Love my Birkenstocks. There is a bit of a break in period- I did get a blister in between my toes. Love the braided look. Super cute - this is my second pair of Gizeh Birks.

I purchased these sandals in blue and they are so cute!! However, they run a size large. I usually wear a size 8-1/2 and the 39's were way too big. I re-ordered the size 38 and they fit perfectly!

I liked the braided look and the light olive color, but the comfort was just not there. It felt like a lot of shoe in between my toes with the leather tab falling over my toes and rubbing a bit. Then when taking a step, it was a lot of shoe for my toes to bear the weight of. I swear by my Birks, but this style was not a home run for me.

The braiding was uncomfortable, altho the fit was really good.

I’ve wore Gizeh’s for years but Birkenstock has changed the sizing. I held this pair up against 2 older pairs & they were more narrow by almost 1/4” and shorter by 1/4”. Very disappointed that they no longer fit me and a size bigger is too long for my foot.

the cognac leather is a disappointment -uneven coloration with parts being a darker shade. doesn't look like it appears in the photos or on some of the madrid style sandals. i like the gizeh style and thought the braid was a nice twist on the original. i have been wearing my other pair for 4+ years.

The main thing I didn't like about this shoe is that the strap was very short. I could only fasten to the first hole. Also, the braided part didn't lay flat. For these reasons, I returned. I may try another pair to see if it was just a fluke. Or maybe try the regular Gizeh along with the braided to see any differences.

Had to return them because I found the braided t-strap too thick and uncomfortable. I much prefer Birko-Flor.

The color was way darker than I anticipated.

The leather was rather stiff and not soft on the top of my foot. Not as comfortable as other styles.

Great shoe but there extra glue along the edge of the footbed. Not quality craftsmanship for the price.

This sandal feels extremely heavy and stiff in comparison to my other regular Gizeh. I am very disappointed because I love the style but they are going back.

It looks great off the foot, however, the braided leather is very stiff and painful when placed on the foot

I have several pairs of Birkenstocks, including Gizeh but they have changed something. These fit and felt horrible. Not soft leather and the size of these was off, my foot was falling out of them. I bought a pair of Birks in the fall and my foot hasn’t grown.

My foot felt like it would have a blister on top where the braid seemed to be cutting into the flesh, even after two minutes of wearing them in my house. Going to Italy walking a lot and I need very comfy shoes.

Love the color & style of this shoe! Podiatrist recommended Birkenstocks for sandals (that are usually NOT attractive) however they are SO HARD starting out that I can’t tolerate them long enough to break them in! Had to return them.

GORGEOUS NAVY color & BEAUTIFUL design 4 Birkenstock!! SHOCKER!! Toe divider was hard, irritating & footbeds like walking on a BRICK! Dr recommends this brand & I honestly cannot tolerate how painful they are to walk in them even for 10 min! I have severe flat feet from birth & I’ve tried several designs of them. Naots have the similar ‘moldable’ cork footbeds but have a more feminine, pretty design & much more pleasing comfort factor! THANK U ZAPPOS for making shopping for troubled feet a LOT easier!

Very uncomfortable shoes

I generally prefer sandals that go between my toes like this, but the toe post on the Gizeh is very hard and rubs uncomfortably.

I am surprised how uncomfortable this style of Birkenstocks is. This sandal does not fit like a true Birkenstock. I have many different pairs, but the footbed in this style is narrower, hard, and the toe post is very uncomfortable. Sadly I am returning

the fabric is great but shoes did not fit.
