This is my second flnnel nighgown in this style. The flannel is thick and soft. The style is roomy and a nice "waltz" length for my petite height. The colors in this plaid are vibrant and warmng. I love having the pockets.

NIghtgown is warm and fluffy. I bought a shorter one (above the knee) a couple years ago and this is a much better length for cold nights.

I have purchased several flannel nightgowns from LL Bean and the quality of the flannel is always superior, very soft and well made. I love this Scotch Plaid Flannel Nightgown and it will keep me toasty warm during our upcoming cold New England winter.

So warm and cozy. The fit is perfect also. I bought this for this year's Polar Express and I'm so excited to wear it for that.

Good weight flannel- full cut - pockets -washes well- will be my regular choice .

I purchase the XL for the length. I experienced very little shrinkage. The flannel is a nice flannel with no pilling. I hang my gowns to dry because it preserves the flannel. I want as much fluff on the gown because that is what keeps me warm. I also have found that if you are getting pilling on any flannel just dry it in the dryer with an aluminum foil ball and it takes all pilling off.

Generous fit. I'm 5'6, 145 lbs. purchased a M. Love it. Colors are spot on. Really nice quality and details.

I got one of these in 2X because I like my nightie loose. This style is a little longer than the old style which is nice. It still has the right weight flannel, not too heavy and not too light. I'm glad llbean started offering them again! I washed mine before wearing and there were no loose threads.

My nightgown in indigo plaid is really cute. It is a good lengtha few inches above my anklesand is soft and cozy. I did not have the problem with lint that a few others mentioned, and I have just ordered a second one.

This product is perfect to keep you warm, I snuggle in it and am warm all night.

This nightgown checks off most boxes for me: the fabric is soft and flowing, the fit is perfect (size 20, and ordered a 3X), length skims my ankles (I am 5'5") the sleeves cover my wrists but do not flop down over my hands, no annoying elastic, pockets to carry my phone outside to the porch in the mornings, holds up well after dozens of washings. But the gown has one real drawback. You will need to wash it, preferably by itself, before wearing. It is FULL of lint and loose threads that will cling to everything in your washing machine. I had to wash mine twice before it was ok to wear. I was so scared I made a mistake by purchasing it. But after the two washings, it was fine. This was three years ago, and I am still loving the gown. I just received a second purchase this week, and sure enough, it was once again full of lint and loose threads. So it was not a fluke the first time around. I'm not sure what causes it to be this way. But if you're willing to take the time to prewash(maybe even twice), you will have a lovely gown that you can enjoy for years to come.

I have had one of these nightgowns for over a year and loved it. The flannel pilled a bit when washed the first few times, but otherwise it was perfect--the style, the fit, the beautiful plaid--so I just ordered two more in different beautiful plaids and am very happy with them. I wear one, with few bedcovers on cool summer nights, and feel cuddled by it under a comforter on winter nights. (I don't need the pockets, though.)

This is a terrific nightgown, washes well. It has pockets. Nightgowns w/o pockets are deal breakers for me. The color is cheery. I was concerned that a small petit would not fit--took a chance as the weather was staying cold, not all sizes were still available and I wanted this llbean. It fits just right--sleeves, length. Great and snuggly to sleep in.

It actually was not too short. That in itself is amazing. loved the quality of the material

1st of all the sales lady in Rochester store where I returned the one I got by mail...was awesome! took back the red blk one and found me a black watch... sent it to my house great job. The night gown is fabulous... fits great big &baggy...so comfortable... it is cold in Buffalo ny. Will get smith plaid next fall cannot wait... thank you

Bought this to replace one I purchased 20 years ago...(white with red accent)...that has finally become a bit threadbare: THANK YOU for keeping the fit loose and comfy...so hard to find with this quality of flannel which is the most perfect weight..not too heavy, not too flimsy...but please bring back plain white!!! I love the scotch plaid but it is more seasonal than the white, which I wear on chilly nights year round! This is on the LLBean Greatest Hits List!

This nightgown is a little large but may shrink somewhat. It's well-made with nice long sleeves, good length, and two pockets. The flannel is very soft and a great replacement for two other flannel nightgowns I have that have lost all their fuzz.
