Purchase was returned as a result of the shoes being too big and wide. Given that I previously purchased a pair of Eaton P/T Brown size 11 - M from Johnston & Murphy, I assumed ordering the same size in the Upton's would be an issue. However, the shoe was too big and wide compared to my other purchase and just didn't fit and therefore returned.

I only wear J&M shoes. Ive been looking for a pair of the casual/dress shoes all the cool kids are wearing . Initially, J&M didnt have my size or this style in the store. I have purchased 3 different brands of this style from three different companies. Two I sent back and one I had to sell after wearing them 20 minutes. They gave me horrible blisters on my heals and the company said I was outside the return window. Those were $289 a pair and are a popular W&S brand. When these became available I thought Id try them. They are extremely comfortable. I wore them around the house and they felt great. They run true to size and look great. I purchased the black pair after getting these. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

Very comfortable shoe!

The tongue of the shoes is reinforced without any reason. Then, the mentioned tongue is too stiff, instead of soft and comfortable to use.

The shoe runs bigger than i expected. I must exchange for a smaller size. The shoe looks good but simply does not fit properly.

I had to immediately return due to the toe of the right shoe was discolored so badly that it was obviously not inspected at the factory. However, I reordered them because I already have a pair and love them. These new ones are a gift.

Been wearing Johnston and Murphy shoes for years. This was the closest shoe that resembled my 1850's. Wish the company hadn't abandoned the crepe sole on this shoe.

Very nice-looking shoes, although a bit darker than I expected. I can wear them with dress slacks or khakis or jeans and they look great. The fit is good, also.

This is a nice pair of shoes. First of all, the color is more a light brown than a true tan. The pictures are inconsistent across various websites. They are surprisingly light, and very comfortable.

Very nice shoe always a great fit. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 after I unfortunately wore the shoes in a torrential down pour and the leather warped. I returned them with no problem and got replacement pair as I said it's a very nice shoe just don't wear them in a rain storm!

Great looking shoes and well cushioned but they're just too narrow. I own several pairs of J&M and all have been M width. Already sent them back and plan to order a wide pair.
