I purchased this sweater in a small. I am 5'4" with a small frame. This sweater is well made but I found the cut of the neck to be very wide which was unflattering on me. I was sorry to return this sweater.

Lovely cotton sweater and appeared to be very good quality, but I returned it because it was too long and bulky and I did not care for the side zippers. I think I purchased a small and an extra small may have fit better, but I decided to save my money for something more suited for a small boned woman.

This is a beautiful, classy. casual sweater - very well made. I purchased the ivory sweater and thought the lavender and dark blue shades offered were also gorgeous.

I bought this sweater a few years ago to wear over leggings to and from the gym. It has become my go-to sweater for cool days for shopping, camping, hiking - it has held up after multiple washings.

Gorgeous sweater. It's cotton and heavy and a beautiful blue. I tried hard to like it enough to keep, but it was too big. I'm 5'4" and a small on top. I bought an extra small and it was too big. Rats.

Love this sweater. It is warm, comfy, stylish and of high quality.

This is a well-made, great sweater. I have rather short arms and it fit perfectly so if you are tall or have longer arms, it probably won't work for you. Also it is very thick. Barely fits under my winter coat! I would prefer a slightly thinner and softer feel. But it looks great and is warm. I find LL Bean shirts run a bit short-waisted so this tunic length is a good way to go, especially if you have a larger bust that takes up a bit of that length.

I have been waiting all week for this sweater. I love the feel, the weight, and the beautiful detailed design. I love that it is all cotton and thick without being too thick. The XSmall fits me well but the the neck lets the whole thing down and I can not keep it. It feels like I am wearing a garbage bag. The neck gapes and does not sit flush on the body. When you raise your arms the neck bulges. So disappointed. Returning.

This is a beautiful piece. I purchased this because it was so beautiful. It is cotton, and there is a lot of yarn used in this piece. It is a bit heavy! As stated earlier in other reviews, the neck may be considered too big. The picture in the catalog is a little deceptive. I was disappointed that the neck was on the large side. I'm almost sure that clothespins were used to tighten up the neck in the photo. However, the neck opening is such that it would easily accommodate the layered look. I almost returned this item. However, the piece is so beautiful that I decided to keep it. I have worn it a few times and I have enjoyed the comfort of the cotton fiber, and I love showing off the knitted art in this piece.

LLB needs to seriously monitor the quality of their vendors. I specifically bought one size smaller than normal because reviewers said it ran large. I would add: try 2 sizes smaller. The sleeves were too long, the neck was shoulder-wide. Someone who needs a warm sweater will benefit from my purchase. Good thing I had a $10 off coupon.

Heavy, yet soft to the touch, this sweater is exactly what you need for chilly fall and winter weather. One reason I chose this sweater was the zippers on the bottom sides. I have large hips and thought I might need to unzip it for it to fit properly. No need, really, as it stretches nicely, but it's great to have as an option, especially when layering.It's really pretty and I'm very glad I bought it.

Excellent quality. Extremely comfortable and warm and maybe even stylish if it fit like a tunic and not a dress!! I was shocked when I put the sweater on and saw that it reached slightly above my knees!! I always buy an extra large in sweaters and sweatshirts so I can wear a shirt comfortably underneath and Ive never had this problem. The odd thing is that it fit great around the bust and arm area. I thought to exchange it for a large but I couldnt find the receipt and it probably wouldnt have made much of a difference in length. Ive read all the reviews and it didnt seem like anyone else had the same problem which leads me to believe that my sweater may be defective. The bottom line is that it sickens me to think that I paid $140 for something I may never wear.

Here in California we dont need wool, so a cotton sweater is always wonderful to find. The sleeves are plenty long, overall it is more of a tunic sweater but the sides unzip to give you a little movement room. I would say it is very true to size. There is plenty of room to put a blouse underneath when we hit our colder days. Overall, a very good purchase!

Fits true to size. I'm 5'7", 145 and got a medium. I love the fusion of faire isle and fisherman styles. In a tushie-covering tunic to boot!

This was simply too heavy for my small frame. Also, the small size was too big.

Such beautiful warmth and quality but I was not a fan of the color. Ran big.
