My last LL Bean robe was purchased years ago, they last and get softer and softer. Ordered petite med, shoulders seem a little snug but decided to keep since L would have been too big. My old robe had holes in it, tough to let go!!!

Love the fit and feel of this robe! So cozy without being super bulky and hot! My only complaint is the colors and pattern of this robe makes it feel very Christmas-y, and with a house in the Rockies, I plan to wear regularly from September to April or May. More color options would be great!

Based on reviews I ordered a petite size to make sure I wouldn't trip on the length. Slight shrinkage during first washing. Very lightweight but soft and warm. As other reviewers noted, there is some fuzzy pilling but I think it will taper off. It's very roomy - could've maybe sized down but I'd like it to be loose and comfy. Compared to my faithful old flannel bathrobe (purchased elsewhere) this one isn't quite as good but I'm sure I'll grow to love it more. Ignore everything but the robe in the photo - wanted others to see what the length of a petite small is on a not-quite 5'4" woman!

This is the third one of the long flannel robes that I have owned over several years. The first one was a plaid and lasted and lasted. The second one was navy and did not last as long and developed a hole as it seemed the fabric was thinner and thinner with each wash. Also the belt needed some interfacing as it stayed folded all the time. I even tried ironing it. Haven't worn this one yet. It is another plaid and fairly well matched. These robes are a good weight and not too bulky, which I really like. I haven't found anything else I like better, so I will continue to recommend.

I'm short so this just skims the floor, which is fine. Two negatives: the plaid can emphasize a large bottom if the belt doesn't hit your waistline just right and with the flannel fabric on the thin side, the belt needs ironed after washing since it only two layers with no inside facing. I'm also going to tack down the back of the collar so it stays put.

This robe is soft and cozy enough in a light weight flannel, however, the sleeves are too short. They are 2 inches above my wrists. Will keep it anyway, but disappointed that LLBean would try to save fabric in this way.

Love the fabric and the design but too long. I am 5' 4" and ordered the small size but it is way too long... Tripped over it a couple of times going upstairs! I have to have it altered.

This is a great robe, but it is not very warm. I would have given it 5 stars if the flannel had been a bit heavier. Fit is good, with large patch pockets.

I do like the robe, but it's way oversized for me. I've ordered a size down and will see if that's better when it arrives. Why did they start putting the locker loop inside, though? In my last LLBean flannel robe (that's now wearing out after a number of years), it was on the outside--much more comfortable.

I love that this robe is full length down to my ankles. However, the plaid may look good on some women, but too masculine looking on me. Please bring back this full-length robe in solid colors. (I still love my previous LL Bean flannel robe in a peach-pink color, but it got clorox bleach splashed up on it.) I'm also hoping for your thick cotton terrycloth robe to come back in its full-length version.

I like the look and feel of this robe. It is slightly lighter in weight than needed for a very cold winter morning but a good all around robe. Very comfortable.

I was looking to replace the bathrope I got from LLbean 35 years ago . I would sew up holes but it finally disintergrated. I kept the old bathrobe because i had pictures of it at Christmas when the kids were growing up LL Bean told me this one was the closest one to it. It needs to be washed to get the itchyness of new ness out of it . Afterwashing its very comfy and warm and covers everything when I answer the door.

I love this robe, it is thinner than I expected but I know after I wash it flannel usually gets softer and a little thicker feeling. The length is great!

At 5'7'' the robe length is exactly what I wanted. Size large fit my 40DD, size 14 body comfortably. Print dress gordon is shown with a white ground, which is feminine and lovely. The problem is that the robe I received in print dress gordon, is very masculine due to its blue/black background. I'm aware dye lots change, but my reorder was the exact same. LL Bean, for the sake of honestly in retail, please update the dress gordon image and swatch!

An additional 2 inches in length and this robe would be perfect. It's very cozy; warm without being too heavy.

I agree with other reviewers that this flannel is thinner than the old LLBean robe I've had for many years, which is finally wearing out at the neck. It is thinner, I think, than my husbands good Portuguese Flannel pjs. but that being said, it washed up soft and comfy. No flannel is manufactured in the US anymore, and good flannel is pricey. I would be willing to pay more, but would everyone? I ordered a larger size so it would be roomy over winter pjs. Most important to me, it comes in PETITE sizing. If i order a large Misses, it is way too long and the belt ties around my hips. So Please keep carrying Petite sizing.

I love this robe (bought 2) but the excessive lint it leaves behind is insane!!!! Every time I wear it, my nightgown is covered in lint. I've already washed it 4 times and it's in the wash again trying to get rid of the inordinate amount of lint residue. I've had other flannel robes, nightgowns and this has never happened before. Very inconvenient. :'(

The robe is very nice. Too bad it is about 6 inches too long. I'm very disappointed.

I first ordered this robe in my usual size medium. It was much too large so I exchanged it for size small which is also a bit large except thru the shoulders. The length is perfect. The red plaid is bright and pretty. Fit in a robe is flexible so I will enjoy it.

I had to return this. Nothing wrong except I found the colors too dark. I really want green and thought this would do. Didn't.

I Love it...It was a little too long,(I am short 5' 2 1/2") so I shortened it a bit. Love the full length and fullness and the generous length of the tie belt.

Love the softness and the fit. I had my last LLB robe for at least 18 years, because I remember having it on watching 911 on TV. Horrible to remember the robe by that date, but impervious in my mind. Only it was PINK. Finally last year the elbows gave out, pockets were gone, but an excellent run for that PINK robe. It may have been 20 years new!! Please bring back the PINK, a little bit more feminine, some of us LLB girls are girlie girls!! I did get BRIGHT PINK monogramming, BUT really really miss the soft PINK robe!

The fabric is very soft. I'd have liked it to be heavier, though. Will be good for spring or fall.
