Very comfortable shoes except the heel side of the throat is really stiff. Once the shoes are on they're great. Putting them on almost feels like they're slicing the back of my heels. Hoping they will soften up.

I like the shoe, but it's a little on the hard side.

I wish you had the Holden size 8 wide. I bought two pairs, and the 8.5 won out. Very nice looking otherwise and spiffing too. Like the tan edging on the back. Next time, white soles!

What can you say about this shoe it's a Johnston & Murphy the style is on point and the comfort is like walking on air. Hands down I will definitely recommend this shoe.

I don't love them, and honestly I don't find them overly comfortable, but maybe that's just me. The oiled tan gets scraped fairly easy too.

I love the look of this shoe. Seems to be well made, and I am very pleased to be able to buy it in a wide size. I had to return the medium size, which I did at a retail location. They were very understanding of my reason to return it, and very helpful in getting the correct size ordered for me after test fitting a similar shoe to help me decide on the correct size. Then, the replacement pair of shoes arrived very quickly within a day or two.

The shoe was to narrow. I probably need a size 13 - 2E.

This is the 2nd pair I've purchased. What a great quality shoe with the sole being the most comfortable.

I like the look and soft sole. It will take more time to break in and feel more comfortable. Thought I would receive a 1st time buyer discount.

I bought two pair, one black, one tan. I love the tan, but the black is not nearly as comfortable. Both the same size and type, but the black really stiff and is difficult to wear for the day.

I did not keep the dress sneaker/shoe because of the possibility that the leather would crease near the toe. They were very comfortable and the fit was a bit large for me as I am 1/2 size smaller in the sneaker/shoe department whereas my dress shoes are a perfect fit at a certain size 1/2 up.

Very user-friendly can walk miles a day with no issues!

The intent of the shoe is comfort while being formal enough to wear with a suit. The shoes tore up my heels. there's a ridge at the heel top seam that was brutal. I'm not sure when I will try again. I did not experience this with other hybrid type dress shoes.

Nice looking shoe, and very comfortable. The only shortcoming... they are "squeaky" when you walk in them. Wore them to a wedding reception, didn't have that new shoe break-in feel, great from the start. But I was fortunate there was a lot of noise, if walking in a quiet place everyone will know you're approaching. I'm going to wear them a few more time and see if this improves. If not, will most likely return. 3.5/5 rating.
