i was disappointed that the size 34 was too tight compared to other wrangler pants i have used - other pants fit great - I would have to get a 36x30 instead. but costly to return with shipping costs. can i exchange in store ? thanks Kirk

As the title states they're not bad. The sizing isn't what I thought it would be. I don't know if it's the design of the pants or what, but I had to go up a size from my normal pant size and the length seems longer than a 30. More like a 32. The waist gets a little tight if I wear them with layers. The quality is decent, but I did notice the leather knife guard on the right pocket was miss sewn and is starting to come off on one pair.

I have several of these in 34 waist from last year and they fit me perfectly. I ordered several more in 34 waist this year and I could barely get them on, let alone button them. I returned them and ordered them in 35 waist and those were just as tight, even a little tighter! The legs were baggy but the waist had to be 32 or 30. I don't get it. I really love these pants otherwise, but if I order them in 36 waist the legs will be way too big. Too bad. On to try to find a company that has consistency in their sizing!

Believed I was replacing beloved Wrangler Riggs Workwear pants but found upon delivery that the cargo pockets so helpful in the original pants had been removed. Change was not mentioned online or obvious in pictures. Won't buy current version again.

Depending on the brand, I'm between sizes - 32 or 33, and 34 is too big. I tried these in 33 and they're strangely tight in the waist which makes them ride up high, and the relaxed fit is too baggy for me in the leg so they don't fit well and I can't imagine a 34 working for me. They don't come in slim fit. Trouble is, many brands don't do odd sizes in all their pants so it's back to the drawing board. I'm looking for a carpenter pant in a 33 waist that I'm not swimming in, I don't have giant thighs but I also have a butt. I can't be the only one. Quality seems good.

My husband loves the cargo pants but was disappointed that one of the pair of pants was a carpenter style.

I bought 3 pairs Wrangler Riggs Carpenter jeans. A few months later I bought 3 more pair. The waist is different from the first 3 pairs to the second 3 pairs. The color has started to fade noticeably in the first 3 pairs. Color stay technology?? Now some of the stitching in the belt loops has pulled out of the jeans while remaining in the belt loop piece of material. One pair the material is ripping by the cross stitch in the piece that covers the zipper.

I love the jeans but disappointed in the quality. At least 2 pairs of the jeans in my 2nd to last order. Not even a year ago already have hole in the crotch. I don't understand why this is a weak spot.

I have used these pants (and shorts) for work for many years now, I really liked them. I like the reinforcement on the front pocket that keeps my tape measure from destroying the pocket. I also like the rear pocket reinforcement for hanging my impacts and drills on. I also love the fact that they put the hammer loop on the right side of the pants so 95% of the population doesn't have to reach across their body to grab their hammer. All great features for days when you just need the basic tools but don't want to carry a full set of pouches. That being said, they have reduced the size of the hammer loop making it almost impossible to insert a hammer without using a second hand. I guess I''ll go back to wearing pouches full time and buying cheaper jeans.

Have several other brands in including this one. This the best quality however will NOT buy again because pockets are on the WRONG side.

I had bought 3 of these pants but in a different color and the size that I got was perfect. But then I bought same style but different color and it fit too tight. Bottom line is that best to buy a size bigger that what you wear. I still love Wrangler and Riggs work wear. That is the only reason why I'm giving a low score

I purchase wrangler carpenter flex for work 0ants in 42/32. They fit comfortably. Your sizing of the RIGGS 42/34 are so tight that I have to use a button extension to wear them. I think the sizes should be uniform on all your products.

The shorts fit completely different than the pants, would be nice if sizing was the same for both.

I purchased 38 30 from wrangler in the past-- I have multip pair-- I have one on now 38 30 fit good before.-- I love the ones I got before. New order -- I can not get button shut- Not sure-- So I tried all the prs on-- they all are the same. Not sure why they do not fit. My wife told me the material is more cotton on the ones that I have now. these are more parachutte looking material.(non stretch) Anyway I wish I could use them-- but I can not get them shut Maybe my wife it right? The tags state 38 30-- all of them I tried all of them-- I can not close any of them
