This is my husband's second pair of the XC4 TR1 Luxe Hybrid, (different color). He loves the unique flexibility, with the comfort of an athletic shoe and the style of a dress shoe.

I have become a loyal Johnston Murphy shopper, most recently footwear. After my first good purchase, I made another, then was intrigued by a dress/waterproof boot, so I purchased that and was extremely please! I just purchased these sneakers for the wet spring here in New England. Once again, I am loving the JM products. They are more money than some discount shoe store.. and they should be! They are better! I purchased the Black Breathable Full Grain. These look great. They are right in the sweet spot of looking sporty but dressy enough to wear with chinos and still fit in the business casual category. They feel like a very comfortable sneaker. Before becoming a consistent JM footwear customer, I always purchased sole inserts for every single shoe/sneaker/boot I owned to reduce knee and foot pain. JM's standard soles have eliminated the need for that additional purchase. These sneakers do come with laces that need to be tied, unlike how they are shown in the picture. There is a neoprene tongue built into the shoe that is sewn in. It is tight enough to keep the shoe on. It does make you work a bit to get your foot in there, but thee shoe has a loop on the heel to help pull it on. You definitely can't just slide into these, but your feet are also not going to slip out but accident either. I'm very happy with yet another purchase from JM .

I distrust most reviews , especially those that rave on . So with that said , these are rough to break in , but they are so very worth it. These are for me , the most comfortable shoes I have had in years . But them , trust me.

The manager Grace Abraham in the Disney Springs store had me try on some shoes to check for fit even though the store did not have my size in the shoes that I wanted. Because of her help I purchased the XC4 TR1 Luxe Hybrid and Sport Hybrid shoes. I also bought a pair of sandals. They fit well and are very comfortable. My doctor took a picture of the Sport Hybrid shoes so she could get them for husband. Thanks to Grace. Excellent!
