I first ordered a Large, which was way too big....since it is cotton, I returned it for a Medium, and now that I've worn it a few times, I bet I could have gotten a Small! It is stretchy and big. Also it is more of a tunic length. That is okay, I think - but it surprised me. I didn't think it looked that long in the pictures.

This really is a beautiful sweater, and very well-made. It's very heavy. I love the side zipper accents and the mint color. I had first ordered a Medium, my usual size, but it was enormous! I exchanged it for a Small and it fits much better. This will be nice in cold weather with a shirt under it. By the time the exchange was processed the weather got very warm so I haven't worn this yet, but I'm sure I will be using it in the fall and winter.

I realized that it was listed as tunic style which was too long for me. I returned it.

I love this sweater. It's comfy and looks great with jeans or leggings. Having said that, I'd definitely recommend sizing down. The weight of the cotton knit meant that it quickly stretched out and didn't look as good on me as when it first arrived (maybe after two wears. I was really careful with my sizing/measurements). My friend had the same problem with her sweater - which gave me a chance to try on her medium. I exchanged for a size down and it fits perfectly. I'd buy it again in another color.

My normal size is M, but decided to chance ordering the clearance color which only came in XS, based on other reviews. I like the style with the zips at the bottom, but the neckline is a little awkward. It is not a cozy warm sweater, being cotton. I would not keep it if the clearance price wasn't so great, since it will be only used in spring or fall.

I received this sweater for Christmas in a size medium, which I normally wear in LLBean tops. It fit very large. I exchanged it for a size small, and the fit is perfect for me with plenty of room for a blouse or Turtleneck underneath. I am still not sure if I like the heavy weight of this sweater, but it is well made, and the mint green color is very pretty. The length is perfect for over leggings or skinny jeans.

This is a warm, cozy, beautifully made garment. The only "flaw" I found in it was the arm length. As a taller woman, sufficient arm length is one of the main criteria in a good sweater for me. I ordered the size large in the Mountain Red, and the sleeves were a tad bit shorter than desired. I ordered the light mint in an X-large to compensate for the length. The X-large was perfect! Overall though, wonderfully warm and stylish sweater!

Fits perfectly, length is just right, good rear coverage for wearing with leggings. Love the color and side zips. The sweater is a little on the stiff side, but I have not washed it yet. Expecting it will soften up.

I like the sweater a lot, but I wish it were a little bit of a slimmer fit and a bit longer. It's soft and comfortable and I like the zipper details. My main gripe is that I wanted it in black or a dark heather gray. The pale lilac is very pretty and looks good on me but I live in fear of spilling coffee/food on it.

So, this is a little too stiff for my taste. I thought it would be super soft and it is hard and just not flattering. I ordered a small in this and ended up needing an X-Small so it runs BIG. It just hugs me in all the wrong places. I'm going to keep it and maybe where something under it. But I wouldn't purchase again.

This sweater is so pretty, and I love the zipper details and the color!! It's just a little heavier than I expected and a little scratchy. I expected a cotton sweater to be a little softer. But I still love it - a perfect sweater for a cool day!

I wish I would have purchased a smaller size - as the small is too large and didn't look flattering. It is longer than I thought it would be and I didn't mind the zippers.

I ordered the light blue, beautiful color, the sweater is great quality but heavy and does run large, I teeter between a medium and large, depends on material and I wish I had ordered a small.

Sweater is heavy in weight, so will be warm on the shoulder seasons. I wore it with a turtleneck on cold winter days and liked it. Not sure I like the zippers on the side

The sweater is very heavy material and I was worried it wouldn't fit since I normally wear an XL but it fits perfectly. I love the side zipper because they give me a little more room in the hips.

I'm all about comfort these days and have even worn this sweater to work with a cute vest. It was really cold and one of those days I needed comfort at work. It fit true to size, L.L. Bean runs a little big for me so I ordered the small. Fit perfectly. Checking out other colors for next winter.

This is a heavy, well made cotton sweater. It has a lot of weight to it but it also breathes well. I like the shape of the neck and the side zippers. I was a bit disappointed in the overall shape of the sweater on; it fits rather boxy and isn't as flattering as I'd hoped. I am often between a medium and small with llbean items; this time the small was even a bit on the large side. I'm guessing the weight of the sweater contributed to its overall boxy shape. I was on the fence but decided to keep it. The knit work is lovely and it is warm without being too warm. I am hoping it washes well because for its price it needs to hold up a long time!

I received this sweater as a Christmas gift in a size Medium. I understand it's a tunic and is therefore longer than a regular sweater, but this was very big. In the photos on the website and on other online sources, the sweater hits just below the butt. On me, the medium fell about 6" past that point and would have looked appropriate with tights and worn as a dress. It was also too big in the shoulders/underarms. I exchanged it for a small and the fit is perfect, and LLBean has a great exchange policy. Don't be afraid to size down.

I like the weight of this sweater. Somewhat heavy and warm. It fits a little loose. When I got the small it was too small so I kept the medium. It is very itchy and I have to wear a long sleeve T shirt under it to wear it. Which takes care of the problem.

I love this sweater. It does run big and it is long if you are shorter like I am. It is think and chunky. This keeps me warm and cozy in cold weather. Definitely recommend.

This is a well made sweater. But I am a senior and felt it was too heavy for my slight build. I'm sure those younger and taller (I'm 5'1") will look and feel great in this sweater. The color is more beige than I would have liked, but not the reason for my return. I returned it because of its weight and thickness.

This is definitely a winter sweater. Feels a bit heavier than most but feels warm. I like the weight of it.

I thought the sweater looked well made. It was too big for me, so I sent it back. I liked the zippers and the design, but honestly I felt like it added a few LBS which I definitely don't need and that was the reason I didn't exchange it for a smaller size. That said if I was 20 LBS lighter I would probably have kept it.
