The leather is very soft and requires little break in. I ordered my usual size 8.5 but I think I might have done better with a 9 since the toe box is a little tight. Im really hoping they stretch in that spot.

I should have taken the sizing suggestion. I wear an 8.5 in most shoes and have size 9 Sam Edelman boots. Based on that, the website suggested I buy size 9.5, but I stuck with 9 because I've never worn anything larger (and can get away with wearing size 8 in some brands). The boots came today and are tight enough that I'll need to exchange them. The pointed toes make your foot very long, which could be a good or bad thing depending on your preference.

I just got these boots, so I'll start by saying I can't speak to how they wear/hold up over time. I ordered my regular size in boots (8.5), which is a half size larger than what I wear in sneakers to leave room for socks. I was worried they would be too narrow in front since they taper in; while they feel a tiny bit tight in width, I think they will break in well. They feel slightly large in back at the heel, but I added an insole, which fixed the issue. I'm deducting a star because they don't seem like the highest quality in terms of materials and construction (for example, I don't think they're resole-able), but they seem good for the price.

I'm pretty confident that I'll be wearing these for a while. I don't think I would normally buy a Chelsea boot, but it's a very classic style and the quality is obvious. I still need to break them in and I do wish I didn't have to buy soles for the bottom, but these are really nice and I was so pleased to find an ethical shoe line.

I love these boots but wish they had better arch support. It's not a deal breaker and I'll be getting some insoles to solve the problem.

Ive purchased these boots 4 times now, three in the black and once in the light tan suede. They last about a year for me (with - literally - every day wear because I almost never switch up my shoes in fall/winter. Theyre well made, so you could absolutely tell-sole them (I tend to drag my feet when I walk, which rips up the leather part of the toe of my shoes- thus, I just trash the pair I own and replace as needed). Im consistently an 8-9 (depending on brand) and have owned these in 8s before (for reference, I wear an 8.5 in the woven Ecuador sandal/own a 8.5 but probably should have sized up to a 9 in my Mariella mules). This time I grabbed a 8.5 to minimize the wear in time (they do stretch to your foot with time). Theyre worth the money, and Ill likely put the pair I just bought on sale in storage until next fall season. Grab a pair- you wont like any other boot.

This boot looks very sophisticated and is of great quality. The only reason to take off a star is the material on the underside of the shoe - it is not very durable and was already showing scrapes after 5 minutes of wear, so I'll have to invest in some other form of protection.

I love the look of these boots. I'm constantly receiving compliments on them. They received 4 of 5 because they are not very comfortable. Im still working on breaking them in, but even so, my toes feel very pinched and my feet feel fatigued after casual waking. I may amend this 4 after a little more break-in time.

I love my Chelsea boot, especially coz it can handle light rains. It is a comfortable heel and shaft height, though I wouldnt have minded a half to one inch more on the heel. My only complaint is that I wish the sole had serrations like the Dari Boot to keep me from slipping. Hopefully with more wear the sole will become less slippery. Overall, beautifully made boots that I have reached for most of the days since I got them this winter.

Runs tight! Size up! Otherwise super cute and classic and love that I can walk to work and not worry about a tiny bit of rain.

I bought a pair of these boots knowing that I need to size up 7>7.5 US due to Nisolos narrow toeboxes. The 7.5 fits well but the leather upper is so stiff that it took a full week of hot-sock molding to soften the shoe enough that I could wear it for a full day without blisters. Now that they are properly fitted I LOVE them!

Ive had my boots for two months now and I ordered my usual size. The boot was tight at first but I wore them inside with thick socks to stretch them out a bit and that helped. They are also hard to slip on and off as you really have to pull on the tab to get them on. Some other reviews mentioned that the tab ripped off but mine have not yet. Overall, its a really good quality boot. The almond toe shape makes the boot look sophisticated and the leather really is waterproof as I stepped into a puddle and my feet did not get wet nor did the leather get messed up! I got these on sale so Im happy with the price but if I bought them full price I would have to rethink iif they were worth it.

I pretended to own these boots by looking at them daily on the internet for a few months- as one does- before finally pulling the trigger. My first pair- a 7 (I traditionally wear a 6.5/7)- while beautiful, were far less comfortable than my months of imaginary wears. Imaginary shoes tend to be that way. My second pair- a 7.5- were roomier, versatile, and best of all visible to others. I've been wearing them IRL for a few weeks now with no complaints and plenty of compliments.

Very pleased with the quality of the boot and the style. It hit at my ankle at an uncomfortable spot and after trying on several times, I decided to return the boots. Also, fairly narrow but sure they would have been better after breaking in the boots.

I bought these boots in my normal size, size 10, but I have somewhat wide feet so unfortunately they did not fit. I absolutely love these boots and love the quality as well on the ethics of the company, but unfortunately I had to return my purchase because Nisolo doesn't carry women's size 10.5. So I just wanted to leave this review so Nisolo knows that if they expand there size range to include a size 10.5 I would 100% repurchase and I'm sure others would as well!

I love the look of these boots. They are sleek and stylish. I took Nisolo's advice and ordered up a half size. However, while the length is great I find them to be a bit narrow, and this is coming from someone who has a narrow foot. I have had some luck alleviating the discomfort by placing them on a shoe stretcher, but I have a job that I am on my feet for 8 hours a day and after about 4 hours they start to bother me. Maybe going up a full size would have helped but it is a moot point at this time, since I cannot return them. I hope that eventually I will be able to break them in and they will become comfortable. But for now it is so dissapointing to have purchased a pair of expensive boots that hurt my feet.

I like that the ankle is narrow (looks nice) but these are hard to get off (feels like Im tugging off a rubber rain boot!) Also if I wear low cut socks my ankle gets horribly rubbed by the abrasiveness of the elastic part on the side (very painful if walking a lot). I feel these will last a long time with proper care, so overall Im happy with my purchase. I normally wear a size 6, bought a 6.5.

I ordered a half size larger than my usual, but I wish I'd ordered a full size larger. I can't wear them for long without them pinching across my mid-foot, and that is even wearing a thin, thin sock.

I was lusting after these for a while, and was excited to find a great Black Friday deal on them. They're as lovely in person as they are in the photos, and the quality looks great, but unfortunately, they're way too narrow in the toebox for my averagely wide feet. So sad I had to return them!

There was a stain (like a finger size) on my boot, unfortunately I was too close to my trip and couldnt return it, the customer service representative tried to help and they were nice, I have other Nisolo pieces and so far the only incident I have had. The shoe has to break in, its elegant, sleek, pointy, cowboyish style but not too far, overall great shoe.

These boots are gorgeous straight out of the box and are wearing in well. However, they took a solid week + of wearing to break in the sole. I'm worried long term about the bottom sole - wish the whole thing was thinly rubbered like the heel. A bit tight in the toe box, might size up if I had wide feet.

I love the look of these bots, but unlike other Nisolo shoes, they are harder and flatter in the sole. I walked a few miles in these on the first day, and experienced some discomfort. Hoping theyll be more comfortable with time.

Theres no denying the timeless style of these boots. They arent cheap, but I know Ill wear these for years to come. Breaking them in wasnt as painful as I expected. I wear slightly thicker socks with these than I typically do for warmth and comfort. Only reason I gave 4 stars is that the toe is pointed more than rounded. Pictures are all from side angles, no birds-eye view. At first I was disappointed bc I prefer the rounded toe loom, but it is not such a big deal for me to return them.
