Daughter uses AFO's and the wide size fit okay. Ordered a pair before and the zipper broke hoping this time these last longer.

These fit our grandson better than an over the counter shoe as he wears braces. However, I was just a bit disappointed as the lacing was difficult to figure out as it wasn't the normal criss cross pattern & hard to adjust. Also, the zipper was difficult to pull up because there were threads sticking out in the "tongue " area. Other than that, the quality & price were great.

Perfect fit for my sons afo brace worked great for 2 months then the zipper tassel ripped off. But we did or 2 more pairs of different ones because they truly are the best shoes for afo brace. Make sure if you have a child with this brace to get wide.

These shoes function so well for our son who wears a tall orthotic brace on his right foot. Since he tends to put pressure through the inside of the right foot, the sole wore through a bit quicker than expected.

The shoes were well built and sturdy It was exactly what we were looking for, however, the "extra wide" did not fit his AFO even with increasing the size. Would love to buy again if there was an extra-extra wide option.

These high tops fit my daughter's smo and afo's perfectly. My only complaint is they are heavy for her to lift when stepping and they look wide.

Great shoes, wish the soles were a little more durable. Soles wear out before rest of shoes do.

I bought this shoes for my mother, which recently had brain injury and lost mobility of her body, including her legs. Before we found Billy shoes, it was very difficult to put normal shoes with the orthopedic devices she uses, but now with Billy shoes that step is so easy. In addition, the sole is very stable a great fir rehabilitation exercises. We all, her rehab team and caregivers, love the Billy shoes for mom. In addition, customer service was great, I was unsure about the size, so I provided mom' foot dimension and they provide size and type of shoe recommendation.

I would like a more strong zipper, heavy duty, or metal zipper. The thing is in my case, the zipper is easy stuck with dust and sand, because is for a kid 9 years old. He is in many places playing, so when he wants to pull of his shoes, he apply more force in the zipper then it begins to damage prematurely. For my part I apply skin cream on the zipper so that it moves easily and does not damage.

I love our Billy Shoes! I love that they fit over my son's SMOs. They are so cute! However, they took almost a month to ship, so we had to wait a long time.

One spot stitching was coming undone. Noticed it the first day wearing them.

The extra wide sneaker has extra space in it near the toes otherwise it accommodates my AFO'S better than the wide. If I was able to get a half size smaller it may fit me just right.

Great. Need some Wide width boots. The Sport Inclusions need to be Wide width also. Thanks for great shoes.

LOVE the shoes! Just wish the insides were a little tougher/thicker. My son's braces "eat" through the soles. Need some boots/Lugs in WIDE width. Thank you for making these shoes.

Love this idea and great sole quality! however I bought these for my five year old son who is pretty rough on shoes with climbing and running etc. a week after wearing them the toe part had already ripped from the zipper. I was so bummed, but other than that these are great shoes!

These are wonderful. They work great with my sons orthotics. Only issue zipper came off from the stitching seem so can no longer use

Perfect over AFOs. One shoe came with a shorter shoelace, so we had to switch those out, but they will work great!

These are great - they allow my daughter, who wears AFO (braces on her legs) to have a pair of shoes she's excited about. We could use a little more room....but we make it work!

We had to adjust the laces to accomidate the afos as my daughters feet are wide but they work great and have lots of give. Next time I'll buy wider. They fit great and are easy to put on

I ordered the extra wide width black to the floor Billy classic High tops. My son wears braces that are different on each foot. The left foot fit perfectly for the brace on that foot; however, the right foot was much too wide, so I will order the medium width next time. Other than that, I love bill's footwear, it's all my son wears.

Great shoes! Works perfectly with his brace! Plus we order 2 different size shoes without order 2 pairs of shoes!

Very functional and easy to put on for children with AFOs.

We love our Billy shoes! They fit great over my sons AFO's and he can put them on independently. The customer service at Billy shoes was also wonderful and got right back to me when I had a question!
