week into wearing them, the tread of the boot started to peel back at the tip of the boot. Disappointed, I reached out to customer service who processed a return and sent me a new pair. Within one day of receiving, the new pair started to peel back the same way. Customer service provided a full refund for the boots. Happy to have my money back, but overall disappointed these boots didn't work out. TLDR: Cute, but tread began to peel off within a week.

I've lusted after these for a year or so now and finally decided to get them. They're beautiful, and not very difficult to break in. While doing the said breaking in however, the rubber on the toe of both shoes has already detached, after literally 3 wears. I guess I'll try some shoe glue, but if one is going to spend the money on shoes that should last, I'd prefer they actually last.

Nice boots, but craftsmanship was inconsistent. Right and left boots feel like they were made by entirely different brands. Totally normal to have one foot larger than the other, break in period, etc., but not normal for each boot to feel completely different from the other. Overall pretty disappointed and return initiated.

Ive got a lot of Nisolo shoes because Im part of the 5 for 5 club. All but two pairs have been so narrow in the toe area that Im in a lot of pain every time I wear them- these are no exception. I was so excited about them because they look great. I tried them on in a larger size and that didnt really make a difference, plus then my feet were also sliding around. The length is fine, its just the width in the toe area that I have a problem with. I bought shoe stretches hoping they would help, they did a little, but not enough for me to be able to bear wearing them for more than one day in a row. Im in so much pain when I wear Nisolo shoes and theyve given me corns. If your feet are anything but super narrow, save yourself the heartbreak.

I wanted to love these because they're sleek and pretty! However, they're way too narrow and uncomfortable (and I don't have wide feet). If I walk in them for a day my tarsals hurt for multiple. They also don't seem to be made to hold up. Within 6 weeks of wearing them one of the soles slid out of position and water started to seep into both boots - not very helpful when they're supposed to be water-resistant. I love my other Nisolo pairs, but I'd avoid the Classics if I were you.

Looks nice, but the fit was not for me. I originally purchased a size 8 (went a size up as suggested), but it was way too big. I exchanged it for a 7.5, but my heel still kept slipping out and the toe box was really small. Honestly, the shoe also doesn't look or feel high quality. There were already creases on the shoes when I unboxed them.... Unfortunately, I'll be returning this pair.

When these boots arrived, I was so excited. They looked amazing--until I took a closer look. I found that the initial pairs had a scratch at the tip of one boot, so I requested to exchange them even though they were final sale. Then, I received a second pair and the same thing happened. There were indents at the tip of the shoe and a scuff, so I exchange it again. On the third pair, it happened yet again. I received not one, but two shoes with cosmetic issues--the right shoe had a bump at the tip (it looks like too much polish landed on that spot) with a peeling coat around the heel; on the left side, it had scuffs and indents. I just gave up and kept the shoes. It's too exhausting to continuously return, receive, and complete my own quality control.

I guess if you have very narrow feet these would be fine. I bought these thinking I'd let the leather stretch to my feet... After trying them on in my house once I knew the process would be too painful. Why do that to my feet? Craftmanship is very nice, quality seems nice, 5 star customer service, but I have no idea how these are comfortable design for anyone.

I was excited when I got these because they look great, but after 2-3 wears one of the heels started clicking while I walked. I kept wearing them thinking the clicking would go away on its own, but it never did and now I'm too self-conscious and annoyed by the noise to wear them. I just wish they were return/exchange-able to see if this wouldn't happen again on another pair.

I wanted to really like these shoes but they are just wayy too narrow for my feet. In addition, they only have rubber under the heel of the shoe, and not the front of the shoe, so it can be easy to slip while wearing the shoes depending on what surface you're walking on.

Ordered a size up as stated in website and recommend and they were extremely big. Tried to order in my original size and most were sold out. Was charged $10 for return even though return shipping is only $5.

I really really wanted to love these boots cause I have been looking for Chelsea boots for a while that has the fit & look I want. The leather is super high quality & beautiful, I know they would last many years with proper care & I didn't find it too stiff or difficult to break in. The sole was comfortable for walking & being on my feet all day for 9+ hours. I also really stand behind & love this brand's philosophy & principles. But, I can't wear these boots anymore. The pain makes it difficult to walk in them, I have callouses on both my pinkies (even having worn toe sleeves & wearing them a few hours at a time to break in). The shape of the shoe & the toe box is so weirdly designed that it just squeezes my pinkies bone & the bone under my big toe, especially when I stand or walk in them. I ordered a size 8 which still left ample room in the toe area & my heel would even slip forward a bit when I walked due to the shaft being a bit wider on the front/back. The shoes aren't super narrow but just at the ball of your foot area, it's too tight, the shoe shape doesn't even widen to accommodate this & it's not because of the slightly pointed almond-shaped toe either cause I have shoes that are pointed & I don't have pain like this with them. I also bought their oxfords & those were worse, my feet felt numb. I want to support this company & they have some really high-quality shoes & craftmanship for reasonable prices but the shoe mold they use just doesn't work for my feet, unfortunately. Hopefully, I can manage to sell these boots to someone & not have to eat a $228 loss since I can't return them.

