My 5th grader loves it! Personally I do wish it had more pockets inside but it's still pretty great.

Perfect fit for the kiddos. I love that the new version has material side pocket instead of the cloth to reduce ripping when using the side pockets for water bottles or other supplies. The straps are easily adjustable and comfortable.

Amazing backpack. Super sturdy for children on the move. I anticipate using the bag for years to come

Great color & size for my son. This is the perfect size for preschool-1st grade and even a smaller 2nd grader. My son can fit his school folder, lunch box & water bottle in it with plenty of room for a hoodie or a couple extra things.

Love the backpack. Perfect for a first grader

I bought this bag to replace a cute looking, but impractical, toddler backpack when said cute backpack wouldn't even hold a folder. Heads up, even daycares use folders to send home paperwork, who would make a backpack that wouldn't even hold a folder?!? More than seven years later I'm replacing this backpack because as my kid goes into middle school, it's finally getting to small. This bag went to daycare, preschool, grades 1-5, camping, and various summer camps for year after year after year. My intention was to replace it once it wore out, but every summer I would soak it overnight in some enzymatic laundry detergent, give it a scrub, rinse it until the water was clear, and it looked almost new. I don't review things, however, I felt like this toddler backpack earned it. It had the right number of pockets and while in elementary school something's were a tight fit (3 ring binder) we made it work. It is big enough for an adult to comfortably carry it, small enough my at the time toddler could too. At some point one of the outside buckles was damaged, but it wasn't required for it to work and that little backpack kept working (for years). In time where so many things don't last something that does deserves a review, so even though I never write these, here you go.

Just in time for the new school year! Our son loves his new backpack and it meets and exceeds our expectations. Likely won't help him make straight A's but that's the only flaw :)
