Got a grey pair as a gift from my son. Wore with suspenders, fit was very comfortable and no tightness or binding. Good-looking! Used them for casual about a dozen times; then for gardening/ yard-work. On third time for latter use, was clearing a hillside slope of weeds and storm-dropped branches. A branch poked my left cheek, made a 1/2" hole in the trousers (and a wound in my skin). After antiseptic and dressing, returned to pulling heavy weed-growth. The tiny hole in the pants ripped up 6"-7" along the pocket-seam, and down 3"-4" following the "rip stop" thread. This while I leaned along the muddy hillside, stretching to reach and pull weeds. Was quite disappointed that these Wrangler Riggs pants were so flimsy.

Ordered size 35, got them delivered and when I tried them on they were way to tight, more like a size 33.

I have bought multiple pairs of the riggs carpenters and riggs ranger pants. I have pairs of 34x30 and 2 pairs of 35x30. One pair of the 35" waist is so big that I can't even wear them. Even the belt bunches them up. But the riggs carpenters I bought in 35" waist are so tight that I have to suck in to make them fit. I bought them a little big, so I could conceal carry but the one pair is just way too tight.

Bought these pants for my son. We were so disappointed that these pants didn't work. Fit was strange. Extremely baggy, going to have to return.

I'm a carpenter, I've been wearing this type of pant since they invented wood. I like a loose fit. These were not that nor was a comment made about the fit, in the description that I saw

I like the look and feel of the jeans but I question the workmanship. I noticed a comment about the belt loops coming loose. I too had that happen in a very short period of time. I might have worn them about 5 times at the most when that happened. The problem with just reattaching the belt loop is that it left a hole in the jeans. I would purchase more of these jeans if they would address this issue.

I have worn the Riggs Carpenter Pants for many years. Over the years, these pants have served me well. They always fit perfectly and lasted for years. I particularly liked their relaxed fit and strong fabric. But, I guess all things come to an end. The last pants I purchased was nothing like the others. I have worked heavy construction for nearly 20 years. I do a lot of bending, twisting, and lifting. The newest pants that I have purchased will allow none of that! Wrangler seems to have tightened up the hips and the butt such that the pants might fit a very skinny high school kid. I am afraid to purchase another Riggs Carpenter Pants for fear that Wrangler has permanently changed the fit pattern of these pants; and that I will end up trying to return them to the seller. I have to say that I am very disappointed.

Although the pants shoes it were properly manufactured as advertised and I like its style, the total.quality is poor due to it doesn't match weist size needed and showed at the product label...it fits too tight at least one size under...I haven't have chance to measured and probe it...at same time,, I bought another two pants similar model and they fits perfectly. When I received those tried all three and found it, next day, called customer service and they told me that they can send me a same part as a replacement but I should pay for the shipping and if I want different size or model I should get a reimburse deducting the shipping cost...onle option o have is to probe its defective....too complicated

I've bought several pairs af the Wrangler shorts in the same size and cut. These pants run very small and the legs are super wide. Don't understand why sizes are so inconsistent among the same brand.

I work in these everyday. I ordered 2 pairs of these. They came in fitting way to tight. I wear a 33/30 Jeans. I ordered these wranglers in 34/30 and they were so tight I could not get them buttoned. The quality of the product is spot on for me, but the size is off. I am ordering 35/30. I have never worn a 35" in in anything, but I enjoy these pants...(when they fit)

They changed the design. The stitching is in different areas. When using side pockets the new stitching won't allow a phone to be placed in pockets. The fabric is lower quality and tears easily. I have had many pairs over the last 20 years. With the changes, I will be looking for a different brand.

I have to send them back. While other Wrangler 35 in waste plants work well, these feel and inch, maybe two, too tight in the waste. They are also not "loose" fitting. Back they go.

My biggest complaint is how I sweat while wearing these. It's like wearing two layers of flannels when trying to work. My old non-Wranglers don't have this problem. Also I like the pocket reinforcements but the pocket openings are too small, I can't get my hand in around the tool hanging on the leather.

The 2 stars is because the side pocket was made so small you can't carry anything in it. They said the design change was done a year ago. Will not buy again because I can't carry my phone anymore.

Buying these same jeans for about the last 8 years. This last round of jeans, something has changed with the leg pocket. My phone fits in the older ones but doesn't fit in this last round of jeans. Something has changed with the pocket dimensions?? Very disappointed.
