It's lovely, warm, and thick. I do think it's a LITTLE smaller than it ought to be for something I thought was supposed to be extra-generous. And the sleeves, while not TOO short, are more in the category of ALMOST generously long enough.

I have mostly grown to like these plaid nightgowns even though I've had issues with them. I am still a huge fan of the previous nightgowns, the vintage style, and prefer them to the newer ones. (I still have one that is holding up alright even though it's getting old.) The fit is different between the two styles and my size changed. Not a perfect fit but acceptable. I totally do not understand the pockets in the plaid nightgowns. Who needs pockets that size in a nightgown? They are bulky and make the sides of the gown lumpy. They are silly and unnecessary. Another thing that changed is the quality of the flannel. The vintage style gowns never showed anything like pilling. The plaid gowns are borderline on that issue, never looking or feeling perfectly smooth again after being washed. So, I do have issues with these gowns but have mostly adapted. They are warm and they do the job.

I love the Flannel items you sell !! But, I would like to know how to maintain the softness after 6 to 8 washings. I've tried several kinds of fabric softeners.

Warm robe to toss on over pj's or after a shower. Not super heavy warm, so can go all-season in cooler climates. The only thing; it closes right over left and "kimono" style garments should close left over right. (which only bothers someone Japanese...but still.)

Nice weight. Has pockets and a generous fit. The only complaint I have is that it stated it was made in Portugal which it is not. The quality is still good after 5-6 washjngs.

I have purchased at least 6 of these nightgowns through the years. This is because they are very soft, warm and well made. I would like to see a return to the patterns that are non-plaid just because that it was drew me to them to begin with. I also am not sure about the new design with the pockets. I will continue to purchase these due to the high quality so I would recommend them.

LPetite was perfect fit for me, plus pockets! My old nightie literally wore out. It was very old. Quite durable. This new one doesn't feel as thick as the last one. Both flannel. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I'm 4' 11", 138 lbs. The length and fullness were both spot on.

Soft, warm and comfortable, I really like this nightgown. The only fault I have is that it shrunk in the dryer, even on tumble dry low as the instructions give. The sleeves were long enough so they still cover my wrists but the length was shortened. I wish that makers would pre-shrink the material before sewing.

I bought three of these gowns years ago and I love them. They are warm and cozy. I love the pleats and the fullness of the gown. I bought three more this winter and I feel a little disappointed. Everything is the same but the fabric seems to be thinner than the ones I bought a few years ago.

Nice flannel material, but it would be good to have a more feminine design with small flowers or maybe stripes. Plaids are so masculine!
Runs large.

I gave it 4 stars because the neck should be bigger. Very nice and warm but have to leave top button open.

Why do you think that women want to look ugly in a long flannel nightgown. Please stop large plaids, red/green, fir trees, moose, cabins, etc. Please find feminine prints in soft colors.

I like the gown but the fabric seemed a little flimsy.

I've always loved these Bean flannel gowns. They have changed the material over the years and it's not the same quality it used to be. Wish they change it back. It's gets knotty after many washes. The original material did not.

The sleeves are a bit long but I cuff them one time . Other than that it's warm and to my ankle which is hard to find in a nightgown anymore. Very soft!!! Satisfied with this nightgown . It's roomy too and has pockets which are nice.

I like this style of nightgown and flannel works well for Michigan winters. I have 4 of them, 2 each at 2 different homes. I have had several of llbean gowns over the past 20 years. I wish they were made with the quality of flannel that kept me ordering them.

A lovely gown, soft & warm, with pockets. It would be better if it had a loop to hang it on on hook (I added one) and the labels at the back of the neck are very scratchy (I removed them.)

Good flannel. I like the length and the width. Under the arms could be more generous. I only notice this when I am turning over in bed.

Love the soft material and style of neck and sleeves. Only complaint are the itchy tags which I had to cut off. Please have printed sizes only!

I have many of these nightgowns and love the warmth they provide. The quality is timeless. Would have given them a five star rating, however, I wish they would come up with better pattern choices or even solid color options.

Just received this flannel nightgown. I was disappointed there was no collar. I bought a similar one a few years ago that has a nice collar. Also, it is too full and does not fall close to the body thus I fear it will not be warm and will require an under garment. The fabric is soft, the plaid is colorful and the length is just right. .

A good solidly-made flannel nightgown. I only give it 4 stars because it has pockets and I don't need pockets in a nightgown. I found the pockets uncomfortable and annoying as the fabric just bunches inside the side seams. I ended up removing the pockets but there are several seams to unpick on each side of each pocket, so rather a project to remove them and stitch the seam closed. But, other than the pocket issue, I have purchased this nightgown several times over as it is well-made and fits well, etc.

This was my third purchase of these nightgowns. They are of good quality, very soft and comfortable. Each of my nightgowns have held up at least three winters before showing signs of wear. My only hesitation for this product is the price.

It would be perfect if it wasn't for the labels sewn into the back of the neck on the dress, no matter how soft, they still tend to itch every so often, why can't they be stamped like your other clothes?

I always like these nightgowns because they don't have elastic or lace, and I am partial to plaids. However, this year's fabric doesn't seem to be nearly as substantial as in previous years. Also, if you are a repeat buyer like me you will find: 1) it seems shorter than other years, and 2) the back no longer has that cosy double fabric placket that kept shoulders warm on chilly nights. Instead it has a series of vertical tucks that might irritate fussy backs.
