My most recent purchase was for 2 pairs of Riggs. The light weight comfort was correct.
My second pair were also Riggs, The Ranger rip stop. The problem is the excess material along each side of the zipper fly. The pictures on the website are not the same as what I received. Quality Control should understand being able to wrap a couple of cucumbers around the zipper is not a compliment.
I trust Wrangler, I took off the tags and washed them. By the time I figured out the irregularity I had lost my tags. Not returnable

I really love Wrangler jeans. But my most recent purchase I got two pairs of riggs. One pair of jeans was ok, the Riggs light weight comfort.
My second pair of jeans was Riggs rip stop. I considered them to be an irregular defect. The problem is on each side of the zipper fly there was excessive material. I looked at pictures of these jeans on the web site and there is some extra material. The pictures were not like the one pair I received.
I trust Wrangler. I tore off the tags and washed them. By the time I figured out the defect I lost my tags and could not return them. Quality Control should know if you can wrap a couple of cucumbers in the excess material, it is not a compliment.

I ordered these pants in bark and instead of being a warm khaki color like the picture, they're a light greenish grayish in person? The lable on the pant itself was also said "bark." So it's not like they sent the wrong pair or anything. The color is just very different in the photo and really wasn't what I was looking for.
Pants themselves seem nice so far but fit a little loose.

These pants would not stay on my waist no matter how tight my belt was cinched. Throughout the day, I constantly had to be pulling them up and retucking in my shirt and my customers don't need to be seeing that. It's difficult to squat in these things and I found myself having to fall into chairs. You can't separate your knees in these things which makes it incredibly difficult to get into and out of your car (where you put one foot in while the other remains outside the car on the ground). Getting into my car is what ultimately destroyed these pants as they ripped open along the crotch (luckily I was heading home at the time).
I will be looking elsewhere for black riptear pants at 54x32.

I really love the style and fit of these pants, but the quality is disappointing. The color started to wear quickly, and six months in the crotch is thread bare. If they were higher quality, they'd be my daily drivers. For a workwear pant, I'd expect better.

I'm guessing they won't list that it's made of cotton, yet they are calling it rip stop. Mine last a few years Max and then start ripping. It probably needs poly cotton or nylon cotton blend to be really called rip stop.
The style of pocket served me well. It's just that it's cotton and even the reinforced knees start wearing out.

Worn to work, in less than 6 months the wear and tear is simply just that. I figured being a Wrangler brand I'd get more wear out of them. Holes popping up everywhere from pockets, (all of them) to the zipper area. They were a favorite, but not anymore.

These pants are extremely durable, comfortable and look good for everyday wear.
Misgiving 1: they don't come in a 28" inseam
Misgiving 2: Wrangler, along with every other man's pant producers, have, over the years, shortened the zipper length. I must now undo my pants just to relieve myself. Pulling the zipper down is no longer sufficient. I realize one comment is not going to persuade you to add some length (about 1.5-2") to ameliorate the issue.

The pants are good quality however they fit tight in the hips. I bought these a size bigger than I normally wear. I also bought them in black and they do not hold the color, they have been washed twice and are already fading. I work as a supervisor in building maintenance and my uniform requires black pants.

It's an okay fit. The material is tough but also not the comfiest, however they may break in. I've had these for about 6 weeks and they hold up to general construction (I'm an electrician) but yesterday I was on shingled roof and the pants did not hold up. They're still useable but they will be forming a hole very soon. I was hoping they'd at least last a year.

I have numerous pairs of Wrangler 5 pocket and carpenter demiums 34X30 relaxed fit that are on the loose side. The 35X30 Riiggs are very tight and after repeated washings, are still very stiff.

Very well made/ durable pants. When they say relaxed fit, they MEAN relaxed fit. Very loose!

Very thick material which is good for working but it can be a bit cumbersome because of the weight. Slightly larger than expected but it's not the worst.

I've kept buying these pants for a little over a year. In that time I've probably bought 6 pairs of these. Only one pair survives to this day.
The pocket system is one I have grown to love. Working in property management it allows me to carry all the essentials. I also build and repair log homes in the summer, which is alot more intense work.
The main issues I have are that in these pants manuverability is almost non-existent and tear doing things that they really shouldn't.
On the point of maneuverability, I can't move my legs near as much as I'd like, as these pants are very restrictive. Working on log homes I often find myself climbing and hanging from places that require a degree of maneuverability that these pants just don't allow.
When it comes to the tearing problem keep in mind I'm not a heavy set guy but I do have what one may call "thunder thighs". I have ripped 3 of the pairs along the inside seam just from doing things that would place heavy strain on my legs and one time straddling a toilet backwards to replace the guts. That said, they've never torn from getting caught on things. I've climbed around my share of barbed wire in these and even when they snagged, they never tore.
I like them alot more than any other work pants I've tried so far (including Duluth Firehouse pants which wore out insanely quickly) however they still just don't meet the standard I'd like.
In an attempt to remedy the issues listed I've decided to switch to the flex fabric version of the Ranger pant so I can keep the pocket system I'm so accustomed to but avoid some of the tearing and maneuverability issues I run in to.

My son loves these ....however....with the rip stop fabric it seems like they should last longer than they do. He always wears them out in the crotch. They get really thin and then tear.

I bought these pants for my job, but can't wear them on the job, cause of the brown trim around the pockets.

Material is too stiff and chafes my skin when walking. Pants do not fit well. Every pair of pants I own are 34 waist and 34 length. I had to order these 36...32 and they were still very baggy.
