We love the Billy's. This was our first time with this different style. A little too wide and heavy for my 5 year old. We will go back to the other style. She loved the color though

I needed a shoe that fits my daughter's DAFOs. Her orthotics are almost as wide as they are long. These shoes are wide enough, easy to put on, and cute. I only wish more designs were available in the wider shoes.

The wide shoe is great for AFO users. Love the pink color. My child wears AFO's and tends to crawl or drag her feet when she walks, and unfortunately the shoe does not hold up the best. We have also had trouble with the zippers breaking. It's a good shoe, we just end up going through a new pair every 3 months because we can't find durability.

We live rurally do the black soles help hide dirt. I have braces to keep me walking because arthritis. I was very happy to find high top shoes to fit my braces.

I was so happy to find a fun color and highly functional shoe to fit my braces. Billy Shoes have a good system for fitting your particular foot and issues.

Love the shoes but son is unusually hard on his Footwear and the zippers keep detaching on last 3 pairs these shoes have been a God send as they literally are the only brand that fit my sons feet properly

My son has afo brace on leg and it's nice that he has independence putting his own shoes on. My son is very active and the only downfall is he gets holes in the bottom of shoe quickly

Width is great and wide width is a bonus. However , the zipper broke on one shoe within first 8-10 wears. Generally have been happy with Billy shoes but the zipper issue is frustrating. Have to say though overall they are good shoes.

I'll be buying more Billy shoes, but these are too big. I love being able to unzip the entire shoe.

I bought these shoes for my daughter who wears AFOs. The AFO's are very easy to get into the shoes, which is great. The only downfall is that the extra wide only come in high tops (for now) which are not the best for her AFOs because the laces can't be tied. I've always had a very difficult time finding shoes that will fit over the AFOs, so overall I do like these shoes. I'm just looking forward to the low tops in the extra wide!

Great wide shoes for my kiddo's AFOs... I just wish the tips were more durable, they wear out and the zipper separates after a few months each time. The zipper pulls should be plastic or rubber also -- the string frays and unravels quickly.

This is our first pair of Billy's for our ten year old daughter. Our daughter wears AFOs, and shoe brands that we have relied on in the past are no longer wide enough. We decided to try Billy. The sizing chart was accurate and helped us to choose a size that fits perfectly! She loves the style and they were comfortable right away. However, she finds them to be quite warm and her feet get sweaty. They are also a lot heavier than the shoes she is used to wearing, and she finds it difficult to wear them in gym class. We are going to order a pair of Billy Sport Inclusion runners in the hopes that they are more suitable for gym class and other activities. But definitely hanging on to the high tops as well!

We really love Billys to fit over our son's braces. We have ordered wide in the past and had to loosen the laces to accommodate the braces. We gave the XW a try this time and they are significantly wider. We did not have to loosen the laces and there is plenty of room. The picture is of a wide vs an X wide, both size 11. We have had issues with the zipper around the toe area separating from the material, so far so good with our latest pair.

These are the ONLY shoes that fit my son with afo braces! One little bad thing I that I've been going through a pair a month because the bottom rubber wears down and makes a hole.

Awesome fit with my sons sure steps but seem to wear kind of quicker than I expected.

My daughter wears AFO's and we love these shoes! They offer a wide width size the brace fits perfect in. They wear at the hinge a bit easy and wide width lacks some of the cute sizes regular width does. Overall still one of our favorites.

What a great sneaker for kids wearing SMO's! Finally, a stylish sneaker that is easy for my daughter to wear! The price is great and the quality of the sneaker is equally as great! The only reason I gave the sneakers 4 stars is because of the limited selection for wide sneakers. The medium width is still too narrow for braces, so she needs a wide. I would love to see more of a selection in colors like those in medium width!

We love these shoes for our Daughter who wears braces on her legs. Really there aren't many other suitable options. We just wish the wide shoes came in the designs and not just solid. We also have them in red

These shoes work great over my son's braces. I only gave them a four-star because red was the only color they had in wide in his size. I would prefer a different color but none was available. This is his third pair and he needed another pair because they are the only shoes that fit.

The width is good. Bernadette finds her new wide fit shoes very comfortable. The look good. The shipping time to Ireland was quick.

These are very comfortable and convenient AFO shoes.

So far so good! They are attractive and color is as advertised. My 6 yo kiddo hasn't worn them yet with his AFOs, but he likes the look of them and I like how functional they appear. Going to buy another pair at his request!
