These pants are tough, good looking, and I look forward to wearing them for many years. I have a few pairs of Wrangler pants and shirts I have worn for many years. My only problem is finding the size that fits. Because of the limited sizes available I have to have the length adjusted. A cost of at least 60% of the cost of the pants. My size is 34W 27L. Even a 28 length in 34W can't be found.

I have the Ranger pants in the bark color and just ordered the Carpenter pants in dark khaki. They are literally the same color pants. They are more of a green color as well. The pants are good quality though, and fit pretty loose in my legs which I like for mobility at work.

Unfortunately, I had to send it back because I ordered the wrong size. Wrangler has always been a good brand for us.

I tried Riggs Ranger pants before and loved them. Decided to try these but after reading a handful of reviews, I ordered a size larger than I usually wear. Several reviews said they were too tight. These are waaaay loose on me. I have to cinch up the belt to make sure they don't fall off. The good news is they are very roomy.

Great pants just tight. I bought these online to go up a size that I couldn't get in the store. They weren't any looser than the size below. Weird! Now I have to lose 10lbs but probably a good thing!

Durable, comfortable pair of jeans. A go to for work. There are a few weak points though that if fixed would make them even better. The back belt loops seem to separate at the bottom due to minimal reinforcement and stitching. Have 4 pairs, different ages with the loops separated. Even a newer one is coming apart. The base of the fly also developed a wear hole to the left of the stitches. Not sure why. All in all a great pair of jeans, just want them to be better

I have own several pairs of these pants over the last 4 years they wear very well. This was my first pair to tear at a seam after the 2nd washing, but wrangler was quick to warranty and send a replacement out to me.

The Riggs carpenter pants are tough work pants we supply them to our employees. They would be a great pant if there was a leather patch on the pants side of the back pockets most of us cary tools in the back pockets screw drivers, pliers etc. over time a hole starts on pant side of pocket then the pants are ruined long before the rest of pants wear out. Just a thought if you want a great pair of work pants,of course you would sell fewer pants.

Having used Wrangler carpenter jeans for several years, I ordered some replacements, assuming they would be basically the same. I was surprised to find the new ones only have one tool pocket, in contrast to the previous ones that had three tool pockets (two on the right leg, one on the left). This makes them substantially less useful for me. Admittedly, that information was "in the fine print" of the description, but I didn't think they would have changed.

This product is amazing in itself this is the umpteen pair of these that we have for work and they stand up to every bit of each penny you spend on them. Now on the shipping just know that IF YOU SHIP TO A PO BOX IT TAKES A MONTH TO RECEIVE THEM and no they wont tell you at check out.

Back pockets should be lined with Cordova or leather on pant side up to belt to protect from wearing holes in pants from tools in pockets. They wear like iron until you get holes in pants above pockets. Only pants I buy but I hate throwing good pants out because of holes above back pockets from tools
