Good looking shoe, wanted to love it. Usually 12M from J&M fits me well"but not with these shoes. Too tight, rubbed blisters on my heels. Sending back, will try another style.

I was expecting a comfort same as ColeHann grand zero. It isn't. It runs and hurt too of my heel on the left.

I have purchased and enjoyed more that 10 pairs of JM shoes. These are a let down. Appearance: good Toe box: comfortable Heal box: stiff and does not conform to feet. The material is stiff and my first attempt was to use my hands to soften this area of my shoes. Now, I've purchased aftermarket heel grabs to hopefully prevent future blisters.

Runs small, I'm a true 10.5 M but had to get an 11 M. Shoe is kind of stiff and hoping they brake in. Not up to the standards of J&M in my opinion.

This size is a half size too small. It's also very noisy on hard surfaces

Lot more comfortable than it looks, this probably the plainest looking shoe in the JM line. It is surprisingly comfortable. With the low gray sole it does not look like it but there is comfort. the style is very very plain. I have wide feet and wear orthotics and have found JM shoes really very on their toe box widths a lot. As this has broken in, I may have not needed the wide's, and I have a regular width on my Upton laces up which are the best. But others that do not have the same toe box. Wish there were more stores that carried the shoes so they could be tried on first.

I ordered this shoe in a 9.5 M and it's definitely too narrow. I bought the Parsons Plain Toe in the same size and it fit like a glove. Didn't realize there would be that big of a difference between the two styles.

generic emails made me feel that item is not being processed for exchange so felt need to call to ensure item is being processed correctly but still not sure- just waiting full 10 days.

Nice shoe, but the pair that I received were not the same color of brown that was shown in the catalog. Instead of the medium brown color, they we more of a mustard yellow/brown color. I returned them.

Very well made and stylish shoe. Unfortunately, the toe box is bit too narrow for my comfort.

Very narrow shoes. Sent back and didn't try to figure out the right size since they were so narrow.

Really good looking shoe, goes with everything and very lightweight. Did not work for my foot shape. There is a wide variation in sizing between JM shoes, ended up going with something more casual looking and much more comfortable. The cutouts for your ankle were high on this shoe, constantly rubbing my ankles and creating pain.

I have several other pairs of JM shoes and Size 13 normally fits perfect. In fact, they are a little larger than most 13's in other brands. This style in black however runs incredibly small. They rubbed my heel and ankles so much that I had to return them. I recommend the brand but not this style

These shoes fit and feel great. The only problem is they squeak on the vinyl tile floors at work. Effectively can't wear them to work but can and do everywhere else.

I loved this shoe from the moment I put it on. But u fortunately it did not hold up. The soles started to fall apart from the shoe and I only had them for about a month and half. I'm going to take them to a cobbler to see if they can fix it. But if you do a lot of walking, lifting , pushing as part of your job I would try and find something more durable

I liked the shoe, however I wear a 9.5 all day long, every day. The 9.5 in this shoe runs small. Creating blisters.

I bought these shoes because I can no longer get the awesome black leather McGuffey plain toe shoe. These shoes fit smaller than other J&M Wide shoes and have a tighter fit at the instep. I am hoping they will stretch out. I am also hoping they will bring back the McGuffey - best wide casual shoe J&M ever made.

I ordered the Holden Plain Toe in 'gray', and when they arrived it was clear that the photos on the website are not accurate. Instead of being a true gray, they're more of a brownish taupe. Not even close to gray. Not the nice, neutral color that I was expecting at all. They're nice shoes, so I guess I'll keep them, but I won't wear them nearly as much as I would have if they were the proper color.

Nice looking, toes too tight, had to by Cole Haan Instead. Also quite flimsy. Could use more support between the insole and omit sole. Again like cole haan