I've had these boots for a few weeks now and while they are gorgeous and comfortable out of the box, I am not pleased with the durability. After wearing the boots once for a very short period, there were several scratches approximately two inches long and half an inch wide marring the back seam of one boot. I reached out to Nisolo customer service and while they were unfailingly courteous and kind, even offering a partial refund and sending me saphir creme (which unfortunately had no effect on the visible scratches), they ultimately they were unable to address the core problem: upon paying over $200 for boots I expect that they can stand up to everyday walking. I was willing to try to move on from the large scratch and try to wear them regardless. However, I have now noticed visible wearing down on the edges of the toes and heels of both boots. I can't fathom paying this price for quality boots and having them show visible signs of degradation after less than half a dozen wears. I admire the mission that Nisolo is pursuing and appreciate how kind and conscientious the customer service staff were throughout our interactions, but at the end of the day I've spent a good amount of money for boots that I am afraid to wear.

The boot is beautiful. But it needs to be comfortable, too. This was clunky on my foot, too snug in the toe box, big in the heel. It was too much effort, I was not going to go through the trouble of breaking in and then not be happy. I bought a much more comfortable pair at half the price and returned these.

Gorgeous shoes, but narrow and runs small. I am normally an 8M. I bought an 8.5 and they pinch my toes terribly. I was hoping they would stretch out a bit, but the leather is thick and stiff and they dont seem to be budging. I am going to take them to my cobbler to see if he can stretch the toe box. I should have gone up a whole size for sure. Also, the left shoe arrived with a bit of defect in the leather...fine, crepey wrinkles on the top of the shoe. I love my Dari boots to pieces, but these Chelsea boots were a flop for me.

Super stylish but hurt so much to wear

Quality and construction were beautiful and I very much wish that additional sizes were offered. I wear a standard size 10 shoe, not narrow nor wide, but there was no chance that these boots would stretch enough for a comfortable step. Sadly, they were returned with the hopes that one day the sizing may be more accurate.

Id been eyeing these for a while and was super excited when I finally pulled the trigger and ordered them. Packaging was lovely. First time I put them on, one of the little leather straps at the back broke. Sizing was fine, but they are extremely uncomfortable and don't think breaking them in is a thing. Already wore them several times (5-6) and it's just as painful each time. My feet legit bled because of a nasty blister these gave me. And the sole. The weird wooden sole that looks and feels like it's about to break apart any time, and bonus - makes me slip like hell on hardwood floors or any other shiny surface. Definitely regret purchasing them.

I have been trying to find a flat black boot and loved that these were slightly more pointed than the typical Chelsea round toe. I kept them for several weeks and wore them around the house and at the office to be 100% sure they would work based on Nisolo's guidance on breaking in. I have pretty narrow feet and typically wear 7.5 so I sized up to an 8. I had to wear socks to keep my heel from slipping around but there was no way I could have taken them any narrower in the toe box. I finally decided to keep them...unfortunately as soon as I wore them for any distance I'm was sad to discover that they are SO uncomfortable! I have worn them for 3-4 days to/from work, going out, and walking the dog and I can't imagine having them on my feet for another minute. It's really a shame because they are cute and I love the company's ethic (I also own the James oxford).

The size runs narrow (should be longer if you want to be true to size) and your sizes stop at 10. Also, your refund process is terrible. Charging $5 and we still havent received a refund yet after returning.

I really wanted to love these, but theyre still so tight in the front (and I have very narrow feet) that theyre becoming unwearable. They havent stretched after weeks of wear. I read other reviews that said they stretch out after a few wears, which is why Ive been trying to make these work, but mine still havent, and since I have worn them outside I dont think I can return them. Super bummed.

I was hoping that these were the one, but the very pointy look was very limiting.

These boots are beautiful when you first get them. In fact, one of my boots is still beautiful. The other started to wrinkle and crease much more than the other one. The wrinkles are so noticeable they almost look like boots from a different pair altogether. I have only been wearing them for about a month now with no out of the ordinary activity apart from walking so I'm not sure where the creasing and wrinkles came from. I was very disappointed to see so much wear and aging show up so quickly on one boot, but not the other, almost like different materials were used.

Recently purchased and within two weeks, the leather strap completely ripped off. Contacted customer support and instead of being offered a replacement, I was told I had to send back for a repair or find a cobbler on my own and submit for a reimbursement.
