I actually had to return them they were too long and too baggy for my tastes. However, quality wise they were beautiful.

I was looking for standard khaki style or something similar to Duluth firehose. Wasn't happy that it had grid pattern but maybe it was in the description and I missed it

I bought 36x32 and they were not even close to that size. They were nice looking pants but I had to return them.

The high rise makes it tough for bigger fellas like myself to keep my pants up. I love these pants for the quality, durability, etc; however, I keep having to tug at them all day to keep them from falling off even with a belt.

I have worn Riggs carpenter jeans for many years. Purchased 3 new pairs. Everything about them was as expected, except that a belt loop was missing from one pair. I suppose I can salvage a loop from a older pair and sew it in by hand. Rating: 4 stars for each of two pairs; 1 star for the third pair; for an average of 3 stars, overall.
I wish these jeans were offered in 29 inch length.

Good heavy jeans. Like the fit. But the side pocket is too small for a cell phone. Inexplicable that Wangler made it It so small. One of major reasons zi like carpenter jeans.

I have been buying this style for many years.
The first thing I noticed immediately was that material was thinner and lacked "softness", especially the pockets, which feel like sandpaper. The indigo color had also changed. In the end, I will continue to buy them because it's the only traditional jean on the market. Why they felt they had to mess with it seems to point money... I would have happily paid another $10 or $15 more to get the same jean.

I ordered a size 31x34 and the waist & inseam length were exactly as described. The thigh width, however, was huge in comparison to the waist size. The thigh on these pants ended up being over 28". For comparison, my 32x32 wrangler technician pants have a thigh width of 24", and a pair of straight cut jeans have about 22".
The rise is also pretty high, and while I suppose it's advertised as high I don't know how they measure the front rise. The product page says 9 1/2, but it's actually 12 1/2 from crotch seam to waistline (which is normal for high rise pants).
As you can see from the image, I ended up taking ~3" out of the thighs, a 1/2 from the front rise, and removed the gusset. I wish I had a photo of how they fit before, but there was so much extra fabric in between my legs that it was folding up around the inseam.
I understand that a relaxed fit is meant for men with larger/more muscular legs, but over 28" in the thighs for some 31" pants seems excessive. And considering that other reviews for larger sizes talk about the fit being pretty slim, it makes me worried that the pattern on these pants isn't being adjusted for very thin or very large people. Just something to consider if you're around my size, turn a good fitting pair of pants inside out and compare them to my picture (and imagine the 2" gusset that I removed beforehand)

I ordered a grey pair and a tan pair in the exact same size. The grey pair fit perfectly. The tan feel like they are a whole size smaller.

I buy wrangler religiously, they have the only pants that fit me well. I ordered these pants with the hope that they fit similar to the jeans. Relaxed fit, not very relaxed. Quite tight, can barely bend in them.

I work in concrete industry, and liked these pants at first but even the slightest snag on anything and they get ripped bad. Uploaded worse of the 2 rips.

Have a pair of wrangler jeans in 32x34 that fit great. Tried on these riggs in the store, 32x34, but they were a little tight in the waist and didn't have a 33. Ordered 33x34 online and when they came in they were tighter than the 32 I had tried on, could barley button them! I like these pants but would only recommend them if you can try them on in store as even the same size pants will fit different.
