Living in the Cold Northeast couldn't wait for my LLBEAN PJ's to arrive.
The flannel was thin and poor quality. They ran small and had tiny dress shirt buttons with poorly sewn buttonholes.I am usually a Med. but ordered a Large for room, the wrists were so small I had to unbutton for comfort!

Ordered petite small flannel pajamas and the bottoms are HUGE. I'm 5'3 105 pounds and they swam on me. My husband decided he could wear them and he's 6'1 165 pounds and they fit him! Considering buyers need to pay a return fee I decided just to give the bottoms to him. A petite small should not fit a 6'1 man. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed in L.L. Bean's quality decline in the past few years - never thought I would see LL Bean replacing 100% cotton and wool sweaters with plastic "blends"- particularly for women's clothing. These pajamas have been a holiday tradition for over 30 years in my family. This years quality is terrible. The weight of the flannel is very thin, the stitching simple, irregular, and low quality. These would not hold up for more than half a year of wear. Shame on company leadership for allowing this, and notably, pushing poorer quality products for women, than for the comparable products available for men.

I bought a women's medium, I weigh roughly 100lb and I am 5'2. The shrinkage is insane, it feels so cheap, so highly disappointing for LL bean! The pants are so incredibly long when the sleeves on the top are short? Really unsatisfied and unfortunate- I have been an in-store client for years and can't say I will ever be a return customer.

When I saw these flannel pajamas I was in love. The high pric was certainly not in my budget but I couldn't stop thinking about them. I received them yesterday and washed them last night. First of all, all of the size charts said to get a large regular. Well I'm only 5'3" and 135 lbs. The top fits ok but the pants are huge. Next, they are very lightweight and not warm at all. Also, the inside of the waist line is very scratchy. Finally, and most disturbing for what I paid, after 1 wash, they are already pilling. Big box store pajamas are better than these. I will never buy anything from LL Bean again.

I ordered these PJs because I love the one I already have (a petite large). The new order was the same item #, same country of origin and same size but the fit of the new one was totally off. Bottoms were so laughably big and long that no amount of expected shrinkage could make it better! Easy decision to return it immediately

Have bought LL Bean flannel pajamas for many years. Price has gone up but the quality has gone down...material has become thinner. Just bought another pair and sadly the underarm seams split within a few weeks. Sorry to say but I won't buy again.

The size is more like a large versus a petite medium

We ordered these in petite medium and returned them immediately. The pants were huge, both in volume and length, not even close to medium or petite. It's as if the manufacturer just made one size of pants and changed the labels. The top was only slightly small but it was apparent that it would shrink to too tight with one wash, even in cold water. Very disappointed with the quality produced by this maker - sorry, LLB, you should expect more.

I'd wanted this set of pajamas for some time. I'm a little fluffy so I ordered XXL because I wanted them roomy. The top fit like an XL & was tight. The bottoms fit like a XXXL & were way too big. Very disappointed.

I am 5'4", weigh 130 lbs.
I bought a women's large because I like my jammies loose-fitting.
The top was quite tight, the bottom about 4" too long.
Not acceptable at all - especially given the price.
They're going back.

Been an LLB customer since 1973. Quality is going downhill on everything. This flannel is thin, lightweight and pilling after one wash. If I had been at store and felt it would never have bought. Men's lounge pants flannel is twice the quality and heft of flannel. These are to be winter apps and are so thin they could be summer PJs. LLB prices are going up up up and quality down, down, down. You need to rethink your products. Sad. Very disappointed. Many items I contemplate buying I no longer do after reading reviews.of poor quality. $90 for thin flannel PJs??? Nope.

Wish there was a way to order tops and bottoms separately. The medium petite pants were a perfect fit, but the top was very tight with too short sleeves. Would have loved to get just the top in a size larger.

Flannel Fabric got stiff and itchy after several washings. They were so uncomfortable I refuse to wear the pajamas anymore. I have pajamas from several other manufacturers that have remained soft and cozy for several years after purchasing. I do not recommend this product.

I so looked forward to this and always get my flannel pj's from LL Bean. This one was on backorder. I ordered a Medium size and received a medium top and HUGE pj bottom's. They were evidently mislabeled. I am returning.

I purchased 2 pairs of these pajamas in January, and am very disappointed. It took 4 weeks to receive them. Since then, I have laundered both pairs several times, according to the exact washing and drying instructions. The quality of the flannel is very poor. Each time I laundered them, an excessive amount of lint was shed, and continues even after several washings. Now, the flannel is thin, pilling, and very rough to the touch. After just a month's time, both pairs look like they are several years old, and are very uncomfortable to wear. Given the price, these pajamas are very over-rated, and are not consistent with the LL Bean quality I've known for years!

Bought for my wife this past Christmas from this website. Came in an LLBean bag, with a LLBean dangle tag, and an LLBean packing slip. Collar tag says Lee Riders? Shirt tag only, pants says LLBean.

I received these pajamas as a gift for Christmas last year (Dec 2024), today (Feb 2025), I was wearing them around the house and squatted down and the rear ripped. I had recently noticed that they were getting thin and then today, the rip. Would expect $80 pajamas to last longer than a year.

These pajamas were disappointing after laundering, shrinkage resulted in a totally different fit than when received, also the cut was skimping on fabric. IMO, LL Bean's standard of quality has diminished.

I have had several pairs of Bean's flannel pajamas and wanted to try one of the newer colors. The pair I received a couple of weeks ago pilled within the first or second wear and despite washing, air drying and ironing, have pills every where. They are nothing like the pairs I have owned for years. Sadly I am returning and will not purchase another pair until Bean can bring back their old quality.

They were bought for my mother (who is tall, for a woman). The legs were too tall for my father, who is taller!
